In order to determine the challenge dose of pigeon paramyxovirus type 1 (PPMV-1) inactivated vaccine (S-1 strain). The virus titer of PPMV-1 E5 allantoic fluid (Chuansha strain) was determined using SPF chicken embryos in this research. After inoculating 30-day-old and 120-day-old pigeons with low-HI antibody against PPMV-1 (HI antibody < or =2) with different doses of PPMV-1 (Chuansha strain), the clinical symptoms and histopathological lesions of the challenged pigeons were examined. The results showed that the minimal lethal dose (MLD) of PPMV-1 (Chuansha strain) was 102.5 ELD50, so we determined that 10(5.5) ELD50, which was 1000 times the MLD, could be taken as the challenge dose in the vaccine efficacy test for PPMV-1 inactivated vaccine (S-1 strain).

Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2011;20(2):173-176
Objective To investigate the role of Akt signal pathway on the expression of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 ( MCP-1 ) and nuclear transcription factor-κB (NF-κB) in renal tubular epithelial cells (HK-2) stimulated by albumin and to explore the mechanisms of action. Method The HK-2 cells were incubated in the presence of albumin (5,15,30 mg/mL) with or without Ly294002 (an inhibitor of Akt). Expression of mRNA was analyzed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).Expression of Akt and protein MCP-1 were assessed by Western blot. Electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) was used to detect the activation of NF-κB. q-test was used to evaluate the differences in means between groups. Results Compared with control group, the expression of MCP-1 mRNA remarkly increased. [Control group: 0.233 ±0.01; BSA(5 mg/mL) group: 0.285 ±0.04; BSA( 15 mg/mL) group:0.387 ± 0.02; BSA ( 30 mg/mL) group: 0.473 ± 0.05; BSA ( 30 mg/mL) + Ly294002 group: 0. 325 ±0.05, P < 0.05 ]. The expression of MCP-1 protein in renal interstitum of operation group were remarkly increased too. [ Control group: 100 ± 15.1; BSA ( 5 mg/mL) group: 148 ± 19.3; BSA ( 15 mg/mL) group: 176±20.7; BSA(30 mg/mL) group: 263 ± 18.1; BSA(30 mg/mL) + Ly294002 group: 175 ± 18.0, P <0.05 ]. Albumin stimulated the expression of MCP-1mRNA and protein in a dose-dependent manner. Albumin remarkably increased the activity of NF-κB. Albumin enhanced the expression of Akt. Ly294002 inhibited albumin-induced the expression of NF-κB and partially decreased the level of MCP-1. Apositive correlation was noted between NF-κB activation and MCP-1 expression( r = 0.68 ,P < 0.01 ). Conclusions Albumin-induces MCP-1 and NF-κB production via Akt signal pathway in renal tubular epithelial cells.

In this paper,300 bacteria strains and 31fungi strain were isolated from Qinghai plateau. The numbers of cellulose degradation organisms in soil is 2.6?10 5/g. A strain Trichoderma koningii No.0143 which produces cellulase was isolated from 11 fungi in the east area in QingHai,its FPA activity was 15u/g. It can be used in enzymatic feed.

Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
This study was based on live yeast cell derivative (LYCD), which was produced by live yeast cell stressed with high temperature and H 2O 2. The results showed that pretreating of low dose(37℃and 0.2mmol/L H 2O 2) could increase the content of GSH and the activity of SOD and CAT. These pretreatment could induce the resistance to lethal concentration of H 2O 2. LYCD was produced by yeast treated with 37℃ and 0.2mmol/L H 2O 2. And it was found that the survival of yeast treated with lethal concentration of H 2O 2 obviously increased, while LYCD was added in yeast culture. It indicated that LYCD could have resistance to oxidative condition.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(07):-
Fungal polyketide synthases are responsible for the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites such as pigments, mycotoxins, and they are very important in pharmacology , food science and agriculture. The recent advances in the methods for the isolation and manipulation of multiple classes of polyketide synthase genes from fungi were introduced. It is useful for discovery of novel fungal polyketide synthase gene clusters. These methods can also be useful for revealing the genetic potential of fungi to produce multiple types of bioactive polyketide.

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of tramadol hydrochloride tablets in the control of periodontal pain following ortho-dontic treatment.Methods:76 orthodontic patients were randomly assigned to I,II,III and IV groups according to the different doses of tramadol hydrochloride tablets or placebo(control).Periodontal pain was recorded and analysed by VAS,adverse reaction was ob-served.Results:The pain scores were all lower when teeth were not touching than when teeth were touching.Pain scores of experi-mental group were less than that of the control group,muff-doses are more effective than single-dose.No obvious adverse reaction was found in all group. Conclusion:Tramadol hydrochloride tablet is effective in the control of the pain following orthodontic treatment.
10."""Bioactive Equivalent Combinatorial Components"" as Defined Labeled Amount of Active Constituents for Quality Control of Traditional Chinese Medicines"

World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(3):510-513
Quality control and standardization of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) is the key to its globalization. Generally, there is a common practice to select one or more compounds as chemical markers for the purpose of qual-ity assessment. However, how to select chemical markers and how to set the range of effective concentrations are still the bottleneck. The authors proposed a bioactive equivalent combinatorial components (BECCs) as defined labeled amount of active constituents oriented quality control strategy of TCMs based on years of research work. Focusing on the relationship between chemical components efficacy and quality of TCMs, this strategy provides a new perspective and methods to improve quality control of TCMs.
