1.The enlightenment of Fu's subcutaneous needling on pain medicine.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(6):591-593
Fu's subcutaneous needling (FSN) is a modern approach developed from traditional Chinese acupuncture. It could give some stimulation in the subcutaneous region that has a quick and long-lasting effect on soft tissue injuries and some of the internal medicine diseases. It is a safe approach without adverse reaction. Through analysis of the features and possible mechanism of FSN, it is believed that research on mechanism of FSN is beneficial to the development of modern medicine, especially to pain management.

Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2014;(12):10-12
The limitations of patent ranking were analyzed, followed by a description of the patent asset index, a novel approach to benchmark patent porifolios, which assesses patents according to their portfolios, market and technologies, and is thus a more accurate tool for assessing the value of intellectual property rights.

Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2014;(5):295-299
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of warm needling plus tuina in treating senile functional constipation.
Methods: Ninety elderly patients with functional constipation were randomized into two groups. Forty-six patients in the treatment group were intervened by warm needling plus tuina; the other forty-four patients in the control group were intervened bySan Huang tablet.
Results: In the treatment group, 19 patients were cured, 24 cases showed improvement, 3 cases failed, and the total effective rate was 93.5%; in the control group, 16 patients were cured, 18 cases showed improvement, 10 cases failed, and the total effective rate was 77.3%. There was a significant difference in comparing the therapeutic efficacy (P<0.05), and the therapeutic efficacy of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.
Conclusion: Warm needling plus tuina can produce a higher therapeutic efficacy than takingSan Huang tablet in treating senile functional constipation.

International Eye Science 2014;(6):1037-1040
Neovascular glaucoma ( NVG ) is a kind of intractable eye disease with complex etiology, strong destruction and poor effect on treatment. Extensive retinal ischemia and hypoxia is the main etiology, and the key of treatment is early diagnosis, active prevention and taking effective measures to prevent the production of vascular endothelial growth factor. According to the related literature over recent years, the authors will discuss pros and cons for medical, surgical and combined treatment in this review.

As the basis of the health management of the elderly, weight management should receive attention from medical practitioners. However, there is an ongoing debate on the ideal range of body mass index for elderly in China. This article aimed to find the suitable body mass index for Chinese old people by reviewing the literature regarding the body mass and obesity of the elderly.Lots of evidence show that overweight and mild obesity appear to be the optimal weight status for the elderly.

Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1992;0(12):-
Objective To study the influence of herbal decoction Shuxin Yin(SXY)on platelet activation of rats and mice with a- cute myocardial ischemia in order to explain its possible mechanism for treating coronary heart disease. Methods The rat model with acute myocardial ischemia and the mice model with acute myocardial ischemia and reperfusion were established. The male SD rats and ICR mice,51 each, were randomized into 5 groups respectively:sham operation group, model group, low dose SXY group, high dose SXY group, ticlopidine groap.Made models and collected blood Sample after 30 days gastric infusion in succession. The flow cytome- try technique and the monoclonal antibody examination were adopted to test the mice platelet glycoprotein CD_(62)P;the radioim- munoassay was used to test rat platelet aggregation rate(PAR),fibrinogen(Fg),thromboxane B_2(TXB_2)and 6-keto-PGF_(1?) and their ratio. Results Shuxin Yin can, inhibit the high expression of CD_(62)P of mice with acute myocardial ischemia and reperfusion, and de- crease PAR,Fg and TXB_2/6-keto-PGF_(1?) of rats with acute myocardial isehemia.Compared with the effect of ticlopidine, the differ- ence was not significant. Conclusion Shuxin Yin could effectively inhibiting platelet activation in rats anel mice with acute myocardial ischemia, and its effect in preventing and treating coronary heart disease might be related to the inhibition of platelet activation.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2000;0(06):-
Objective To evaluate the clinical safety and efficacy of HIFU treatment of hepatic metastases from colorectal cancer. Methods 20 tumor lesions in 14 patients with hepatic metastases from colonectal cancer were treated with HIFU therapy. The vital signs, main organs'functions, examination of MRI and complications were observed. Results Vital signs of all the 14 patients were stable. The function of liver and kidney were normal and life quality were improved with elevation of Karnofsky in 5 patients. On MRI examination, the MRI signals of treating area of 20 tumor lesion in 14 patients decreased remarkably with disappearance of blood supply and a thin layer of edematous intensified zone was detected on the margin of lesion.6 patients were found to have cord-like burning scar on skin. Conclusion HIFU treatment is safe and effective in treatment of hepatic metastases from colorectal cancer.
