Objective To explore the biological characteristics and karyotype of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)and hematopoietic sup- port of MSCs.Methods MSCs were isolated from bone marrow of 11 SLE patients and 6 healthy controls by density centrifugation and adhesive culture in vitro.The surface markers were detected by flow cytometry (FCM).The morphological changes of MSCs were observed in primary and passage cultures.The growth curves were assayed.The karyotype of MSCs was detected by blocking cellular mitosis with colchicines.The MSCs from SLE patients and healthy controls were infused to ICR mice after high-dose chemotherapy.The changes of peripheral blood counts of the mice were recorded.Results Approximately(6～9)?10~9 MSCs from SLE were obtained after 5 passages and their growth was slower than normal controls(P＜0.01).Both groups were positive for CD29,CD44 and CD105,and negative for CD14,CD34,CD45 and HLA-DR.MSCs from SLE had a normal karyotype.MSCs infusions of the two groups were accompanied by no adverse event and the recovery of white blood cell,hemoglobin and platelet count was quicker when compared with the controls(P＜0.05).Conclusion MSCs from SLE have demonstrated abnormalities in expansion in vitro.MSCs from SLE have a normal karyotype.Ex vivo MSCs infusion from SLE patients can support hematopoiesis as normal MSCs.

Objective To study the expression of substance P(SP) and substance P receptor(SPR) during the development of mice brains. Methods The expression of SP and SPR during the development of mice brains from embryonic day(E) 11 to postnatal day(P) 0 days was analyzed by immunohistochemical method. Results The expression of SP began at E11 and gradually increased until birth. The expression of SPR began at E11 and maintained stable expression until birth. SP mostly expressed at striatum and SPR mostly expressed at medullary raphe.Conclusion The expression of SP and SPR during the embryo brain stage may indicate that SP could be an important factor involved in the early organization and maturation of neuron.

Abstract: In recent years, the HIV prevention intervention strategy has had a positive effect on reducing the HIV infection prevalence in China. HIV non-occupational post-exposure prophylaxis (nPEP) has become an effective measure to prevent HIV for men who have sex with men (MSM) exposed to possible risks. From the perspective of the "knowledge, attitude, and practice" theory, domestic and overseas scholars used outpatient data and questionnaires to investigate the awareness, attitude, usage, medication, follow-up, and drug prescription of HIV nPEP among MSM in China. This article reviewed the above-mentioned and found that the overall awareness rate of HIV nPEP among MSM in China is high with a positive attitude, but the actual utilization rate is very low. On a regional level, their follow-up after the medication is not ideal despite good medication. Drug prescription varies between different regions domestically. The prescription rate of tenofovir + emtricitabine + raltegravir is the highest, followed by the prescription rate of tenofovir + emtricitabine + dolutegravir, and tenofovir + lamivudine + dolutegravir. In the future, researchers should expand the number of study objects and the scope of the research sites in China, analyze the "knowledge, attitude, and practice" of HIV nPEP, medication follow-up, and medication prescription among MSM, and increase the research on HIV nPEP service areas to provide the reference for further formulating and refining the comprehensive HIV prevention intervention strategy among MSM in China.

Objective: To learn HIV related stigma and its associated factors among the patients on antiretroviral therapy ( ART ) in Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, so as to provide evidence for eliminating HIV discrimination. Methods: A total of 419 subjects were recruited by convenience sampling from three ART clinics in Wenshan City and Maguan County between October 2017 and January 2018. HIV/AIDS Related Stigma and Discrimination Scale developed by Li Xianhong et al was employed. The multivariate linear regression model were used to explore the influencing factors for HIV stigma. Results: The median scores of disclosure concern, public rejection, family stigma, internalized stigma, health service providers＇ stigma were 24.00, 6.00, 10.00, 20.00, 2.00, respectively, and the overall was 68.00. The multivariate linear regression analysis showed that female patients ( standardized β=0.135 ) , patients with opportunistic infection ( standardized β=0.120 ), patients had no HIV infected family member ( standardized β=-0.128 ) , patients without family support ( standardized β=-0.175 ) , patients received gift from ART clinics ( standardized β=0.124 ) , patients scored lower in ART knowledge ( standardized β=-0.117 ) were likely to scored higher in HIV stigma. Conclusions The stigma on disclosure concern and internalized stigma dimensions are grievous among ART patients in Wenshan Prefecture. Gender, opportunistic infection, HIV infection in family, family support, receiving incentive gifts from clinics and awareness of ART are associated with HIV stigma.

The paper is about the systematic studies of biological characteristics of 15 stains rhizobia isolated purified from Acacia confusa grew in Guangxi karst environment.The results showed that there were typical characteristics of rhizobia.there were negative reaction about use of 3-ketolactose and beef extract peptone nutrient agar medium,and positive reaction about use of starch and citrate medium,and produce acid in reaction of BTB and litmus milk medium,(NH4)2HPO4 was used as nitrogen sources and both four monosaccharides and three disaccharides could be utilized as carbon sources in 15 strains rhizobia isolated Acacia confuse.Among the 15 strains for the tests,11 strains could deoxidize the nitrate of medium into nitrite,14 strains could grow well on NaCl solution concentration 3.0 %～4.0 %,14 strains could grow at 39℃,13 strains may grow on highest pH12 and 4 strains on lowest pH4 cultrue medium.15 strains can grow in 10% and 11 strains in 10%～30% of CaCO3 solution concentration.

OBJECTIVETo explore the access to tobacco and exam the predictors of successful tobacco purchase attempts among Chinese minors.

METHODSA simulative trial of purchasing cigarettes was participated by 201 sixth grade students to assess the prevalence of illegal cigarette sales to minors in Guangzhou. Methods of Chi-square and unconditional logistic regression were used to identify the significant predictors,with the result of tobacco purchase as the dependent variable and the characteristics of stores, retailers and minors as the independent variables.

RESULTSA total of 165 students succeeded in purchasing cigarettes but 36 failed, and the percentage of successful purchase attempts was 82. 1% . Data from univariate analysis indicated that 9 factors were significantly associated with students' success in purchasing cigarettes. They were age and height of the purchasers, types of stores, seller's gender and age, posting cigarette advertisements,showing warning signs of 'no cigarette selling to minors' ,asking buyer's age,and asking whom you buy the cigarettes for. The results of multivariable analysis showed that only three variables entering the final logistic regression: the age of students, the type of stores, and showing warning signs of 'no cigarette selling to minors'.

CONCLUSIONChinese minors have easy access to purchasing cigarettes, especially in groceries and small markets. Selling cigarettes by sellers to minors should be monitored and managed in the future.

OBJECTIVETo study the clinical efficacy of adjuvant therapy with glucocorticoids in children with lobar pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae.

METHODSOne hundred and eight children with lobar pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae were randomly divided into routine treatment and hormone treatment groups. Both groups were treated with azithromycin and other symptomatic therapies. In addition to the basic treatment, the hormone treatment group was given dexamethasone 0.25-0.3 mg/(kg·d) by intravenous drip until the body temperature was normal. Then given oral prednisone tablets 0.5-1 mg/(kg·d) (gradually reduced) for a total treatment course of 7-10 days. Before and after treatment pulmonary functions were examined, and serum C-reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), interleukin-2 (IL-2) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) were measured.

RESULTSThe duration of fever, cough relief time and pulmonary shadow absorption time on chest X-ray were significantly shorter in the hormone treatment group than in the routine treatment group (P<0.05). After treatment, the two groups showed improvements in serum CRP, ESR, IL-2, and IL-6 (P<0.05), but the hormone treatment group showed significantly more improvement (P<0.05). Varying degrees of mixed ventilation dysfunction were seen in the two groups before treatment, and hormone therapy significantly improved pulmonary function, especially promoting the recovery of small airway function.

CONCLUSIONSAdjuvant therapy with glucocorticoids can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms, promote the absorption of pulmonary inflammation, and improve pulmonary function in children with lobar pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
