After 28 foreign species of AM fungi were inoculated in sterilized soil, the effects of the AM mycorrhizal colonization and the medicine quality of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis were observed by combination of inoculation test in pot at room temperature and instrumental analysis. The results showed that, compared with control group (CK), the inoculation of foreign AM fungi in the soil influenced the spore density, mycorrhizal infection rate, and colonization intensity of AM fungi in root system of P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis. The inoculation of foreign AM fungi enhanced the mycorrhiza viability of P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis by increasing the activity of succinic dehydrogenase (SDH) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) in intraradical hyphae. The content of single steroid saponin in rhizome of P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis showed variation after P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis was inoculated by different foreign species of AM fungi, which was beneficial for increasing the medicine quality; however, the kinds of steroid saponin showed no difference. In a degree, there was a selectivity of symbiosis between P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis and foreign AM fungi. And we found that the Claroideoglomus claroideum and Racocetra coralloidea were best foreign AM fungi species for cultivating P. polyphylla var. yunnanensis under field condition.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2009;29(6):1115-1118
OBJECTIVETo investigate the changes of the mRNA expressions of myocardial cytoskeletal proteins in endotoxemic rats.
METHODSThirty-seven Wistar rats were randomized into two groups with injection of 10 mg/kg lipopolysaccharide (LPS) or normal saline through the femoral vein. The cardiac function of the rats was monitored continuously for 24 h, and the morphological changes of the cardiac myocytes were observed with HE staining and electron microscope. The mRNA levels of myocardial cytoskeletal proteins including actin, tubulin and desmin were determined by RT-PCR.
RESULTSNo significant difference was found in the number of CD3(+)T lymphocytes in the TILs between different groups. After the immunotherapy, the peLPS injection resulted in significant impairment of the cardiac function and myocardial microstructure of the rats with reduced heart rate and left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP). The mRNA expression of actin in the cardiac myocytes measured by fluorescence optical density was reduced significantly 8 h after LPS injection, and that of tubulin was decreased significantly 24 h after LPS treatment; desmin mRNA expression showed no significant variation after LPS injection.
CONCLUSIONLPS can significantly impair the cardiac function of the rats possibly by inducing damages of the myocardial cytoarchitecture and causing changes in the mRNA expressions of such cytoskeletal proteins as actin and tubulin.

Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2000;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the proliferation and differentiation characteristics of fibroblast like synovial cells(FLS)in rheumatoid arthritis(RA)in vitro and the mechanism of the immunosuppressive effect of differentiation inducers, such as all trans retinoid acid(ATRA), ealcitriol [1,25(OH)_2D_3] and dexamethasone(DEX). Methods FLS of knee synovial tissues from RA patients were cultured and identified in vitro in the presence or absence of ATRA, 1,25(OH)_2D_3 and DEX respectively. Synoviocyte proliferation in RA were measured by MTT colorimetrie assay and the survival fraction(SF)of FLS was evaluated. Cell cycle of FLS was observed using fluorescence-activated cell sorting(FCS)method in RA patients. Results The identified synovial cells in patients with RA were FLS(Vimentin and Fibronectin expression was positive), and hadn't been transformed or differentiated to adipocytes and osteoblasts with the three inducers. The SF of all RA-FLS interfered by ATRA, 1,25(OH)_2D_3 and DEX was much lower than that without drugs vehicle group in RA-FLS(P
