Pelvic exenteration,first line salvage therapy for selected recurrent cervical cancer patients,is accompanied by a high operative mortality and loss of structure and function of pelvic organs.Advances in radiation therapy,especially 3-dimensional brachytherapy and stereotactic body radiotherapy,provide the opportunity to achieve similar efficacy of pelvic exenteration with acceptable complications and protect the structure and function of pelvic organs.

6.MicroRNA and Tumor

MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are small mm-coding RNA molecules that post-transcriptionul-ly regulate gene expression. Advanced studies show that miRNA are involved in cancer. Even some scientists regard miRNAs as oncogenes or tumor associated genes. This review tries to have a brief introduction on the progress in the relationship between miRNAs and tumor's formation,development,diagnosis,therapy and prognosis in humans.
7.Case-control study on individual osteotomy instrument and conventional total knee arthroplasty for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.

OBJECTIVETo compare clinical efficacy of individual osteotomy instrument and total knee arthrolplasty (TKA) in treating patients with knee osteoarthritis.
METHODSFrom June 2014 to December 2014, 40 patients with unilateral knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into two groups and 20 cases were in each group. One group (individual group) were treated with TKA with individual osteotomy instrument,including 5 males and 15 females with an average age of (67.3 ± 6.5) years old; 8 cases on the left side and 12 cases on the right side. Another group (conventional group) were treated with conventional TKA , including 6 males and 14 females with an average age of (66.8 ± 7.3) years old; 9 cases on the left side and 11 cases on the right side. Operative time, blood loss, postoperative HSS score at 6 months, and changes of mechanical alignment before and after operation were analyzed.
RESULTSOperative time in individual group was (79.3 ± 4.7) min, and (83.5 ± 3.2) min in conventional group; blood loss in individual group was (287.1 ± 24.9) ml and (363.4 ± 47.2) ml in conventional group, there were statistical differences between two groups in these two items. There was no significant difference in postoperative HSS score at 6 months between individual group (84.8 ± 3.2) and conventional group (84.2 ± 2.5). Postoperative limb alignment in individual group was (2.8 ± 0.6)°, and (2.8 ± 0.6)° in conventional group, with no significant difference between two groups.
CONCLUSIONTKA with individual osteotomy instrument could reduce operative time and blood loss, but there was no differences in knee function, changes of mechanical alignment compared with TKA.

8.Study of Permeation Enhancers of Shuxiong Cataplasm

Objective To investigate the effect of two kinds of permeation enhancers,azone and clove bud oil,on transdermal permeation of Shuxiong cataplasm. Methods Cataplasm containing azone and clove bud oil,at different concentrations were prepared,with ferulic acid as the index,the role of enhancing permeation of azone and clove bud oil for the main active component were studied by in vitro permeation experiments. Results Both azone and clove bud oil at different concentrations could increase permeation. Clove bud oil was better than azone and the best concentration of Clove bud oil is 3%. Meanwhile,the permeation enhancing multiple of clove bud oil group was the highest which was 3.68. Conclusion With the cumulative permeation quantity of ferulic acid as the index,3% clove bud oil is more suitable to act as a permeation enhancer of Shuxiong cataplasm.
9.Dynamic Changes of Drug Resistance and Infectious Distribution of Pseudomonas aeruginosa

OBJECTIVE To study the dynamic changes of drug resistance and infectious distribution of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and guide drug treatment in clinic.METHODS The susceptibility to 12 antibiotics were detected in 758 P.aeruginosa strains.RESULTS The resistance of P.aeruginosa to 12 antibiotics was increased in the past four years.The resistant rate to imipenem and amikacin was below 25%.The infection caused by P.aeruginosa happened frequently in Department for Cadre,Intensive Care Units(ICU) and Department of Respiration.Among 758 strains of P.aeruginosa,87 strains were identified multi-drug resistant and found more frequently in Department for Cadre,ICU,Department of Respiration and Department of Burn.CONCLUSIONS The drug resistance of P.aeruginosa has become a more serious problem than before.The monitor of drug-resistant P.aeruginosa could guide treatment and provided epidemiologic and dynamic changes data for clinic.The infection of multi-drug resistant P.aeruginosa meets most frequently in patients who received antibiotic treatment for a long time and had a long stay in the hospital.
10.Development of Medical Video Network Real-time Communication System based on SOPC

Objective To develop integrative Medical Video Network Real-time Communication System based on hospital LAN.Methods According to the practical features in clinical application and the design principles of miniaturization and low power waste,SOPC software and hardware design technologies were utilized to design the system hardware,which mainly includes such 5 function modules as A/D conversion,automatic selection of digital interface,video codec,CPU and system control.The system control software,including transmission module,interception module and control module,was designed under embedded system.Results The integrative Medical Video Network Real-time Communication System based on hospital LAN could encode and decode medical video in real-time,and the transmission and reception parts could automatic position without manual setting,thus facilitating network real-time transmission of clinical medical video.Conclusion Completely meeting the requirement of medical video real-time transmission in hospital scientific research,teaching and academic exchanges,Medical Video Network Real-time Communication System supports hospital scientific research and teaching greatly.
