Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2015;(12):1402-1410
Objective To analyze the data of concentric (c) and eccentric (e) peak torque of hamstring (H) and quadricep (Q) in differ-ent gender and angle after 4-week concentric and eccentric isokinetic exercise training on knee, in order to provide suggestions for the knee extensor and flexor in rehabilitation exercise prescription. Methods 28 healthy college students from May to June 2014 in our college partic-ipated in maximum concentric (n=14) or eccentric (n=14) resistance training of the right knee extensors and flexors 3 times per week for 4 weeks. The concentric strength was measured with BIODEX isokinetic dynamometer assessment system 4 at 30 °/s, 60 °/s, 90 °/s, and ec-centric strength was measured at 60 °/s, 120 °/s, 180 °/s. PT, H/Q (He/Qc, Hc/Qc) ratio and H/H (He/Hc) or Q/Q(Qe/Qc) ratio were ana-lyzed. Results Concentric isokinetic training could improve the Hc and He at 60 °/s and 90 °/s (P<0.05), and the Qe and Qc increased at 30 °/s, 60 °/s, 90 °/s respectively (P<0.01). There was no significant improvement after eccentric training (P>0.05). After concentric isokinet-ic training, the He/Qc ratio decreased at 90 °/s (P<0.05), the Hc/Qc ratio decreased at 30 °/s (P<0.05). However, there was no difference in He/Qc and Hc/Qc after eccentric contraction (P>0.05). The Qc/Qe ratio increased at 60 °/s and 90 °/s (P<0.05), and the Hc/He ratio de-creased at 90 °/s (P<0.05) after concentric training. There was no difference in Hc/He and Qc/Qe after eccentric contraction (P>0.05). There were significant differences in Hc, He, Qc, Qe and He/Qc ratio between different genders (P<0.05). Conclusion Concentric training and ec-centric training have different influences on the muscle strength after 4 weeks training. Eccentric training only can reduce the knee stability. Hc/He ratio and Qc/Qe ratio can be used to evaluate the knee muscle function. Gender should be considered into training.

ObjectiveTo develop a stable model of focal cerebral infarction in rat to study the curative effect of neural stem cells transplantation.MethodsThirty-seven rats were selected which were divided into two groups in random, experimental group and control group. The focal infarction model was developed by the ligation of the left middle cerebral artery followed by the ligation of the ipsilateral common carotid artery and the temporary clip occlusion of the contralateral common carotid artery for 1.5 h. The operation adopted minimally invasive craniotomy though temporal bone. The model was evaluated by examining the neurologic deficits, ink perfusion, TTC staining and Magnetic Resonance imaging.ResultsAll the rats were in good condition after the operation, the mortality rate was 6.25% after 4 weeks. Ink perfusion and TTC staining confirmed that the ischemia was confined to the cortex. The areas of infarction measured 83.52 mm3 by Magnetic Resonance imaging after 4 weeks.ConclusionA stable focal cerebral infarction model can be achieved by minimally invasive craniotomy. It is superior for its homogeneity of infarction volume and site, and its low mortality. It can be used for the study of transplantation of neural stem cells.

Chinese Journal of Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases 2006;0(06):-
Objective To explore the risk factors for inguinal hernia in children. Methods A 1:1 matched case-control study which based on hospital group data was carried out.201 cases aged 0~6 years with inguinal hernia and controls were enrolled, and their parents were investigated with questionaire.Conditional logistic regression model was used for single factor and multivariate factoranalysistoestimateoddsratios(OR) and the 95% eonfidence interval(95% CI).Results Inguinal hernia was related to ehildren ' s constipation(0R=3.520,95%CI:1.238~10.015),children's cry(OR=6.532,95%CI:2.651~16.091),mother ate pickles(OR=2.529, 95%CI:1.271~5.031) and maternal anemia(OR=6.809,95%CI:2.530~18.322) during the period of one month before pregnancy and the first 3 months of gestation, the children's family history of inguinal hernia(OR=I 1.250,95%CI:4.766~26.553).Conclusion Children's constipation, children's cry, maternal anemia and eating pickles during the period of one month before pregnancy and the first 3 months of gestation, children ' s family history of inguinal hernia are the risk factors for children' s inguinal hernia.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1994;0(04):-
Objective To explore the correlation between serum brain natriuretlc peptide(BNP) and cardiac function in children with pneumonia. Methods Fifty-two children with pneumonia were seleated.Among them 20 were complicated with congestive heart failure(CHF),including 9 boys and 11 girls, their ages ranging from 4 months to 4 years old;and 32 cases non-complicated with CHF,including 17 boys and 15 girls, their ages ranging from 5 months to 6 years old.Besides, there were 30 healthy children as control group, including 16 boys and 14 girls, their ages ranging from 6 months to 5 years old.For all the children, their serum BNP was measured by using ELISA met-hod,and CK-MB was measured by automatic biochemistry analyzer. In the sametime, their cardial function was measured by echocardiography. Results In the children with pneumonina complicated with CHF,the levels of serum BNP[(182.45?57.32) ng/L] and CK-MB [(48.19?16.08) IU/L] were higher than those of healthy control group[(35.12?13.84) ng/L,(11.48?4.29) IU/L Pa0.05).The levels of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricle shortening fraction(FS),peak flow velocity of arteriae arota(PFVA),peak flow velocity of pulmonary artery(PFVP) in the children with pneumonia complicated with CHF were lower than those of healthy control group(Pa0.05).There was a positive correlation between the levels of serum BNP and CK-MB(r=0.28 P0.05).Conclusion The levels of serum BNP may be an important index in diagnosis of infant pneumonia complicated with CHF.

Chinese Journal of Medical Ultrasound (Electronic Edition) 2013;(9):56-59
Objective To explore the value of prenatal diagnosis and sonographic features of lenticulostriate vasculopathy (LSV). Methods Prenatal ultrasonographic features of three cases of fetal lenticulostriate vasculopathy were retrospectively analysed associated with maternal TORCH screen, fetal magnetic resonance imaging, neonatal physical examination and TORCH screen. Results Prenatal sonographic diagnosis of case 1 demonstrated fetal LSV as well as fetal growth restriction (FGR), periventricular hemorrhage, mitral and tricuspid regurgitation, hydropericardium and catatact. Prenatal sonographic diagnosis of case 2 demonstrated fetal LSV, FGR, periventricular hemorrhage, mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. Prenatal sonographic diagnosis of case 3 showed fetal LSV and intraventricular hemorrhage. Maternal TORCH screens of case 1 and case 3 was negative, while in case 2 was positive. Neonatal examinations of case 1 showed cataract, hearing impairment and congenital infection. Case 3 showed prompted retinal hemorrhage, sinus bradycardia, hyperbilirubinemia and congenital infection. In case 2, maternal teratogenic pathogen screen was positive and the baby did not survive because the mother decided to stop pregnancy in 34 weeks. Conclusions Fetal LSV could be imaged by prenatal ultrasonography. Fetal LSV might indicate intrauterine infection when other abnormalities were accompanied. Ultrasound might be useful for the cases with negative maternal TORCH screen results.
