Purpose To investigate the expression of secreted frizzled-related protein 4 (SFRP4) and to evaluate its clinical significance in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).Methods RT-PCR was performed to analyze SFRP4 mRNA expression level in 30 paired PDAC lesion and matched adjacent non-tuimor tissue.Immunohistochemistry staining detection of 205 matched cases tissue microarray was conducted to explore SFRP4 protein expression pattern.The correlation between SFRP4 and clinical characteristics was also analyzed,including overall survival.Results SFRP4 expression pattern both at mRNA and protein level in PDAC lesion was higher than that in matched adjacent non-tumor tissue.At mRNA level,to found that expression of SFRP4 was elevated in 90％ (27/30) of PDAC tissues (P =0.007 2).To found that high expression of SFRP4 was detected in 56.5％ (116/205) of PDAC tissue,while only 28.8％ (59/205) in the adjacent non-tumor tissue.Moreover,no significant association was observed between SFRP4 expression and clinical characteristics.Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed high level of SFRP4 expression was correlated with poor overall survival (x2 =3.467,P =0.024).Conclusion SFRP4 can be a novel prognostic biomarker in PDAC.

Objective: To systematically evaluate risk factors for cardiometabolic multimorbidity (CMM), so as to provide the evidence for formulating CMM prevention and control strategies. Methods: Publications pertaining to the risk factors for CMM were retrieved from databases, including SinoMed, CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, PubMed and Cochrane Library from inception to March 31, 2023. Meta-analysis was performed using the software RevMan 5.4 and Stata 16.0, and sensitivity analysis was performed using the leave-one-out method. The publication bias was evaluated using Egger's test. Results: Totally 494 publications were screened, and 20 publications were included in the final analysis, including 13 cohort studies (covering 1 940 000 participants) and 7 cross-sectional studies (covering 13 000 000 participants). Meta-analysis revealed that female (OR=1.54, 95%CI: 1.40-1.71), middle age (OR=3.80, 95%CI: 3.33-4.34), elderly (OR=2.82, 95%CI: 1.48-5.37), urban resident (OR=1.41, 95%CI: 1.27-1.57), higher education level (OR=2.01, 95%CI: 1.35-3.01), higher economic level (OR=1.21, 95%CI: 1.16-1.25), overweight (OR=1.92, 95%CI: 1.64-2.26), obesity (OR=3.01, 95%CI: 2.30-3.93), central obesity (OR=1.70, 95%CI: 1.12-2.56), smoking (OR=1.27, 95%CI: 1.07-1.51), alcohol consumption (OR=1.27, 95%CI: 1.01-1.59), irregular diet (OR=1.10, 95%CI: 1.02-1.18), insufficient intake of vegetables and fruits (OR=1.12, 95%CI: 1.07-1.17), lack of sleep at night (OR=1.17, 95%CI: 1.08-1.27), and depression (OR=1.50, 95%CI: 1.33-1.69) were risk factors for CMM. Sensitivity analysis of effects of central obesity and alcohol consumption were not robust. No publication bias was examined by Egger's test. Conclusions Female, middle age, elderly, urban resident, higher education level, higher economic level, overweight, obesity, central obesity, smoking, alcohol consumption, irregular diet, insufficient intake of vegetables and fruits, lack of sleep at night and depression are risk factors for CMM.

Objective To aim at the problem of bedsore which is always occurred on the crowd of the aging population,empty-nest family and the disabled patients etc,a two-way side turn over mechanism for intelligent sanitation nursing instrument is designed.Methods The turn over angle of the mechanism was analyzed and calculated after establishing the mechanism's three-dimensional model.The forces situation of the state of lying,side lean against and left/right side turn over were carried out through finite element analysis by using of Pro/Mechanica.Results The results showed that the sum of two-way side turn over mechanism's two-way side turn over angle was 30 degrees.The materials met the mechanism's force requirement.Conclusions The results can provide a theoretical basis for the designer to determine the structure parameters and sizes of mechanism.

Objective To explore the predictive value of serum soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1 (sFlt-1) and vascular endothelia growth factor (VEGF) levels in preeclampsia at second trimester. Methods Serum sFlt-1,VEGF concentrations were determined in 172 initial normal pregnant women at 26-28 gestation week.The outcomes of pregnancies were followed.In a cohort of 172 pregnant women, 16 cases of preeclampsia were developed (preeclampsia group),and 156 cases were with no complication (control group).Results The serum levels of sFlt-1 in preeclampsia group (11.4?6.2)?g/L were significantly higher than that in control group(4.5?2.1)?g/L(P＜0.01).The serum levels of sFlt-1 in precelampsia women with the onset before 32 gestation week and fetal growth retardation,(14.0?6.8)?g/L,(14.4?6.7)?g/L were significantly higher than that in women with the onset after 32 gestation week and with no fetal growth retardation (9.0?4.1)?g/L,(8.9?4.0)?g/L,respectively (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the serum levels of VEGF between preeclampsia group and control group.A sFlt-1 cutoff value of 8.75?g/L at 26-28 gestation week yielded a sensitivity of 87.5%,specificity of 97.4%,positive predictive value of 80.0%,negative predictive value of 88.5%,respectively,for subsequent onset of preeclampsia.Conclusion Maternal serum sFlt-1 concentration at second trimester can be used as an early predictive marker of preeclampsia.

Objective: To study the chemical constituents in the dry roots of Dolomiaea souliei (Franch.) Shih.Methods: Various chromatographic methods were used to isolate and purify the chemical constituents of Dolomiaea souliei, and the structures were elucidated through the analysis of spectral data and literatures.Results: Six compounds including 3 sesquiterpene compounds and 3 fatty acids were obtained and identified as dihydrodehydrocostuslactone(Ⅰ), vladimenal(Ⅱ), arbusculin A(Ⅲ), n-hendecane(Ⅳ), butanedioic acid(Ⅴ) and methyl linoleate(Ⅵ).Conclusion: Compounds Ⅳ-Ⅵ are obtained from the genus of Dolomiaea for the first time.

Objective To investigate retrospective analysis on serological detection of hepatitis viruses in physical examination population.Methods Hepatitis A virus (HAV)IgM,HBsAg,HCV IgG,HDV IgM,HEV IgM and HEV IgG were detected by ELISA assay in physical examination population during 2009~2014.Results The positive rate of HAV IgM was 0.15%(2/1 315)in 1 315 physical examinees and that of HBsAg was 2.83% (3 360/109 965)in 109 965 ones during 2009~2014. The positive rates of HBsAg decreased trend in the last 6 years in general (χ2 =63.070,P =0.001).There was no signifi-cant difference for HBsAg positive rate among male physical examinees in last six years (χ2 =4.804,P =0.441),but the positive rate of HBsAg in female population decreased trend in the last 6 years in general (χ2 =18.046,P =0.003),moreo-ver the positive rate of HBsAg in male popolation was significantly higher than that in female ones (χ2 =126.9,P =0.000). The positive rate of HCV IgG was 0.79% (333/41 898)in 41 898 physical examinees during 2009~2014 and that decreased trend in last 6 years (χ2 = 18.380,P =0.003).There was no HDV IgM detected in 1 079 physical examinees serum.The positive rate of HEV IgM and IgG were 0.25% (3/1 195)and 3.93% (47/1 195)respectively in 1 195 physical examinees. Conculsion The physical examination population during 2009~2014 were mainly infected by HBV and HCV and the infec-tion rate decreased trendly in last 6 years,which provided important data for epidemiology of serological hepatitis viruses in Shaanxi provice.

Objective To investigate the effect on and mechansm by which prostaglandin E_1(PGE_1)protects liver functions after hepatectomy.Methods In this study,82 cases undergoing hepatectomy were divided randomly into control group with conventional therapy(41 cases),and PGE_1 treatment group(41 cases)treated with liposomal prostaglandin E_1 in addition to conventional therapy.Postoperative hospital days,urinary volume and abdominal drainage volume were observed.Pre-and postoperative liver functions were measured.Results Postoperative hospital days(median time 22 days)in PGE_1 treatment group were significantly shorter than those(median time 26 days)in control group.The postoperative levels of alanine transaminase,aspartic transaminase,total bilirubin and albumen in PGE_1 treatment group recovered to preoperative levels more quickly,than control group.Postoperative urinary volume in patients of PGE_1 treatment group was significantly more than that in control group,while abdominal drainage volume was markedly less,although there was no significant difference in prothrombin time between the two groups.Conclusion In patients undergoing hepatectomy,PGE_1 is very useful and safe to protect and improve hepatic function,decreasing the level of bilirubin,preventing ascites,formation shortening hospital days,without causing prolongation of prothrombin time remarkably.
