OBJECTIVE To investigate the bacteria distribution and antibiotic resistance in urinary tract infection in 2004.METHODS During Jan 1st 2004 to Dec 31st 2004,1007 urine specimens were collected from inpatient and outpatient departments of Beijing Hospital.Totally 632 strains of pathogens were identified and the drug resistance was(performed.) RESULTS Among pathogens of urinary tract infection in 2004,Escherichia coli rated the first(38.29%),(followed) by Enterococcus(18.67%),fungi(17.41%),Streptococcus(8.07%),Proteus(3.4%),Staphylococcus(3.95%),Pseudomonas aeruginosa(3.17%) and Klebsiella pneumoniae(2.37%).Enterobacteriaceae were sensitive to imipenem(100%).(G~+) cocci were sensitive to nitrofurantoin and vancomycin(nearly to 100%).Compared to pathogens of UTI in 2001,fungi showed obviously increasing trend.CONCLUSIONS In 2004,(Enterobacteriaceae)(mostly E.coli) are the major pathogens in urinary tract infection.Fungi infection in(urinary) tract has an obviously increasing tendency and should be carefully treated.

Objectives To establish real-time fluorenscence quantitative polymerase chain reaction ( RFQ-PCR ) for measurement of the expression level of guanylyl cyclase-C(GC-C) in the Peripheral blood mononuclear cell(PBMC)in 30 blood donors, 10 cases colorectal cancer tissue and 1 case T84 human colon cancer cell line. Methods Specific primers and TaqMan probe have been designed, and fluorenscence of the PCR product was detected continuously during amplification. According to the standard curve created by plasmid DNA, the expression level of GC-C in clinical samples has been determined using software, and the results were presented as the ratios of GC-C mRNA to?2-microgluobulin(?2M)mRNA. Results The detection range of the assay was from 101 pg/ml to109pg/ml,the coefficient of variation values of both intra-experimental and inter- experimental reproducibility were 6. 87% to 11. 12% and 8. 86% to 15. 19% . None of 30 blood donors and 11 benign intestinal patients expressed GC-C mRNA,it was expressed in 31/37 colorectal cancer patients. The expression level of GC-C mRNA in colorectal cancer patients was 0. 88?0.06,and the expression level of its in colorectal carcinoma tissue and T84 cells were 0. 86?0.07/ug tissue and 0.0082/per cell. Conclusions This assay had high sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility.
4. Ocular surface changes in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus: Research progress
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2020;41(1):81-84
Diabetes mellitus can result in many ocular complications, such as retinopathy, optic neuropathy, neovascular glaucoma and metabolic cataract, and plays an important role in causing blindness. In addition to diabetic retinopathy, the incidence of diabetic ocular surface diseases is also increased. Diabetes can lead to changes in the ocular surface including the lacrimal glands, tarsal glands, conjunctiva, tear film and cornea, such as dry eye, meibomian gland dysfunction, and corneal epithelial damage. This article reviews the research progress of ocular surface lesions and the pathogenesis in type 2 diabetes mellitus, hoping to provide theoretical basis for its clinical diagnosis and treatment.

The herbs used as the material for traditional Chinese medicine are mostly planted at mountain areas where there is appropriate weather condition. Due to the complex terrain condition in mountain area, the planting at such places is always associated with a scattered pattern, which inevitably bring difficulty to the work of accurate measurement for the planting area. Advanced research about monitoring the planting area for medicine-herb under complex environmental condition is so critical and meaningful for developing the medicine-herb planting to a large scale and an industry. Therefore, this research, taking the planting of Herpetospermum pedunculosum in Luding county as an example, utilizes RS&GIS: using the image data from TM and ETM datum as the remote sensing information source, integrating GPS data from quadrat survey on the spots, and analyzing on a GIS platform, to extract the planting area of H. pedunculosum in Luding county. The results indicate that: (1) the method and technology used to estimate the planting area of H. pedunculosum are feasible and can be applied to monitoring the planting area of medicine-herb at mountain area under complex environmental conditions: (2) the planting area of H. pedunculosum in Luding county is estimated to be 857. 246 acres by the methods utilized in this research, which is closed to the value from local statistical data with an error range less than 5%; (3) in consideration of those inevitable errorrs generating from the procedures such as remote sensing data acquisition, data preprocessing, data interpretation, and so on, and the fact that the classification of remote sensing data, which must be implemented by those above procedures, was used directly to extract the herb type, the accuracy of area estimation for the herb is significantly influenced by the accuracy of classification for herb type, and the estimated area is inevitably associated with some error.

Objective To discuss the clinical value of 99Tcm-sestamibi(99Tcm-MIBI) myocardial perfusion imaging on detecting myocardial ischemia in children with Kawasaki disease(KD) at convalescence period. Methods Twenty-one children wih KD at convalescence period were divided into 2 groups according to results of echocardiography.Four cases with coronary artery dilation,17 cases without coronary artery dilation. All cases accepted dipyridamole stress myocardial perfusion imaging. These patients who had positive results were given rest myocardial perfusion imaging again next day. Results Among 21 cases,9 cases(42.8%) were positive in perfusion imaging.Four cases with coronary artery dilation showed myocardial ischemia in different degree detected by myocardial perfusion imaging.Among 17 cases without coronary artery dilation,5 cases(29.4%) were positive. Conclusions Compared to echocardiography,99Tcm-MIBI myocardial perfusion imaging can objectively evaluate the location, extent and degree of myocardial ischemia of children with KD.It will be a routine test in observing its phase development.
