Objective To research the Alzheimer disease(AD) patients' hippocampal structure and cognitive function with the susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) and morphological measurement,and explore the changing regularity and correlation.Methods Sixty patients (divided equally into mild,moderate and major group as the condition of the severity of the AD) and 20 healthy control groups were scanned with SWI and T1MR,then the differences between AD and healthy controls were analyzed.Results The hippocampal volumes of AD patients were smaller than that of control group.The biggest variability occured in the major group(the left was Dunnett-t =-7.03,P ＜ 0.01 ;the right was Dunnett-t =-7.52,P ＜ 0.01),the moderate group was next(the left was Dunnett-t =-6.71,P ＜ 0.01 ; the right was Dunnett-t =-6.62,P ＜ 0.01) ;and the least variability occurred in the mild group.They did not achieve statistical significance (the left was Dunnett-t =-0.86,P＞ 0.05 ;the right was Dunnett-t =-0.68,P ＞ 0.05).The hippocampus vein' s length,diameter had reduced significantly in the mild group(Dunnett-t were-5.62,-7.02,P＜ 0.001),but the number of the branches was slightly increased,which was close to the statistical significance.(Dunnett-t =1.86,P ＞ 0.05).With the progress of the AD,all of the hippocampus vein's length,diameter,and branches were reduced significantly(the Dunnett-t of the moderate were-10.10,-11.40,-2.83,P＜0.05;the Dunnett-tofthe major were-11.69,-14.68,-5.74,P＜ 0.001).AD patients blood vessel diameter,length and cognitive have correlation(r =-0.034 ～-0.517,P ＜0.05,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion The hippocampus vein and cognitive function function change in AD patients happened in the mild stages of disease.An important supplement to the MRI conventional sequences.

Objective To study clinical significance of S-100B protein in umbilical cord blood of asphyxial neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE).Methods Forty-three cases of healthy infants were regarded as control group(group 1).Sixty cases of asphyxial neonates were divided into two groups(44 cases without HIE as group 2;another 16 cases with HIE as group 3).S-100B protein levels in umbilical cord blood of three groups were measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay retrospectively. Objective To investigate the clinical incidence and influence of prostatic calculi on recalcitrant chronic abacterial prostatitis (CAP). Methods During August 2004 and March 2005, a total of 104 men with recalcitrant CAP refractory to multiple prior therapies were included in the study. Severity of symptoms in these patients was defined by the Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index (CPSI). The detection and volume measurement of prostatic calculi, and the measurement of prostate volume were performed by ultrasonography. Associations between severity of symptoms and prostatic calculi were assessed using SNK ?2 tests and Spearman correlation. Results Prostatic calculi were detected in 58 of the 104 men (55.8%), including type Ⅱ calculi (larger, coarser) in 31.7% of cases. Objective To explore the risk factors of esophageal cancer and these factors' interaction Methods 472 new diagnosed cases of esophageal cancer in 2004—2005 and 472 controls were investigated by case-control study. Etiological fractions and interactions between family history of esophageal cancer and other risk factors of esophageal cancer were analyzed. Results The significant independent risk factors included taking hot-meal, preferring pickled-vegetables, preferring dry-rigidity-food, being irritable, drinking polluted-water perennially, family history of esophageal cancer and drinking alcohol a great deal. The etiologic fractions attributable to interaction were 0.855, 0.758, 0.683, 0.464, 0.459, 0.343 and 0.108 respectively. The synergy indexes of family history of esophageal cancer with taking hot-meal and with preferring dry-rigidity-food were both 0.86. Concludes The interactions between family history of esophageal cancer and ill life-behavior-style or drinking polluted-water perennially were particularly significant in the development of esophageal cancer in Dongping County.

Objective: To construct a recombinant adenovirus vector carrying human cytomegalovirus (hCMV) UL144 gene and to explore the biological characteristics of UL144 gene-modified DCs. Methods: The UL144 gene was amplified from hCMV DNA, which was extracted from hCMV-DNA positive serum. The recombinant adenovirus vector carrying hCMV UL144 gene was constructed with AdEasy system and then transfected into HEK293 cells to create recombinant adenovirus Ad-UL144. The expression of inserted gene was identified by RT-PCR. The recombinant adenovirus was then transfected into mice myeloid dendritic cells. The surface proteins of dendritic cells were analyzed by FACS, and cytokines in supernatant were detected by ELISA. T cell proliferation stimulated by gene-modified DC was examined by 3H-TdR uptake assay. Results: The UL144 gene was successfully cloned into the pAdEasy-1 plasmid. The recombinant adenovirus Ad-UL144 was packed in HEK293 cells, with a viral titer of 3×10 10 pfu/ml. DCs infected with AdCMV-UL144 had markedly decreased surface expression of CD80, CD86 and I-Ad (P < 0.01). The contents of TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β were significantly decreased in the supernatant of AdCMV-UL144 modified DCs (P < 0.05). T cell proliferation ability induced by gene-modified DC was obviously lower than in the DC control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion: UL144-modified DCs can maintain a relative immature status, and have reduced stimulating activity upon the proliferation and activation of T cells in vitro.

Objective To investigate the anti-HBs level in 15 years after vaccination in adults and newborns in Beijing and provide the suggestion for the adult hepatitis B (HB) immunization plan.Methods A serological survey was conducted in 6 705 subjects aged > 1 year old by multistage randomized cluster sampling in Beijing during August 2013 to February 2014.The subjects who had received a 3-dose recombination HB vaccine when they were newborns or adults aged ≥15 years old and did not undergo revaccination were selected.Antibody to hepatitis B surface antigen (anti-HBs) titers and positive rates in 15 years after vaccination were evaluated.Results A total of 129 and 463 subjects who were vaccinated in adults and newborns were enrolled in the study.Based on the self-limited rate(30%) of HBV infection among the general population aged 15 to 59 years, anti-HBs positive rates for the subjects vaccinated in adults were estimated to be 58.6%,62.5 % and 48.4% during 0-4, 5-9 and 10-15years after vaccination respectively.The corresponding median of anti-HBs titers were 288.8, 120.6 and 62.6 mIU/mL.The anti-HBs positive rates for the subjects vaccinated in newborns during 0-4, 5-9 and 10-15 years after vaccination were 83.3%, 47.3% and 43.5%, respectively.The corresponding anti-HBs titers were 71.8, 8.9 and 6.7 mIU/mL.Conclusions The protection afforded by primary immunization with recombination vaccine in adults and newborns lasts at least 15 years.
