Objective: To observe the effect of moxa-stick moxibustion plus recombinant human granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (rhG-CSF) in preventing chemotherapy infection in gastric cancer and its effect on immune function. Methods: A total of 70 patients with gastric cancer treated by chemotherapy were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was given rhG-CSF, and the observation group was given additional moxa-stick moxibustion on the basis of rhG-CSF. Both groups were treated for 2 chemotherapy cycles, totally 6 weeks. The number of patients with infection, the duration of infection and the duration of continuous use of antibiotics were observed. The leukocytes and granulocytes counts, the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) were measured before and after treatment, and the levels of CD4, CD8 and natural killer (NK) cells were analyzed. Results: The infection rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the duration of infection and the duration of continuous use of antibiotics were also shorter (P<0.05). After treatment, the leukocytes and granulocytes counts in the two groups were higher than those before treatment (all P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ of the patients in the two groups were improved (all P<0.05), and there were significant differences between the observation group and the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the numbers of CD4, CD8, and NK cells in the observation group increased significantly (all P<0.05), but the changes in the control group were not significant (P>0.05). Conclusion: Moxa-stick moxibustion plus rhG-CSF can significantly reduce the incidence and severity of chemotherapy infection in gastric cancer, increase the leukocytes and granulocytes counts, and regulate the levels of inflammatory factors, which may be related to the improvement of the immune function of the patients.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2000;0(08):-
Objective:To isolate mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from mouse fetal liver and induce them differentiate into islet B-like cells. Methods:MSCs were isolated from C57BL/6J mouse fetal liver and were induced with high concentration of glucose, basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) ,and nicotamine medium. The gene expressions related to islet B cells such as pancreatic duodenal homeobox-1 (PDX-1), proinsulin-1 (INS-1) ,and glucose transporter-2 (GLUT-2) were detected by RT-PCR. Insulin in the treated cells was examined by immunocytochemistry. The insulin clusters were stained with dithizone (DTZ), a zinc-chelating agent known to selectively stain pancreatic B cells. Results: RT-PCR showed that the treated cells expressed PDX-1, INS-1 and GLUT-2, while the undifferentiated cells did not. After approximately 10 d of treatment, the fetal liver cells formed DTZ-stained cell clusters in flasks (80-120 clusters in a flask 25 cm2 in area). Immunocytochemistry also confirmed that these aggregates were strongly positive for insulin. Conclusion: MSCs derived from fetal liver can be induced into islet B-like cells in vitro.

Objective To investigate the effect of thalidomide and As_2O_3 to the secretion of VEGF of the cell of ANLL and study if there is coorperation in thalidomide and As_2O_3.Methods From October 2001 to February 2003,23 patients with ANLL were analyzed.Heparinized marrow was taken, then it was putt into Ficoll-isopaque solution to be purified for MNC,which was cultured in the RPMI 1 640 medium, placed in 5% CO_2 saturation and 37℃ to proliferation.Choosing the cells in logarithm growth phase, adding cultural solution to abstaining the cellular density of 2?10~9/L and then putting it into 24-well plates. There are 4 groups :contrast group,thalidomide(300 ?g?mL~ -1 )group,As_2O_3(25 ?mol/L)group,and thalidomide(300 ?g?mL~ -1 )andAs_2O_3(25 ?mol/L)group,cultured for 72 hours.Examine the concentration of VEGF in upper liquid with ELISA method. Results The concentration of VEGF in upper liquid of 4 groups were respectively(1 582.67?281.51)ng/L、(1 206.29?264.87)ng/L、(941.72?236.34)ng/L、(639.12?211.98)ng/L.There were statisticd difference(P

Objective Investigate the changes of adhesion molecule on myocardium in patients during mitral valve replacement(MVR) operation on beating heart. Methods Patients were divided into two groups. There were 16 patients in control group (aorta crossclamped and middle hypothermic) and 14 patients in experimental group (aorta unclamped and moderate hypothermic). Samples of right atrial were obtained before CPB, 30 min after CPB. Immunohistochemistry were employed to dectect the expression of ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 on cardiac myocytes. Results Comparing with those before CPB, ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 on cardiac myocytes and myocardial vascular endothelial cells increase significantly in both groups(P
8. Establishment of a quantitative method for tetramethylpyrazine hydrochloride in rat plasma using pyramide as internal standard
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2013;48(9):730-732
OBJECTIVE: To develop an HPCE method of tetramethylpyrazine hydrochloride in rat plasma using pyramide as the internal standard. METHODS: The separation was performed on a fused-silica uncoated capillary with an inner diameter (ID) of 75 μm, an effective length of 50 cm and a total length of 60 cm. The optimum HPCE conditions were as follows: 100 mmol·L-1 SDS-30 mmol·L-1 sodium tetraborate solution (40:60) was used as the background electrolyt, the samples were injected at the anodic end at 0.5 psi for 6 s, separation voltage was 20 kV at positive power, capillary temperature was 20°C, and detection wavelength was 295 nm. RESULTS: The linear range was 1.12-286.72 mg·L-1(r=0.9996), and the inter-day and intra-day precisions expressed as RSDs were less than 4.21% and 4.74%, respectively. The average recoveries were 91.22%-97.48%, and the limit of detection was 0.16 mg·L-1. CONCLUSION: This method is rapid and accurate to quantify tetramethylpyrazine hydrochloride in rat plasma.

Objective To explore a new method in treating acute closed rupture of the Achilles tendon. Methods 22 cases of closed rupture of the Achilles tendon, which had been wounded within one week, were treated with short incision and tenocutaneous relaxing suture from 1994 to August 2001. Results The duration of follow up ranged from eight months to five years. According to Arner Lindholm criteria of therapeutic evaluation, excellent results were obtained in 19 (86.4% ), good in 3 (13.6% ), with the excellent and good rate being 100% . Conclusion Short incision and tenocutaneous relaxing suture is an effective treatment for acute closed rupture of the Achilles tendon because of its less suture tension and more blood supply protection. Objective To explore a therapeutic method for repairing the avulsion injury of total hand skin. Methods Bilateral chest navel flaps with nerves were used to repair the avulsion injury of total hand skin. Two nerves of the right lateral flap were anastomosed with the first and third common palmar digital nerves respectively; two nerves of the left lateral flap were anastomosed with the dorsum manus of ulnar nerve and cutaneous branch of radial nerve respectively. Results Postoperative follow up of 12 to 15 months showed that two cases were successful. The injured hands regained thalposis and thigmesthesia; the ulnar hand had sensitive thigmesthesia when touching a table; and the grasping function of the hand recovered partially. Conclusion Bilateral chest navel flaps with nerves are recommendable to all kinds of hospitals for repairing the avulsion injury of total hand skin.
