1.Clinical Distribution and Antibiotic Resistance Analysis of Staphylococcus Haemolyticus

Objective To understand clinical specimen hemolysis Staphylococcus (SHA)distribution characteristics and re-sistance and sensitivity to 20 kinds of antibiotics,reasonable to guide the clinical treatment of SHA infection.Methods Rou-tinely cultured and isolated bacteria.Used the United States BD Phoenix-100 automated microbial identification and suscepti-bility instrument to identify bacteria and susceptibility testing,and susceptibility testing all used the instrument broth dilu-tion method,according to the USA CLSI2015 [1]regulations standards.Results 162 strains of SHA from the distribution of age,children under the age was one of the highest (30.9%),and from the distribution department,mainly distributed in ped-iatrics (30.9%),department of critical care medicine (22.2%),medicine (17.3%),surgery (12.3%).From the specimen type distribution,were mainly distributed in the blood (33.3%),sputum (25.9%),wound (11.1%) and discharge (9.9%).In the 162 strains of SHA,the proportion of the MRSH was 93.8%,of which 152 strains of MRSH incidence of multiple drug resistance (MDR)was as high as 61.8%.Compared with MSSH,antibiotic resistance rate of MRSH was sig-nificantly higher.The resistance rate of MRSH to ampicillin,cefoxitin,penicillin G,erythromycin was extremely high,more than 98.7% the former of cefoxitin,penicillin G,ampicillin,erythromycin resistance was extremely high,more than 98.7%. The sensitive rate of both to rina thiazole amine,vancomycin,amikacin was 100%,and the rate to Fusidic acid,teicoplanin, nitrofurantoin was also high,more than 9 5.5%.Conclusion Linezolid,Vancomycin,Amikacin,Fusidic acid,Teicoplanin and Nitrofurantoin because all can be used as empiricaluse of SHA infection,other antibiotics chooses to in addition to drug sen-sitivity tests results.
2.A citation analysis of Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Objective To evaluate the academic level and the popularity of Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (CJPMR). Methods According to the information of Chinese Medical citation Index (CMCI), the amount and distribution of the CJPMR originals cited by the journals included by CMCI was statistically analyzed. Results The percent of cited papers in all published articles was 39.24%, and the average times of each original article cited by other researchers is 2.13. The most frequently cited authors are from 28 provinces, especially from Beijing, Hubei and Guangdong. There are 313 citing journals, and self-citing rate is 0.26. Conclusion CJPMR has published high quality articles, and has the own edition characteristics to keep its steady level of research. It is one of the most important information resources for the physical medicine and rehabilitation researchers and the core journal in the rehabilitation medical research field.
3.The value of laparoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility caused by fallopian tube factors.

Objective To study the value of laparoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility caused by fallopian tube factors. Methods 210 cases of infertility women caused by fallopian tube factors were studied in terms of adhesiolysis,fallopian tube plasty,fenestration,and patency test were performed.The pregnancy rate was followed up for one year. Results The false negative rate in the diagnosis of fallopian tube patency was 5.43% by hysterosalpingography.It was found that there were 3 cases of genital tract tubercle,80 cases of fallopian tube inflammation,73 cases of inflammation of fallopian tube and overy and 54 cases of hydrosalpingix.Of the later 3 kinds,pelvic inflammation was found to be responsible for 120 cases(57.1%),pelvic endometriosis for 87 cases(41.4%).The pregnancy rate after one year was 50.9%(78/153)for inflammation of fallopian tube and ovary,5.6%(3/54)for hydrosalpingix,respectively. Conclusions Laparoscopy helps to clarify infertility caused by fallopian tube factors,and to improvel the effect of treatment and pregnancy rate.
4.Utilization of Antivomiting Drugs in Our Hospital During 2001~2006

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the utilization status and trend of anti-vomiting drugs in our hospital. METHODS: The anti-vomiting drugs used in our hospital during the 2001~2006 were analyzed statistically in respect of drug kinds, dosage forms, consumption sum, DDDs etc. RESULTS: Both the drug kinds and the consumption sum of anti-vomiting drugs increased year by year in our hospital over 6 years, dominating the first place was 5-HT3 antagonists, of which, Ondansetron topped the list in consumption sum for five years and its DDDs ranked at the first place for 4 years. Domestic injections took the lead among all the anti-vomiting drugs. CONCLUSION: Consumption quantity of 5-HT3 antagonists has a rapid increase and which occupy a dominate place in our hospital.
5.Biological characteristics of porous tantalum:short-term application is clinically safe but the long-term effect needs to be further studied

BACKGROUND:Porous tantalum, characterized as high porosity, low elastic modulus, high friction coefficient, stable biological properties, good compatibility and typical structural properties, has been the focus in medicine, especial y in orthopedics. <br> OBJECTIVE:To review the biological characteristics of porous tantalum, including its mechanical properties, compatibility, and biological activity. <br> METHODS:A computer-based search of PubMed, CSTJ, Wanfang and VIP databases was done for articles relevant to porous tantalum published from 1990 to 2014 using the keywords of“porous tantalum, biological character, orthopedic applications”both in English and Chinese. <br> RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Porous tantalum, with high porosity, low elastic modulus, high friction coefficient, and good compatibility, has become increasingly popular in medicine, especial y in orthopedics. At present, porous tantalum is used in the preparation of the integrated acetabular cup, total hip arthroplasty acetabular cup, acetabular reinforcing pad, porous tantalum metal rod, tibial plateau prosthesis and patel ar prosthesis and tibial plateau prosthesis. The short-term fol ow-up of porous tantalum implants in orthopedic surgery has been reported. And clinical data, radiology, histological analysis of the removed material have proved the practicability and safety of the porous tantalum. But the long-term effects of porous tantalum remain to be confirmed.
6.The role of ultrasound guided percutaneous ethanol injection for secondary hyperparathyroidism

Objective To observe and evaluate the effect of ultrasound guided percutaneous ethanol injection for hyperparathyroidism secondary to chronic renal failure. Methods Fifty-three patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism in Nanjing General Hospital Military Command from January 2011 to May 2013 were treated by percutaneous ethanol injection. The echogenicity, size and blood supply of parathyroid glands were observed by color Doppler ultrasound before and after treatment. Parathyroid hormone (PTH) and volumes of parathyroid glands were analyzed and compared with non-paired t test. Results Before treatment, the parathyroid gland volume was (5.28±0.84) cm3. The enlarged parathyroid glands had homogeneous hypoechogenicity and abundant blood supply, and the PTH was (1041.6±37.1) ng/L. After treatment, the size of solitary parathyroid gland was (3.93±0.67) cm3 which did not change significantly compared with that before treatment. The echogenicity of parathyroid glands enhanced and blood supply decreased after injection ethanol into solitary parathyroid. PTH [(509.2±27.6) ng/L] decreased obviously (t=3.792, P < 0.05). Conclusion Color Doppler ultrasound guided percutaneous injection of ethanol has an important role in the treating of secondary hyperparathyroidism and the curative effect can be observed timely.
7.Comparison of different susceptibility testing methods of tigecycline against Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumoniae

Objective To compare different susceptibility testing methods of tigecycline against Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumoniae.Methods Fifty carbapenem-resietant A.baumannii (CRAB) strains and 49 K.pneumoniae strains were collected from Tianjin Medical University General Hospital during January and March 2012.Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and inhibitory zone diameters for tigecycline were determined by broth microdilution,Vitek-2,MTS and disk diffusion methods.The results of Vitek-2,MTS and disk diffusion methods were compared with those of broth microdilution method.Results According to FDA standards,the susceptibilities of CRAB and K.pneumoniae to tigecycline determined by broth microdilution,Vitek-2 and MTS were 94.0%/91.8%,68.0%/91.8% and 90.0%/91.8%,respectively.For CRAB isolates,the essential agreement (EA) and categorical agreement (CA) produced by Vitek-2 and MTS were 94.0%/72.0% and 92.0%/90.0%.MICs determined by Vitek-2 were 1-2 dilutions higher than the reference method in 33 (66.0%) strains,and those determined by MTS were higher in 16 (32.0%) strains and lower in 11 (22.0%) strains.For K.pneumoniae isolates,the EA/CA produced by Vitek-2 and MTS were 95.9%/98.0% and 83.7%/91.8%,respectively.MICs determined by Vitek-2 were 1-3 dilutions lower than the reference method in 17 (34.7%) strains,and those determined by MTS were 1-3 dilutions lower than the reference method in 39 (79.6%) strains.None of thetwo methods produced very major error (VME) and major error (ME) against two kinds of isolates.The results were determined by disk diffusion method using different breakpoints according different isolates.For CRAB,using ≥14 mm/≤ 10 mm as breakpoint,CA was 94.0%,which was higher than the breakpoint recommended by Jones et al (≥16 mm/≤12 mm,CA was 82.0%) ; and for K.pneumoniae,using the ≥ 14 mm/≤ 10 mm as breakpoint,CA was 93.9%,higher than the FDA Enterobacteriaceae breakpoint (≥ 19 mm/≤ 14 mm,CA was 67.3%).Conclusion For CRAB strains,MTS produces better consistence with broth microdilution,with several higher or lower MIC results.For K.pneumoniae strains,Vitek-2 has better correlation with reference method,with several lower MIC results.The consistence between disk diffusion method and broth microdilution is comparatively lower,and the breakpoint should be adjusted according to different bacteria.
8.Digital Renovation of Field X-ray Vehicle

Objective To upgrade the current X-ray vehicle.Methods Modern digital X-ray radiography was analyzed and 3 kinds of X-ray detectors were compared.Canon CXDI digital X-ray detector was used to update field X-ray vehicle into a field digital X-ray radiography vehicle.Results Real-time X-ray signal synchronization was realized.Digital images could be edited and labeled with detection information.Conclusion The working efficiency is enhanced and the support ability is improved.

BACKGROUND:Porous tantalum with high porosity, low elastic modulus, high friction coefficient has stable biological characters and good biocompatibility, which is considered as an ideal implant material in orthopedic surgery. OBJECTIVE:To review the application situation of porous tantalum used in artificial joints, spine, bone necrosis, defects of bone and so on. METHODS:A computer-based search of PubMed, Wanfang, and VIP databases was performed for relevant articles published from 1990 to 2014 using the keywords of “porous tantalum, biological character, orthopedic applications” in English and Chinese. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Porous tantalum is a kind of good orthopedic implant material, with high porosity, low elastic modulus, high friction coefficient, and good compatibility. Porous tantalum is mostly used in the preparation of integrated acetabular cup, total hip arthroplasty acetabular cup, acetabular reinforcing pad, porous tantalum metal rod, tibial plateau prosthesis, patelar prosthesis and tibial plateau prosthesis, which has achieved good clinical effects.
10.Role of AMPK-dependent autophagic signaling pathway in ketamine-induced reduction of diabetic neuropathic pain in rats

Objective To evaluate the role of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK)-dependent autophagic signaling pathway in ketamine-induced reduction of diabetic neuropathic pain (DNP) in rats.Methods Sixty male Wistar rats,aged 3 months,weighing 200-250 g,were equally randomized into 5 groups using a random number table:control group (C group),normal saline group (NS group),ketamine group (K group),ketamine + Compound C group (KC group),and ketamine + 3-methyladenine (3-MA) group (KM group).DNP model was established by intraperitoneal injection of streptozocin (STZ)65 mg/kg in anesthetized rats.Four weeks later,the equal volume of normal saline,ketamine 10 mg/kg,ketamine 10 mg/kg + Compound C1 mg/kg,and ketamine + 3-MA 2 μl were injected intraperitoneally once a day for 7 consecutive days in NS,K,KC and KM groups,respectively.The mechanical paw withdrawal threshold (MWT) was measured on 8th day.The rats were then sacrificed,and the lunbar segment (L1-5) of the spinal cord was removed for determination of the expression of AMPKαt,Beclin-1,microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain (LC) 3B (by Western blot) and dendritic spine density in the dorsal root ganglia.Results Compared with group C,the MWT,expression of AMPKα,Beclin-1,and LC3B,and dendritic spine density were significantly decreased in group NS (P<0.05).Compared with group NS,the MWT,expression of AMPKαt,Beclin-1,and LC3B,and dendritic spine density were significantly increased in group K (P<0.05).Compared with group K,the MWT,expression of AMPKα,Beclin-1,and LC3B,and dendritic spine density were significantly decreased in KC and KM groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Activation of AMPK-dependent autophagic pathway is involved in ketamine-induced reduction of DNP in rats.
