1.Role of serum ?/? ratio detection in multiple myeloma diagnosis

Objective To explore the clinical value of the immune rate nephelometry (IRN)in detecting the rate of serum ? and ?,and diagnosing multiple myeloma.Methods Twenty-five cases of multiple myeloma (MM),28 cases of M protein sickness and 120 cases of healthy people were detected for the rate of serum ?/? by the Immage Protein Machine the results were analyzed.Results 0.8% of healthy people was positive, the positive rate of ? and ? type M protein sickness were 23.1% and 26.7% respectively, the positive rate of ? and ? type multiple myeloma was 92.3% and 100% respectively. Conclusion The method of IRN has high sensitivity and stability in detecting the light chain of serum ? and ? on/with the Immage Protein Machine.The accuracy value of prognosing MM with the rate of serum ? and ? is better.
2.Design of ARM-based pressure control system of vacuum sealing drainage device

Objective With the extensive application of vacuum sealing drainage (VSD),vacuum control mode needs to be developed and improved.The aim of this study was to develop ARM-based VSD system.Methods The system was composed of central processing unit,pressure sensing unit and pressure control units.32-bit LJD-e Win7000 was used as central processing unit.X-type silicon pressure sensor was used to sense the pressure.Real time feedback technology was applied to control the solenoid opening and closing in order to accurately control the negative pressure.Results VSD pressure control system was completed.Compared with the measured value,the system had relatively large error in low pressure.With the increase of pressure,the error decreased.Conclusion Through linear correction algorithm,the pressure control system can meet the requirements of VSD machine.
3.Preparation of Triptolide-loaded Microspheres and Its Release Profile in Vitro and in Vivo

OBJECTIVE:To prepare triptolide-loaded sustained release microspheres and investigate its release profile in vivo and in vitro.METHODS:Triptolide-loaded sustained release microspheres were prepared by solvent evaporation method.A motionless method was used to investigate the process of release in vitro.The in vivo release process was investigated by pharmacokinetic experiment in rats.RESULTS:The microspheres were round and smooth examined by optical microscope.The size of triptolide loaded microspheres was(38.2?1.7) ?m and the encapsulation efficiency of triptolide loaded microspheres was(74.7?3.2)%.A constant in vitro release of triptolide-loaded microspheres was noted.The pharmacokinetic parameters of microspheres in vivo were as follows:Cmax was(114.7?31.90) ng?mL-1;tmax was(8.32?4.43) h;AUC was(1 774 282?1 046 152) ng?h?mL-1 and MRT was(596?165) h.In addition,the in vivo-in vitro correlation was good,r=0.955 3(P
4.Evaluation of effect of drinking green tea on patients with primary kidney disease syndrome

Objective To explore the interference effect of drinking green tea on patients with primary kidney disease syndrome. Methods 200 cases of patients with normal kidney function and also accepted initial treatment of primary kidney disease syndrome were divided into the research group(102cases) and the control group (98 cases) at random. The research group adopted normal nursing, hormone medicine treatment and also drank green tea as nursing measure, but the control group used normal medical treatment and hormone only. The change of blood sugar, blood fat and hemodynamics and relapse rate of kidney disease syndrome were observed in two groups one year later. Results A variety of indexes of the blood sugar, blood fat and hemodynamics in patients of the research group were better than the patients of the control group one year later. The relapse rate of the research group was 11.76%, the control group was 28.57%, the difference was statistically different. Conclusions Drinking green tea can improve the food treatment effect of patients suffered from primary kidney disease syndrome so as to reduce the recrudescent rate effectively and improve life quality of patients suffered from primary kidney disease syndrome.

7.Imaging anatomy of the infraorbital ethmoid cells on multislice CT

Objective To study the anatomic characteristics of the infraorbital ethmoid cells on muhislice CT(MSCT)and explore the relationship between the infraobital ethmoid cells and mueosal swelling of sinuses.Methods Two hundred sixty patients(520 sides) of consecutive axial scans by GE HisDeed VCT and the multiplunar reformation(MPR),virtual endoscopy(VE)reconstruction images by GE AW 4.2 workstation were reviewed retrospectively.The following CT features were assessed:(1)the anatomic characteristics of the infraobital ethmoid ceils,including the frequency of identification,origin,classification.(2)presence of mucosal swelling of sinuses,(3)the maximal transversal diameter of the inflraobital ethmoid cells in ostium of maxillary sinus(perpendicular to the uncinate process),and the diameter of the ostium of maxillary sinus,(4)presence of infraobital ethmoid ceils inflammatory findings and a contact between the mucosal surface of the ostium of maxillary sinus.The results were analyzed by using Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis with the statistical software SPSS 11.5.Results (1) UniLateral infraobital ethmoid cells were f10und in 68 patients(26.1%),and bilateral infraobital ethmoid cells were found in 81 patients(31.2%).Infraobital ethmoid ceHs were found in 230 sides on left Bide (120 sides)and right side(110 sides).(2)Infraobital ethmoid cells originated from the anterior ethmoid cells in 124 sides(53.9%)and from posterior ethmoidal cells in 62 sides(27%),originated from both the anterior ethmoidal cells and the posterior ethmoidal cells in 44 sides(19.1%).(3)The classification of the infraobital ethmoid cells included three types.Infraobital ethmoid cells with different origination differed significantly in theirtypes(x2=193.433,P<0.01).Most ofthe infraobital ethmoid cells originated from tlle anterior ethmoidal cells were type Ⅰ(160 sides),while the type Ⅱ(48 sides)and Ⅲ(45 sides) frequently originated from the posterior ethmoidal ceHs(4)The mueosal swelling of sinuses,were found in 165 sides in presence of infraobtial ethmoid cells and 192 sides in absence of infraobtial ethmoid cells.The presence of infraobtial ethmoid cells had no effect on mucosal swelling(X2=1.824,P>0.05).The maximal transversal diameter of the infraobital ethmoid cells in ostium of maxillary sinus did not differ significantly between the cases with or without mucosal swelling of sinuses(t=0.273,P>0.05).and the diameter of the ostium of maxillary sinus were not significantly related with mucosal swelling of sinuse8 (Wald=2.534,P>0.05).Presence of infraobital ethmoid cells inflammatory findings (Wald=10.817. P<0.01,OR=4.125)and a contact between the mucosal surface of the ostium of maxillary sinus (Wald= 6.640,P<0.01,OR=3.728)were significantly related to mucosal swelling of 8inuses. Conclusions (1)MSCT scan could clearly demonstrate the detailed information of infraobital ethmoid ceIIs.(2)The presence of infraobtial ethmoid cells Was not a risk factor for chronics sinusitis. When we assess inflraobtial ethmoid cells as a possible etiologic factor in chronics sinusitis we should observe presence of infraobital ethmoid cells inflammatory findings and a contact between the mucosal surface of the ostium of maxillary sinud.
8.MR perfusion weighted imaging in evaluation of benign and malignant meningiomas

Objective To investigate the correlation between relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) and tumor character of meningiomas. Methods Thirty-six (GradeⅠ: n=30, GradeⅡ+Ⅲ: n=6) patients with meningioma underwent conventional MR and perfusion weighted imaging (PWI) . The pulse sequence of PWI was single shot GRE-EPI-T2~*WI. The CBV maps were calculated from the original data of perfusion images and the maximum rCBV of meningiomas was acquired from CBV maps through measurement on the region of interest (ROI). The differences of rCBV in tumor and edema between benign and malignant tumors were analyzed. Results The mean rCBV in tumor of benign meningioma (9.78±4.69) was higher than that of malignant ones (3.59±0.28) (t=7.168, P<0.001). The mean rCBV in edema of benign and malignant meningiomas was 3.06±1.76 and 3.58±1.93, respectively (P>0.05). Conclusion CBV map and quantitative study of rCBV are feasible for differential diagnosis of meningiomas and have instructive function for clinical treatment and assessment of prognosis.

Objective To compare the efficacy and predictability of sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK and two-zone cross-cylinder LASIK for the correction of moderate and high astigmatism.Design Prospective,comparative case series.Participants 40 eyes of 35 patients with mixed astigmatism undergoing LASIK.Methods All patients were treated with Visx Star IV LASIK system.20 eyes of 19 cases were used for sphere-cylinder combined LASIK mode and 20 eyes of 16 cases for two-zone-cross-cylinder LASIK mode.All sub- jects were followed more than 6 months.Main Outcome Measures Uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA),best spectacle-corrected visual acuity (BSCVA),spherical diopter,residual astigmatism and corneal thickness.Results For the patients who received two-zone-cross-cylinder LASIK mode,the UCVA at 6 months after surgery was 0.5 or above,and 13 eyes (65.0%) were 1.0 or above. For the patients who received sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK mode,the UCVA at 6 months after surgery was 0.5 or above,and 11 eyes (55.0%) was 1.0 or above (P=0.683).The residual astigmatism for the patients received sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK mode was (1.15?1.00)D,while for the patients received cross-cylinder LASIK mode was (1.13?0.62)D(P=0.045).The remotion depth of cornea for sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK mode and cross-cylinder LASIK mode was (36.73?13.12)?m and (15.60?6.85)?m,respectively (P= 0.031).Condusion The UCVA,residual astigmatism and corneal thickness after surgery in two-zone-cross-cylinder LASIK mode were better than that in sphere-cylinder-combined LASIK mode for the correction of moderate and high astigmatism.
10.Comparison of Helical CT Ray Sum Projection with Shaded Surface Display in Diagnosing Pelvic Lesions

Objective To compare the values of helical CT Ray sum projection(RSP)with shaded surface display (SSD)in diagnosing pelvic lesion.Methods Ray sum images in 18 cases of ankylosing spondylitis,5 cases of bone tumor,15 cases of pelvic fracture were analyzed and compared with shaded surface display(SSD),plain films and CT scans.Results The positive rate of 18 cases ankylosing spondylitis was 93.5% for RSP,38.7% for SSD and 83.9% for plain films.In 12 cases of 1~2 stages articular sacroiliaca arthritis,RSP can detect sacroiliac joints sclerosis and vesicula osteonecrosis as well as the axial view,it had higher positive rate than plain film or SSD(?
