3.Malignant transformation of sinonasal inverted papilloma: retrospective analysis of 32 cases.
Chinese Journal of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;48(12):1002-1005
OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinicopathological features and prognosis of patients with the malignant transformation of sinonasal inverted papilloma.
METHODSThirty-two consecutive cases encountered between January 1991 and January 2008 were retrospectively reviewed. Survival rates and prognostic factors were calculated with SPSS 17.0 software using the Kaplan-Meier method and multivariate Cox model survival analysis.
RESULTSThe malignancy accounted for 8.99% of all types of sinonasal inverted papilloma. There were 25 males and 7 females, the median age was 56.5 years. The sites of tumor included 22 cases in nasal cavity and ethmoid sinuses, 10 cases in maxillary sinuses. The tumors included 21 high grade tumors, 8 intermediate grade tumors and 3 low grade tumors. Thirty-two patients were staged as T1(3/32), T2(10/32), T3(16/32), T4(3/32). According to the percentage of the malignant cell in the entire tumor tissue, 5 patients were in grade I, 5 patients were in grade II, 8 patients were in grade III, 14 patients were in grade IV. There were 3 distant metastasis in 32 patients; 19 patients underwent surgery plus postoperative radiotherapy, 10 underwent surgery alone and 3 underwent radiotherapy alone. The 5-year overall survival were 72.5%, and the median overall survival time was 62.2 months. Kaplan-Meier univariate survival analysis indicated that the clinical stages and treatment modalities were prognostic factors, and multivariate Cox model survival analysis confirmed that the clinical stages and treatment modalities were independent factors for overall survival (HR were 4.211 and 0.312, all P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSThe morbidity of sinonasal inverted papilloma-associated malignancy is low, the clinical features were not specificity. The clinical stages and treatment modalities may affect the prognosis. Surgery plus postoperative radiotherapy are main treatment means.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
There are two populations of bacteria to affect the formation of urinary stones in humanity. The first one can promote the formation of urinary stone by increasing urinary pH, decreasing concentration of urinary inhibitors , and damaging the protective urothelial glycosaminoglycan layer. The second inhibit the formation of urinary stones. These bacteria ( mainly the intestinal oxalate degrading bacteria such as Oxalobacter formigenes, lactic acid bacteria, Enterococcus faecalis etc) can decrease urinary oxalate concentration by regulating exogenous oxalate. The problems faced and the developing direction were also indicated.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2019;40(5):738-741
Objective:
To explore the relationship between gross motor development and perceived motor competence among children aged 7-8 years old.
Methods:
Random cluster sampling method was used to conduct a test among 162 students aged 7-8(78 boys,84 girls)by using Test of Gross Motor Development Ⅲ(TGMD-3) and 3 and Pictorial Scale of Perceived competence and Social Acceptance for Young Children(PSPC-P).
Results:
There were no statistical significance of perceived motor competence in different genders, and ages among children(t=-0.82, -0.58, P>0.05). Gross motor development differed significantly in different age groups (t=-4.79, P<0.01). Eight-year-old group(63.10±5.70) scored higher than 7-year-old group(57.96±7.76).There exists clear association between gross motor scores and perceived motor competence (r=0.29, P<0.01), as well as locomotor development and manipulative development with perceived motor competence (r=0.21, 0.24, P<0.05).
Conclusion
There are close correlations between gross motor development and perceived motor competence among children aged 7 to 8 years. Manipulative development shows obvious influences on perceived motor competence. No gender differences are found in perceived motor competence.

OBJECTIVETo explore anti-cancer effect and mechanism of green tea extract (GTE) in three human oral squamous carcinoma cell lines (CAL-27, SCC-25 and KB).
METHODSThe cell lines were in vitro cultured and its growth inhibition was detected by MTT. After screening most sensitive cell line, effect of GTE on CAL-27 cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry. The protein expression of GTE on CAL-27 cell strain was determined by protein chip technique. The protein expression of CDK4, CDK6, and p-PDK1 was verified by using Western blot.
RESULTSCompared with the control group, the inhibition rate on CAL-27 increased significantly after treated by 50, 100, 200, and 400 μg/mL GTE; the inhibition rate on KB increased after treated by 100, 200, and 400 μg/mL GTE; the inhibition rate on SCC-25 increased after treated by 25, 50, 100, 200, and 400 μg/mL GTE, all with statistical difference and in dose dependant manner (P < 0.01). Flow cytometric analysis showed that, when compared with the control group, 50 μg/mL GTE arrested CAL-27 cells in the G2/M phase (P < 0.05), and 100 μg/mL GTE arrested CAL-27 cells in the G2/M phase with concurrent decreased cells in the G0/G1 phase (P < 0.01). Totally 107 proteins were analyzed by protein chip technique. After treated by GTE, a total of 13 proteins significantly changed in CAL-27 cell line. Western blot showed that 25, 50, and 100 μg/mL GTE inhibited the expression of phopho-phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase 1 (p-PDK1), cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4), and CDK6 of CAL-27 cell line with statistical difference (P < 0.05). The higher the drug concentration, the higher the inhibition rate (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSGTE could inhibit the proliferation of different human oral squamous carcinoma cell lines. CAL-27 is a sensitive cell line. GTE significantly affected EGFR and Notch signal network, and influenced changes of cell cycle related protein expression levels through the aforesaid channels, resulting in cell cycle arrest in S and G2/M phases.
