Mucin antigen 4 (MUC4) is a molecular marker for some malignant tumors for early tumor diagnosis, prognosis and targeted therapy. It provides a new research direction in tumor diagnosis and treatment that will have a wide application prospect. In recent years, there has been a large number of research reports on the basic and clini-a wide application prospect. Recent studies show that the abnormalities of dickkopf-1 (DKK-1)are closely related to the bone metastasis and therapeutic effect of breast cancer,prostatic carcinoma,multiple myeloma,neuroblastoma and non-small cell lung cancer.Clinical researches of large sample on the relationships between serum DKK-1 concentration and malignant tumors bone metastases have important clinical significance for evaluating the value of DKK-1 as a clinical biological biomarker of bone metastases and understanding the tumor mechanisms of bone metastases.

Inosine 5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) is a key enzyme of de novo GMP biosynthesis. The expression and activity of IMPDH can be affected by diseases and physiological process. It is the drug target for anticancer, antiviral, antimicrobial and immunosuppressive therapeutics. Not only catalytic action but the other biological functions of IMPDH also play an important role in diseases. The basic functions, mechanism of catalysis, classification of inhibitors, biological functions and the latest advances to IMPDH will be illustrated in this review. It is expected to be helpful to the discovery of new inhibitors and biological functions of IMPDH.

Objective:To analyze dermoscopic and reflectance confocal microscopic characteristics of acanthosis nigricans, and to assess the value of dermoscopy and reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) in the auxiliary diagnosis of acanthosis nigricans.Methods:A total of 63 patients with acanthosis nigricans were collected from Department of Dermatology, the Third People′s Hospital of Hangzhou from January 2018 to December 2019, and 5 healthy individuals served as controls. Two lesions on the neck and axilla were examined with dermoscopy and RCM separately in each patient. Biopsies were carried out at the sites evaluated by dermoscopy and RCM in 3 patients, followed by routine histopathological examination.Results:Dermoscopy showed papilloma-like hyperplasia in 126 (100%) lesions, "fat finger" structures in 119 (94.4%) , and "gully" structures in 120 (95.2%) . RCM showed hyperpigmentation in the basal layers, downward extension and twisting of dermal papillary rings and "gully" structures in 126 (100%) lesions, moderately to highly refractive particles in the dermal papillary rings in 87 (69.0%) .Conclusion:Acanthosis nigricans has typical dermoscopic and reflectance confocal microscopic characteristics, which can provide a basis for its diagnosis and differential diagnosis.

Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP) as an autoimmune disease,is the most common clinical hemorrhagic disease.But,its pathogenesis is not completely clear yet.Low platelet count can easily repeate in chronic ITP patients,there are poor efficacy in refractory ITP patients,too.In recent years,a series of important progress on the pathogenesis of ITP had been made.In the humoral mechanism,there were significant progress on the emergence of autoantibodies;the theory on anomaly of the megakaryocyte quantity and quality caused by autoantibody were put forward.In the cellular mechanisms,the theory on reduction in the number of Tr cells,Co-stimulative signal and platelets directly dissolved by cytotoxicity T cells were put forward also.This review will be made to sum up the study progress on the pathogenesis of ITP.

Objective To explore the significance of the changes of serum B cell activating factor(BAFF) in children with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP).Methods The concentrations of BAFF were detected by ELISA in 42 children with ITP(test group) before and after treatment in the Children′s Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University from Apr.to Nov.2008,the blood platelet count(BPC) was detected also.And 40 children who were operated selectively were selected as control group.The variation of concentrations of BAFF were analyzed among children with ITP before,after treatment and control group.Moreover,the relationship between serum BAFF expression and BPC were analyzed by the Pearson test.Results The concentrations of serum BAFF were higher in children with ITP before treatment compared with that in control group [(0.943 3?0.583 5) ?g?L-1 vs(0.538 9?0.234 7) ?g?L-1,P0.05).There was negative correlation between serum BAFF expression and BPC(r=-0.305,P

Objective The invasion and metastasis of tumor cells depend on the growth of new blood vessels, and tumor neovascularization was regulated by a lots of factors. This study aimed to investigate the expression of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF -1α) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VECF) in retinoblastoma and explore the correlation of HIF-1α and VEGF with tumor invasion and metastasis and analyze their relationship with clinicopathology characters and determine their effect on angiogenesis. Methods Forty-six retinoblastoma specimens with different clinical stages were collected in Affiliated Second Hospital of Nanchang University. The specimens received neither radiotherapy nor chemotherapy. The retinal tissue near the tumor was as control. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of HIF-1α protein and VEGF protein in retinoblastoma. The relationship between expression of HIF-1α and VEGF and stage of tumor was analyzed. Results The HIF-1α and VEGF were highly expressed in the ischemia or necrosis area of retinoblastoma. Expression of HIF-1α was mainly in cell nuclear and partly in cytoplasm, and VEGF was mainly expressed in cytoplasm of tumor cells. The expression of HIF-1α and VEGF was gradually increased with the rising of tumor stage (P ＜ 0. 05) and showed significant correlation between expression of HIF-1α and VEGF with tumor stage(r_s =0. 943, P ＜0. 01). HIF-1α exepression was also possitively related to VEGF level in retinoblastoma (r, =0. 946, P ＜ 0. 01). Conclusion HIF-1α and VEGF were over-expressed in retinoblastoma cells, and the expressions were related to clinical staging, invasion and metastasis of tumor cells. The expression of HIF-1α and VEGF was one of the predictors for the biological behaviors of retinoblastoma. HIF-1α and VEGF may play an important role in angiogenesis and tumor progression in retinoblastoma.
