Objective To optimize the extraction conditions for Yuemu eye drops. Methods The extraction conditions were studied with orthogonal test L_9(3~4),the content of caffeic acid was determined by HPLC as index. Results Alcohol concentration and frequency of extraction were remarkable factors in the test. Conclusion The optimum extraction technology for Yuemu eye drops was to reflux and extract the materials for 2 times in 80% alcohol, the volume of which was 6 times the weight of herbal medicine, with 1 hour for each time.
2.Toll-like receptors and tumor microenvironment
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(8):567-569
Toll-like receptor (TLR) plays a crucial role in innate immune response and the subsequent induction of adaptive immunity. TLR is expressed on immune cells as well as epithelial cells and tumor cells. When endogenous and exogenous ligands bind with TLR, TLR signaling pathways are activated and a large number of inflammatory cytokines are released, creating an inflammatory microenvironment and leading to tumor formation, invasion and metastasis.
3.Treatment of 43 Cases of Enuresis by Acupuncture
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2003;1(6):26-27
By classification with syndrome differentia -tion into the three patterns of deficient cold in the lower energizer, qi deficiency in the spleen and lung and damp heat in the Liver Meridian, 43 cases of enuresis were treated by puncturing Baihui (GV 20), Guanyuan (CV 4)and Sanyinjiao (SP 6). After two courses of the treatment, the results showed cure in 28 cases, improvement in 13 cases and failure in 2 cases.

5.Determination of Potassium Chloride in Compound Sodium Chloride Injection by Sodium Tetraphenylborate Volumetric Method
China Pharmacy 2005;0(14):-
OBJECTIVE:To establish sodium tetraphenylborate volumetric method in place of gravimetric analysis method for the determination of the content of potassium chloride in compound sodium chloride injection.METHODS:The contents of potassium chloride in compound sodium chloride injection were determined by sodium tetraphenylborate volumetric method and sodium tetraphenylborate gravimetric method respectively, the results of which were compared.RESULTS:The average recovery of volumetric method was99.75%(RSD=0.46%,n=9),there was no significant difference in the t-test comparison between the determination results of volumetric method and that of the gravimetric method.CONCLUSION:The sodium tetraphenylborate volumetric method is simple, fast and accurate, which can take the place of gravimetric method for the deter?mination of contents of potassium chloride in compound sodium chloride injection.
6.Clinical research on Reparil-Gel for osteoarthritis of the knee
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2005;11(1):49-50
ObjectiveTo compare the clinical effect and security of Reparil Gel on osteoarthritis of the knee.Methods60 patients were randomly divided into Reparil Gel group and Fenbid group, who applied Reparil Gel or take Fenbid orally respectively. Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) was used to assess patients' pain, joint stiffness and disability of knee on 0 week, 2 week, 6 week after treatment. The side effect was observed.ResultsBoth group showed good clinic effect on 2 weeks (P<0.05)and 6 weeks (P<0.001)after treatment. Significant difference between two group was found 2 weeks after treatment, but there was no difference 6 weeks after. There was no side effect had been observed in Reparil Gel group, while stomachache, nausea or anorexia had been found in 4 case of Fenbid group 2 weeks after, and 8 case of Fenbid group 6 weeks after.ConclusionReparil Gel are same effective as Fenbid, but less side effect happened.

Objective To discuss the strategies of lower complications of LC in the initial stage. Methods The clinical data of 168 patients, from Sep. 2008 to May. 2010 ,treated with laparoscopic cholectectomy were retrospectively analyzed. Results LC was performed in all patients(100%). None of the series had intra-abdominal bleeding, biliary tract injury and no other serious complications were observed. Conclusion Through correct perioperative management and meticulous operation, LC was safe and complications lower in the initial stage.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2005;9(17):189-191
BACKGROUND: The autonomous neurogenic bladder(ANB) is one of the common problems and difficulty in rehabilitation of patients with spine injury. Having the advantages of safety, non-invasion and no side-effects,functional magnetic stimulation(FMS) has been applied in central nervous system(CNS) neurotransmission, recovery from nervous exhaustion, bone healing, treatment of neural disorders and research of brain function, and so on. But the studies on treatment of ANB after spine injury are not as profound and systematic as they were needed.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the therapeutic effect of FMS in patients with ANB caused by spine injury.DESIGN: A longitudinal observation based on patients.SETTING: Department of Rehabilitative Medicine, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.PARTICIPANTS: From May 2003 to May 2004, 12 patients with ANB hospitalized in the Rehabilitative Medicine Department of Tongji Hospital,Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology were selected, 9 were male and 3 were female.METHODS: By using MagLite FMS Devices(made by Dantec, Danmark),a FMS therapy was employed at the sacral 3(S3) nerve root region and the bladder region, twice a day, 5 days a week, and a duration of 4 - 8 weeks.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The pre-and post-treatment dynamics of urine flow variables(such as, residual urine volume, maximum urethral closure pressure(MUCP), the maximum bladder capacity, the bladder pressure, and the maximum urine flow rate), the frequency of urination, the average daily amount of urine, the maximum urine volume(V max), influence of urinary symptoms on the quality of life scale and the symptom score of lower urinary tract syndrome(LUTS) were selected as main outcomes measurements.RESULTS: Nearly all of the pre-and post-treatment dynamics of urine flow variables(such as, residual urine volume, MUCP, the maximum bladder capacity, the bladder pressure and the maximum urine flow rate) exhibited significant difference( P < 0. 01 - 0. 001 ), except for the bladder pressure ( P > 0.05); After FMS therapy, the frequency of urination decreased and the daily amount of urine and the V max increased significantly(P < 0.01-0. 001); Also, the influence of urinary symptoms on the quality of life scale and the symptom score of LUTS changed significantly( P < 0. 001 ).CONCLUSION: FMS therapy can greatly and partly ameliorate the bladder function of the patients with ANB after spine injury, and it can also improve their quality of life significantly.

Objective To investigate the protective effect and the mechanisms of triptolide on antibody-mediated rejection (AMR) in kidney transplantation.Method A rat model of AMR in kidney transplantation was constructed by sensitizing major histocompability complex (MHC) completely incompatible species of rats via blood transfusion before kidney transplantation. The protective effect of Triptolide on the renal function and pathologic injury was studied in this rat model. The levels of donor specific antibodies were measured by flow cytometry.C4d expression and macrophage infiltration were examined by immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence.Result Triptolide could improve the function of transplanted kidney significantly (P<0.05) and alleviate the pathologic injury.Triptolide can also reduce the levels of IgM,IgG2b and IgG2c in the serum of the recipient rats and inhibit the macrophage infiltration as well (P<0.05).Conclusion Triptolide plays protective and therapeutic roles in AMR of kidney transplantation, which may be contributed to the inhibition of the production of donor specific antibody and the macrophage infiltration.
