1.Changes of Nitric Oxide and Endothelin Levels in Children with Lymphoma and Its Clinical Significance

Objective To investigate the changes and clinical signficance of nitric oxide(NO) and endothelin(ET) in children with lymphoma.Methods NO and ET of 39 cases with lymphoma and 33 normal controls were examined by using nitrose reductase method and RIA method.Results Compered to normal controls,NO and ET were higher in children with lymphoma;smilar to normal controls in complete remission(CR) and partial remission(PR);relapse cases were higher than remission.Conclusions NO and ET could have relation to lymphoma in children,testing the changes of NO and ET have signficanc to the assistant diagnosis,observeing effect and judging prognosis.

ObjectiveTo observe changes of calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) and aetylcholinesterase (AChE) in motor endplate (MEP) after complete spinal cord injury (SCI) in the rat.MethodsSCI model of Wistar rats were established by transecting T10 spinal cord completely. The venters of the tibial anterior muscle were taken at 1, 2, 4 and 8 weeks postoperatively to carry out the experiment.The changes of CGRP and AChE in the MEP were investigated with immunohistochemical test.ResultsAfter complete SCI, the quantity and distribution of CGRP decreased in MEP of 1-week sample, and the changes of AChE were observed until 4-week sample, and although the staining was light and sparse, CGRP and AChE existed in MEP during 2 months postoperatively.ConclusionThere is degeneration of MEP in skeletal muscle after upper motor neuron injury; CGRP and AChE are related to the degeneration of MEP; CGRP test can show the changes of MEP earlier.
5.Diagnostic value of 16-slices CT in urinary calculus

ObjectiveTo explore the diagnostic value of 16-slices CT in urinary calculus. Methods25 cases of suspected urinary calculus were examined by 16-slices CT and some of these images were reconstructed with MPR. ResultsIn the 25 casces CT found 21cases of urinary calculus,among them kidney calculus 22 cases,urinary tract calculus 13 cases.In 5 of 21 cases,urinary calculus were not found with US.In all 6 cases urinary calculus were not detected by KUB and/or IVP. Conclusion16-slices CT was a valuable method in diagnosing urinary calculus.

7.Realization of Heart Sound Envelope Extraction Implemented on LabVIEW Based on Hilbert-Huang Transform.

We proposed a research of a heart sound envelope extraction system in this paper. The system was implemented on LabVIEW based on the Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT). We firstly used the sound card to collect the heart sound, and then implemented the complete system program of signal acquisition, pretreatment and envelope extraction on LabVIEW based on the theory of HHT. Finally, we used a case to prove that the system could collect heart sound, preprocess and extract the envelope easily. The system was better to retain and show the characteristics of heart sound envelope, and its program and methods were important to other researches, such as those on the vibration and voice, etc.

9.Denoising of Fetal Heart Sound Based on Empirical Mode Decomposition Method.

Fetal heart sound is nonlinear and non-stationary, which contains a lot of noise when it is colleced, so the denoising method is important. We proposed a new denoising method in our study. Firstly, we chose the preprocessing of low-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 200 Hz and the resampling. Secondly, we decomposed the signal based on empirical mode decomposition method (EMD) of Hilbert-Huang transform, then denoised some selected target components with wavelet soft threshold adaptive noise cancellation algorithm. Finally we got the clean fetal heart sound by combining the target components. In the EMD, we used a mask signal to eliminate the mode mixing problem, used mirroring extension method to eliminate the end effect, and referenced the stopping rule from the research of Rilling. This method eliminated the baseline drift and noise at once. To compare with wavelet transform (WT), mathematical morphology (MM) and the Fourier transform (FT), the SNR was improved obviously, and the RMSE was the minimum, which could satisfy the need of the practical application.
