Objective To investigate the effect of Mepilex on pressure sores in patients at lateral position after craniocerebral surgery.Methods Toally 60 patients lying at lateral position after craniocerebral surgery were randomized into two groups in equal number with random digit table:the control group and experiment group.In the control group,Gel pad was used to prevent and treat the pressure sores and in the experiment group Mepilex was used between the compressed skin and operation table before setting the position.The skin conditions of the two groups were observed after operation.Result The prophylactic effect of pressure sore in the experiment group was significantly better than that in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion Mepilex can prevent the skin pressure sores in the patients at lateral position after cerebral surgery.

Objective The autoantibodies against angiotensin Ⅱ type 1 receptor(AT_1 RAb)have been dis- covered in the patients with malignant hypertensive and preeclampsia,this autoantiboies(AT_1-AA)have an ago- nist-like activity effect similar to angiotensin Ⅱ(Ang Ⅱ).This study aimed at investigation the effect of Ang Ⅱ agonist-like activity by AT_1-AA on VSMCs proliferation was obtained from essential hypertensive patients. Objectives To investigate the overall prevalence of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in subjects hospitalized for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD),and explore the prevalence of the major CVD complications and trends in patients with COPD over a 10-year period.Methods Medical records in the PLA General Hospital,Beijing Union Medical College Hospital,and Beijing Hospital from 2000/01/01 to 2010/03/03 were retrospectively reviewed.A total of 4960 patients with COPD were reviewed in the study (3570 males,mean age,72.2 ± 10.5 years; 1390 females,mean age,72.0 ± 10.4 years).Results The prevalence of CVD in COPD patients was 51.7％.The three most prevalent CVDs were ischemic heart disease (28.9％),heart failure (19.6％),and arrhythmia (12.6％).During the 10-year study period,the prevalence of various CVDs in COPD patients showed a gradual increasing trend with increasing age.There was higher morbidity due to ischemic heart disease (P ＜ 0.01) in male COPD patients than in the female counterparts.However,heart failure (P ＜ 0.01)and hypertension (P ＜ 0.01) occurred less frequently in male COPD patients than in female COPD patients.Furthermore,the prevalence of ischemic heart disease decreased year by year.In addition to heart failure,various types of CVD complications in COPD patients tended to occur in younger subjects.The prevalence of all major types of CVD in women tended to increase year by year.Conclusions The prevalence of CVD in patients hospitalized for COPD in Beijing was high.Age,sex and CVD trends,as well as life style changes,should be considered when prevention and control strategies are formulated.

Objective By observing the effect of Xiaoyuhuatan decoction on insulin resistance in rar with nonalchoholic fatty liver,the author made a reasearch into this herb'S machanism on cambating on nonalchoholic fatty liver.Methods The insulin resistance rat model was fed by high fat forage and Dongbaogantai control group was set up for the sake of comparion.We determined the contents of total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),free fatty acid(FFA),fasting plasma glucose(FBG),fasting serum insulin(INS)in serum and the contents of TC,TG of liver tissue homogenate of each group,and the degree of hepatocytic steatosis.Results Xiaoyuhuatan decoction could obviously decrease the index of insulin resistance and improve insulin insensitive index.Lipid in blood serum and hepatic tissues were significantly decreased,liver fat cell denaturation was improved.Conclusion The thrapentic eftect of Xiaoyuhuatan Decoction on fatty liver is probably contribute tO this herb's mechanism of improving insulin resistance and increasing insulin insensitive.

AIM: To observe the effect of Xiaoyu Huatan Decoction on the nonalchoholic fatty liver tissue peroxisome preliferator-activated receptor?(PPAR?) expression. METHODS: The nonalchoholic fatty liver disease rat model was fed by high fat forage and the rats were divided into five groups: normal control group,model control group,high-dose of Xiaoyu Huatan Decoction group,low-dose of Xiaoyu Huatan Decoction group,Dongbao Gantai control group.Total RNA of liver was extracted,and the expression of PPAR?mRNA was analyzed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR method.We determined the contents of total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),free ratty acid(FFA) in serum and the TC,TG in liver tissue homogenate of each group,and the degree of hepatocytic steatosis. RESULTS: Expression of liver tissue PPAR? mRNA in the model group decreased significantly,lipid in blood serum and hepatic tissues increased significantly,liver fat cell greatly denaturalized.After the intervention of medicine,expression of liver tissue PPAR? mRNA of each treatment group increased significantly,lipid in blood serum and hepatic tissues decreased significantly,liver fat cell denaturation was improved. CONCLUSION: Xiaoyu Huatan Decoction can increase the expression of liver tissue PPAR?mRNA of rats,It is likely to be one of the important mechanism for treating fatty liver.

METHODSAn abnormal band was found in paternity test by short tandem repeat-PCR, and collected by gel extraction. Then the DNA was amplified, cloned and sequenced.

RESULTSA fragment containing eight bases less than the minimal allele in the D18S1364 ladder, was found with the core sequence of (ATCT)₆(ATGT)₁(ATCT)₃. The allele was D18S1364-10.

CONCLUSIONThe D18S1364-10 allele was found and reported for the first time in China.

The biological!activities i.e. antineoplastic activities and antiviral activity of the two novel kinds of interferons: hIFN-?1 and hIFN-? were studied and compared. First the fusion expression vector: pcDNA3.1A-hIFN-?1-His and pcDNA3.1A-hIFN-?-His by PCR was constructed,then the two kinds of plasmids were transfected into WI-38 (human embryonic lung cells) with liposome. And cytopathic effect (CPE) suppression test was used to study and compare the antiviral activities of rhIFN-?1-His and rhIFN-?-His, meanwhile MTT assay was used to detect their antineoplastic activities.It was found that, antiproliferative activity and MxA protein induction shown by rhIFN-?1-His is more powerful than of rhIFN-?-His. The antiviral molecular mechanisms of both hIFN-?1 and hIFN-? are related to MxA.The foundation for further study on the bioactivities and mechanism of action of hIFN-?1 and hIFN-? was established.

Objective To explore the problems and countermeasures of special diagnosis support during base training.Methods The problems were analyzed in the allocation of special diagnosis equipment,equipment application in training,special diagnosis technician as well as the cooperation between personnel,equipment and etc,and some countermeasures were proposed accordingly.Results The special diagnosis support gained disadvantage in medical ultrasonic equipment while advantage in ECG machine.Field medical unit had medical technicians decreased after the new organization was implemented,and could meet the requirements after arrangement and strengthening communication facility.Conclusion The special diagnosis technicians in the field medical unit have to enhance their skills on medicine and field first aid.Medical ultrasonic equipment and ECG machine should be equipped in the field medical unit.The intra-and inter-group cooperation should be improved to facilitate special diagnosis support in the field medical unit.
