1.The enlightenment of Fu's subcutaneous needling on pain medicine.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(6):591-593
Fu's subcutaneous needling (FSN) is a modern approach developed from traditional Chinese acupuncture. It could give some stimulation in the subcutaneous region that has a quick and long-lasting effect on soft tissue injuries and some of the internal medicine diseases. It is a safe approach without adverse reaction. Through analysis of the features and possible mechanism of FSN, it is believed that research on mechanism of FSN is beneficial to the development of modern medicine, especially to pain management.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2014;(5):295-299
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of warm needling plus tuina in treating senile functional constipation.
Methods: Ninety elderly patients with functional constipation were randomized into two groups. Forty-six patients in the treatment group were intervened by warm needling plus tuina; the other forty-four patients in the control group were intervened bySan Huang tablet.
Results: In the treatment group, 19 patients were cured, 24 cases showed improvement, 3 cases failed, and the total effective rate was 93.5%; in the control group, 16 patients were cured, 18 cases showed improvement, 10 cases failed, and the total effective rate was 77.3%. There was a significant difference in comparing the therapeutic efficacy (P<0.05), and the therapeutic efficacy of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.
Conclusion: Warm needling plus tuina can produce a higher therapeutic efficacy than takingSan Huang tablet in treating senile functional constipation.

International Eye Science 2014;(6):1037-1040
Neovascular glaucoma ( NVG ) is a kind of intractable eye disease with complex etiology, strong destruction and poor effect on treatment. Extensive retinal ischemia and hypoxia is the main etiology, and the key of treatment is early diagnosis, active prevention and taking effective measures to prevent the production of vascular endothelial growth factor. According to the related literature over recent years, the authors will discuss pros and cons for medical, surgical and combined treatment in this review.

Objective To investigate the association of eIF4E and MMP-9 gene polymorphisms with psoriasis vulgaris in Han population of Shandong province. Methods A population based case-control association study was carried out in 188 patients with psoriasis vulgaris and 280 healthy human controls of Han nationality from Shandong province.Taqman SNP genotyping assay was performed to assess three SNPs,including rs4810482 and rs3918254 in MMP-9 gene and rs11723037 in eIF4E gene.Pairwise linkage disequilibrium was evaluated by using Haploview 4.2 software, and the frequencies of alleles and genotypes were analyzed by using Plink 1.07 software. Results The frequency of rs4810482 T allele was significantly lower in patients with psoriasis vulgaris than in the normal human controls(OR =1.49,95% CI:1.12-1.99,P < 0.01),and the significant difference still remained under recessive and dominant model.Bioinformatic analysis revealed that the rs4810482 altered the binding site of transcription factor, while no association was observed between psoriasis and either of the other two SNPs.Conclusions The SNP rs4810482 located at the upstream regulatory region of MMP-9 gene is significantly associated with psoriasis,hence,MMP-9 gene may be a susceptibility gene for psoriasis in Han population of Shandong province.

Objective Inquire into the relationship between diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)pathogenic factor and Antigangliosides antibody(Anti-GS-Ab)in type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods It was examined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays(ELISA)to the levels of serum Anti-gangliosides(Anti-GS)in 2 DM and DPN as well as healthy. Results The positive rate of Anti-GS-IgM,IgG in DPN group were 46.7% and 20.0%.repectivily it was obviously higher than normal group and 2 DM group. Conclusion The relationship between the DPN and Anti-GS-Ab is a close. It show that Anti-GS-Ab play an important role in DPN pathological process.

Chinese Journal of Pharmacology and Toxicology 2015;(6):924-930
OBJECTIVE To investigate and compare the enzyme kinetic characters of psoralen (PRN)and isopsoralen(IPRN)in rat and human liver microsomes. METHODS PRN and IPRN in liver microsomes incubates were determined using LC-MS/MS. The enzyme kinetic and metabolic stability of PRN and IPRN were investigated by employing the optimized rat and human liver microsomes incubations. The Vmax and Km values were calculated using the nonlinear regression method. RESULTS The quanti?tative method showed good linearity within the range of 0.1-50.0 μmol · L-1 and was suitable for the assay in biological samples. The in vitro elimination was linear with the substrate concentrations lower than 1 μmol, the protein concentration within 0.5 g · L-1,and the incubation time within 40 min. The t1/2 values of PRN and IPRN in rat and human liver microsomes were 74.5,95.0,74.5 and 173.3 min, respectively. The Vmax values of PRN in rat and human liver microsomes were(1.140±0.080)μmol·min-1·g-1 protein,(0.620±0.060)μmol·min-1·g-1 protein, while Km values of PRN in rat and human liver microsomes were (12.9 ± 0.3)μmol · L- 1,(7.4 ± 1.3)μmol · L- 1,respectively. The Vmax values of IPRN in rat and human liver microsomes were(0.251±0.012)and(0.103±0.014)μmol·min-1·g-1 protein, while Km values of IPRN in rat and human liver microsomes were (3.0 ± 0.4)μmol · L-1,(3.4 ± 0.7)μmol · L-1,respectively. CONCLUSION The enzyme kinetic characters and metabolic stability of PRN and IPRN show species and chemical structures related differences. Interestingly, the metabolic eliminations of PRN and IPRN are similar in rats. However, the metabolic elimination of IPRN in humans involved in CYP enzymes may be much slower than that of PRN.
