1.Curative effect of ziprasidone in the treatment of agitation in acute phase of schizophrenia
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2017;24(2):283-286
Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of domestic ziprasidone injection in the treatment of excitement and agitation in acute period of schizophrenia. Methods 60 patients with schizophrenia excited were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group. The treatment group was given ziprasidone 20 to 40mg/day by intramuscular injection, the control group was given haloperidol 10-20mg/day by intramuscular injection, the two groups were observed for three days. The positive and negative symptoms scale(PANSS)in the excitation factor(EC) points rate was used to assess efficacy, symptoms scale(TESS)was used to evaluate the adverse reaction. Before treatment,2,6,24,48,72 hours after treatment, the positive and negative symptoms scale of excitement factor (PANSS-EC)and symptoms scale(TESS)were evaluated. Results 72 hours after treatment, the PANSS -EC score in the ziprasidone group was obviously lower, the points rate was (69 ±18)%,the total effective rate was 83.3%,which of the haloperidol group were (71 ±26)%,86.7%,the differences between the two groups were not statistically significant (P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions between the ziprasidone group and haloperidol group had no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).But in terms of the incidence of vertebral body system, the ziprasidone group(4 cases)was obviously less than the haloperidol group(13 cases),the difference was statistically significant(χ2 =6.65,P<0.05).Conclusion Ziprasidone injection is effective in the treatment of agitation in acute phase of schizophrenia, with less side effect, higher safety.
2.Clinical effect of Morinda officinalis How oligosaccharide capsule combined with psychological therapy in the treatment of postpartum depression
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2018;25(5):601-604
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Morinda officinalis How oligosaccharide capsule (MOs) combined with psychological therapy in the treatment of postpartum depression .Methods 60 patients with postpartum depression were randomly divided into two groups ,30 cases in each group. The control group was adopted the psychological therapy, and the observation group received combined treatment of MOs and psychological therapy . The HAMD-17 and Chinese medicine scale for the quality of kidney deficiency syndrome (CMSKDS) were used to assess the treatment effect after 2,4,6 weeks treatment. The TESS was adopted to evaluate the side effect of treatment . Results There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups on HAMD and CMSKDS before treatment(all P >0.05).After treatment, the effective rates of HAMD and CMSKDS (reducing score ≥25%) of the two groups were 67.62%(control group) and 70.00%(observation group),the defferences between the two groups were statistically significant (all P <0.01).There was no statistically significant difference in TESS result ( P >0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of combined MOs and psychological therapy in the treatment of postnatal depression is remarkable, with little side effect, which can be strongly recommended .

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2019;26(10):1208-1212
Objective:
To compare the therapeutic effect of different drug in the treatment of schizophrenia in acute stage.
Methods:
From November 2014 to June 2017, 105 patients with acute schizophrenia admitted in Department of Psychiatry of Taiyuan Psychiatric Hospital and Department of Psychiatry of Jiuzhou Dermatological Hospital of Taiyuan were selected in the study.Seventy-five patients were from the Department of Psychiatry, Taiyuan Psychiatric Hospital.Thirty patients were from the Department of Psychiatry, Jiuzhou Dermatology Hospital. The patients were divided into three groups by random number method, with 35 cases in each group.A group was given amisulpride.B group was given olanzapine.C group was given ziprasidone. The PANSS score (positive symptoms, negative symptoms, mental pathological score), curative effect (cured, significantly improved, invalid), adverse events (EPS, akathisia, nausea, rapid heart beat, blurred vision, orthostatic dizziness, weight gain, total adverse events) in the three groups were observed.
Results:
After treatment for 2 weeks, the positive symptoms.negative symptoms, mental pathological score in the three groups were significantly decreased (all

BackgroundSchizophrenia is a complex, chronic and severe mental disorder, and the pathogenesis of which has not been fully elucidated. The abnormalities in lipid metabolism and circulating metabolomes have already been implicated in the pathophysiology of schizophrenia. However, available studies have mainly focused on a few liposomes and circulating metabolites, failing to systematically reveal the mediating role of circulating metabolomes in the causal relationship between liposomes and schizophrenia. ObjectiveTo uncover mediating role of circulating metabolomes in the causal relationship between liposomes and schizophrenia, thereby providing biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets for the prevention and treatment of schizophrenia. MethodsData from Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) were analyzed, taking data on 179 liposomes as exposure variables, data on 123 circulating metabolites as intermediate variables, and data on schizophrenia as outcome variable. A two-step, two-sample Mendelian randomization analysis was conducted using the inverse-variance weighted (IVW), MR- Egger, Weighted median, and Weighted mode methods to study the causal relationship of liposomes with schizophrenia and the mediating role of circulating metabolomes in the relationship. ResultsIVW model identified 8 lipids associated with schizophrenia without reverse causality. There were 5 circulating metabolomes strongly associated with schizophrenia. Acetate played a significant mediating role in the causal relationship between phosphatidylinositol (18:0_18:2) and schizophrenia (P=0.023, 95% CI: 0.036~0.532), accounting for 28.4% of the causal relationship. ConclusionThis study demonstrates a causal relationship between liposomes and schizophrenia, with phosphatidylinositol being a risk factor in the progression of schizophrenia, and acetate playing a mediating role in this process.
