In June 2004,the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued Guidance for Industry:Botanical Drug Development,which opened a new path for the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).In October 2006,the first botanical drug product Veregen TM was approved by the FDA.The regulatory policy for botanical and herbal medicine coincides with the internationalization strategy of Hutchison MediPharma Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Hutchison).In 2006,Hutchison's first herbal mixture medicine andrographis paniculata HMPL-004 successfully obtained Investigational New Drug (IND) from the US.From 2006 to 2014,there are eight clinical studies of HMPL-004 being conducted in Europe and the US,from Phase 1 safety study to proof-of-concept trials in ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's disease.To strengthen HMPL-004 development on a global scale,Hutchison made business alliance with Nestle Health Science in clinical development as well as basic research.Due to futile outcome of an interim analysis,the Phase Ⅲ registration study in UC was terminated.However,valuable lessons were learned with the birth of the generation botanical drug product HMPL004-6599.

Foreign-invested hospitals are for-profit institutes built in China by MNCs(Multinational Corporations).The composition of human resources in Foreign-invested hospitals is the same as that in Foreign-invested companies in China,with the character of international human resources.Thus,this article reviewed some relevant theories on IHRM(International Human Resource Management)in the first place,and then discussed IHRM associated with the status quo of foreign-invested hospitals in China.
3.Establishment of Evaluation Index System for the Implementation of National Essential Medicine System in Community Health Service Centers in Shanghai

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the construction of suitable evaluation index system for the implementation of National Essential Medicine System in community health service center.METHODS:The frame of evaluation index system was designed by theoretical analysis,literature study and expert interviews methods.Delphi method was used to establish evaluation index system for National Essential Medicine System in Shanghai community health service center.Analytic hierarchy process was adopted to determine the weights of indicators at all levels.RESULTS:The positive coefficients of the two rounds consultations were 88.24% (15/17) and 86.67% (13/15).The authority coefficient of structural index,processing index and result index in the first round consultation were 0.68,0.68 and 0.69,respectively,which showed that the authority degree was higher.The coefficient of concordance in the second round consultation was higher than the first round (the indexes of structure,process and result in two rounds consultation were 0.286,0.306,0.193 and 0.345,0.358,0.337,respectively),which indicated the expert opinions were highly consistent.Established evaluation index system consisted of 3 fiust-level indexes,13 second-level indexes and 27 third-level indexes.CONCLUSIONS:The selected experts were representative,the consultation results were reliable,established evaluation index system was rational and the setting of weights was scientific.Also this study was a methodological exploration.

Mesenchymal stem cells is another adult stem cells in bone marrow apart from hematopoietic stem cells.Because of their strong self-renewal capacity and the potential of multi-lineage differentiation.mesenehymal stem cells are used more and more in the treatment of malignant diseases,such as hematological malignant diseases and extensively applied in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering.However,the exact role of mesenehymal stem cells on tumor is not completely clear.This review is about the impact of mesenchymal stem cells on tumor growth and the related mechanism.
5.Effects of mouse nerve growth factor on serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor, Fibulin-5 and intracranial blood flow in acute cerebral infarction

Objective To investigate effects of mouse nerve growth factor on serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor, Fibulin-5 and intracranial blood flow in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods 98 patients with acute cerebral infarction in our hospital from September 2015 to September 2016 were selected as the research object, divided into observation group and control group, 49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional treatment of acute cerebral infarction, patients in the observation group on the basis of conventional treatment combined with mouse nerve growth factor, Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor, Fibulin-5, Intracranial ultrasonography was used to detect intracranial blood flow, the brain-derived neurotrophic factor, Fibulin-5, cerebral blood flow were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results Before treatment, two groups of patients with brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), Fibulin-5 and hemodynamics, the difference was not statistically significant.After treatment, the levels of BDNF and Fibulin-5 in the observation group were (5.63 ±1.34), (156.63 ±12.79), significantly higher than the control group (4.26 ±1.54), (115.52 ±15.66), the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05 ) , the observation group of patients with cerebral hemodynamics index , average blood flow ( Qmean ) , the average blood flow velocity (Vmean), dynamic impedance (DR), cerebral vascular characteristic impedance (ZCV), cerebral vascular peripheral resistance (R) were significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the prognosis of the observation group was better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05 ) .Conclusion Clinical effect of mouse nerve growth factor on acute cerebral infarction is helpful to promote the growth of nerve function inhibition, improve cerebral blood flow, better prognosis.
6.Brand-name Injectable Drugs vs.Generic Injection in Governmental Pricing

OBJECTIVE:To provide references for improving the governmental drug pricing,especially for brand-name drugs.METHODS:With the statistical data listed in the governmental drug price catalogs,the price difference rates between brand-name and generic injection were computed.RESULTS:Only 26%of the drugs were in line with the requirement on price difference rate(35%for injections)specified in governmental drug price principle,and the highest price gap between brand-name drug and generic drug was as high as over 500%.CONCLUSIONS:It is advisable for government to adopt mild method of gradual reduction of drug prices,control the preferential degree for the price of the brand- name drugs,establish a dynamic price control system,and promote the balance on the benefits of both brand-name drug manufactures and the generic drug manufacturers.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for definition and research & development of new drugs in China.METHODS:The history of the definition for new drugs was reviewed,and the effects of the definition of new drugs on the research and development of drugs were discussed by using the game theory "Tragedy of the Commons" and "Anti-Tragedy of the Commons".RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:The definition of new drugs should be more and more scientific and reasonable and in line with the aim of building new creative country,meanwhile,efforts should be paid to avoid the above mentioned two kinds of tragedies.
8.Effect of Danshen injection combined with ulinastatin on the brain protection and inflammatory reaction in patients with severe traumatic brain injury

Objective To observe the effect of Danshen injection combined with ulinastatin on the brain protection and inflammatory reaction in patients with Severe traumatic brain injury.Methods 83 cases of patient with Severe traumatic brain injury were randomly divided into the observation group(43 cases)and the control group(40 cases).The control group was given ulinastatin based on conventional treatment,and the observation group was given Danshen injection and ulinastatin based on the control group.For 10 days,the differences of hemodynamic parameters(Qmean、Zc、DR)and serum nerve function indexes(β-EP、DynAl-13、NSE),inflammatory factors(IL-1,IL-6,TNF-α,CRP)between the two groups were be compared.Results ①Comparison of hemodynamic parameters There was significantly difference of Qmean、Zc、DR in these two groups(Fgroup=6.126,5.024,5.621,P<0.05),Qmean was showed a rising trend over time and Zc、DR were showed a declining trend over time(Ftime=10.146,9.247,9.381,P<0.05),the changed amplitude in observation group was higher than the control group(Finteraction=5.357,4.257,4.813,P<0.05); Comparison of nerve function indexes There was significantly difference of β-EP、DynAl-13、NSE in these two groups(Fgroup=5.827,6.294,6.731,P<0.05),they was all showed a reducing trend over time(Ftime=12.613,11.746,9.842,P<0.05),the declined amplitude in observation group was higher than the control group(Finteraction=6.353,7.251,4.284,P<0.05);Comparison of inflammatory factors There was significantly difference of IL-1,IL-6,TNF-α,CRP in these two groups(Fgroup=4.284,5.162,6.174,4.291,P<0.05),they was all showed a rising then reducing trend over time(Ftime=9.163,10.357,13.457,12.434,P<0.05),the changed amplitude in observation group was higher than the control group(Finteraction=4.255,5.242,8.530,7.847,P<0.05).Conclusion Danshen injection combined with ulinastatin has more obviously function of protecting the cerebralfunction and suppressing inflammation in the treatment of Severe traumatic brain injury compared with ulinastatin alone.
9.Clinical Analysis of 12 Cases of Intrauterine Re-adhesions Treated with Transcervical Resection of Adhesion

Objective To study the clinical characteristics of intrauterine re-adhesions treated by transcervical resection of adhesion (TCRA). Methods Between January 2012 and January 2015, 12 patients with intrauterine re-adhesions after TCRA in other hospitals had fertility requirements , including 10 cases of severe intrauterine adhesions and 2 cases of moderate intrauterine adhesions .In our hospital , the 12 patients underwent laparoscopic exploration and TCRA .After operation the patients were treated with artificial cycle therapy for 3 months and then underwent hysteroscopic examination . Results In the operation, the remaining of 50%endometrium was found in 1 case, the remaining of 30%endometrium was found in 1 case, and the remaining of 20%endometrium in 9 cases.Only petechial and patchy residual endometrial islands were found in 1 case.Uterine dysplasia was found in 3 cases.Re-examinations of hysteroscopy 3 months after surgery showed 4 cases of uterine cavity normal recovery , 6 cases of moderate intrauterine adhesions, and 2 cases of mild intrauterine adhesions .Follow-up for 18-42 months (mean, 28.5 months) in the 12 cases showed 2 cases of term pregnancy and 1 case of spontaneous abortion .The other 9 patients had no pregnancy , 3 of which withdrew the treatment and 6 of which underwent further treatment . Conclusions Patients with intrauterine re-adhesions usually have seriously damaged endometrium and poor recovery .We suggest that TCRA should be completed by experienced professionals to reduce the residual endometrial destruction , so as to improve the treatment outcomes of intrauterine adhesions .
10.Vinpocetine injection attenuates lipopolysaccharide-induced acute lung injury in rats

AIM: To observe the inhibitory effects of vinpocetine injection on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute lung injury (ALI) in the rats and to explore the underlying mechanisms.METHODS: Male Wistar rats (n=50) were randomly divided into 5 groups: control group, ALI model group, and low, medium and high doses of vinpocetine treatment groups.The rats in control group were injected with 0.9% NaCl at 5 mL/kg through femoral vein.The rats in ALI model group received LPS at 10 mg/kg through femoral vein.After injected with LPS, the rats in vinpocetine treatment groups received vinpocetine at 0.2 mg/kg, 0.7 mg/kg or 1.2 mg/kg via intraperitoneal injection.The pathological changes of the lung tissues were observed under microscope with HE staining.The cell apoptosis in the lung tissues was detected by TUNEL staining.Myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity was measured by the method of spectrophotometry.The protein expression of NF-κB, ICAM-1, VCAM-1, Bax and Bcl-2 was determined by Western blot.RESULTS: Compared with ALI group, administration of vinpocetine significantly attenuated the structural injury of the lung and the infiltration of inflammatory cells.Moreover, vinpocetine decreased cell apoptosis and MPO activity in the lung tissues of ALI rats.In addition, the protein expression of NF-κB, ICAM-1, VCAM-1 and Bax was inhibited after vinpocetin treatment, whereas Bcl-2 expression was increased.CONCLUSION: Vinpocetine attenuates LPS-lung injury by reducing MPO activity and regulating NF-κB, ICAM-1, VCAM-1, Bax and Bcl-2 protein expression.
