Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2006;0(05):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate the advantages of nicardipine induced hypotension in endoscopic sinus surgery.METHODS Eighty patients underwent endoscopic sinus surgery under general anesthesia were randomly assigned into two groups(n=40 each):Group A(Enflurane Group), Group B (Nicardipine Group). The effect of controlled hypotension was compared between the two groups. The changes of MAP, HR were recorded during induced hypotension, the time of induction, maintenance and recovery in induced hypotension were recorded.RESULTS 1.The induced hypotension induction time in group A was significant shorter than that in group B, BP recovery time in group A was obviously longer than that in group B (P
2.Comparative study on performance parameters and application for two kinds of fixed materials and instruments in orthopedics
China Medical Equipment 2017;14(7):48-51
Objective: To investigate and analyze the biomechanics characteristics of different fixed materials and instruments in orthopedics and their application in patients so as to provide references for enhancing the effective application of fixed materials in orthopedics. Methods: 60 different fixed materials and instruments in orthopedics were divided into two groups (30 pieces in shape memory alloy group and 30 pieces in stainless steel group) according to their texture. The biomechanics performance of these materials were compared. At the same time, 60 patients received intra fixed surgery were selected and Logistics regression was implemented to analyze the effect factors of infection after fixed material was implanted in body. Finally, the relative ameliorative measures were formulated depended on the results of testing. Results: For biomechanics characteristics of fixed materials, memory alloy was significantly better than stainless steel. The stress shielding of fixed plate by using memory alloy was significantly better than that of stainless steel. The infection situations of 60 patients who received implanted instrument revealed that 30 cases were infection and 30 cases were not infection. After instruments were implanted, the effect factors of infection were analyzed and its results revealed that the standard degree of sterile operation, serious degree of admittance for instrument, the standard degree of sterilization for instrument and preparation degree of instrument were negative correlation with the infection situation after the instruments were implanted in body. Conclusion: The improvement of different fixed materials not only can enhance the resistance to corrosion for material and biocompatibility, but also should pay attention to sterilization of instrument, sterile operation, admittance situation of instrument and preparation for instrument so as to reduce infection rate after instrument is implanted in body and ensure the safety of orthopedic surgery.

This paper outlines the major animal epidemic emergency management system in the United States, involving the responsibilities of United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Department of Health and Human Services ( DHHS ) .Besides the main commanding and coordinating departments, the system also involves procedures in surveillance, early warning, preparation, response and ending in case of serious animal emergency. We have also summarized and analyzed the characteristics of the American response mode, such as net-worked laboratories, special corps, budgets and national animal identification systems.

Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2015;38(2):73-75
Microfluidic chip exhibit a great promising development in clinical diagnosis and disease screening due to their advantages of precise controlling of fluid flow, requirement of mini amount sample, rapid reaction speed and convenient integration.A lot of demonstrations on the diagnostic applications related to genes, proteins, and cells have been reported because of their advantages associated with miniaturization and automation. Here, the applications and developments of on-chip nucleic acid amplification and analysis, protein analysis and detection, cell selection and cell drug screening were discussed.Microfluidic chip can provide an easy integration platform for biomarkers in a high throughput and accurate detection.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2003;1(2):54-55
Objective To observe the effect of clapping acupoint on hyperosteogeny of lumbar vertebra. Methods Ninety-eight cases were randomly divided into 65 cases treated by clapping Ashi point in treatment group and 33cases treated by simple acupuncture in control group. Results Among 65 cases in treatment group, 52 cases were cured and 13 cases were not cured; of 33 cases in control group, 19 cases were cured and 14 cases were not cured, and there had significant difference in cure rate between the two groups, x2 =5.51, P <0.05. Conclusion Treatment of hyperosteogeny by clapping acupoint was better than simple acupuncture therapy.

Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(06):-
There are some widely discussed issues on xenotransplatation, such as animals'moral rights, allocation of medical resources and endangering public health, etc. The article raises four critical ethical issues, e.g. harm-benefit thresholds, informed consent from research patients, informed consent from third-party groups and oversight and approval of clinical trials as the prerequisites to initiation of clinical trials of xenotransplatation.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of bronchoalveolar lavage(BAL) in treating serious pulmonary infections from surgical therapy. Methods The clinical data of 56 patients with serious pulmonary infections from surgical treatment were retrospectively investigated. 29 patients in the fibrobronchoscopy group(FBG) received treatment of BAL, 27 patients in the non-fibrobronchoscopy group(NFBG) were used as control. Results The total efficacious rate in the FBG and NFBG was 86.21% and 59.25%, respectively(P

Objective To investigate if lidocaine can alleviate the behavioral disorder, learning and memory dysfunction and neuropathological lesions induced by cerebral microsphere embolism. Methods Sixty-five healthy male Wistar rats weighing 210-270 g were randomly divided into 5 groups: 2 microsphere groups (n= 14 each) , 2 lidocaine pretreatment groups (n=12, 13) and control group (n= 8) . The animals were anesthetized with isoflurane, 60% nitrous oxide and O2 . In the microsphere groups 600 or 900 microspheres were injected into right internal carotid artery. In the lidocaine pretreatment groups a bolus of lidocaine 1.5 mg?kg-1 was given via femoral vein 30 min before microsphere injection followed by lidocaine infusion at 2 mg?kg-1?h-1 until 1h after microsphere injection. In control group vehicle without microsphere was injected. The behavior score was recorded every day from the 1st to 7th day after microsphere injection. The Morris water maze test was performed 3 times a day starting from the 8th to 12th day after microsphere injection. The animals were sacrificed after the last water maze test. Brains were removed for microscopic examination of the hippocampus CA1 region. Results (1) The behavioral scores (0 = no typical signs, 9 = worst results) decreased with time after embolism in all groups and were significantly higher in the microsphere and lidocaine groups than in control group. They were significantly higher in microsphere group 2 than in microsphere group 1 and the two lidocaine groups (P
