1.Study on the Fingerprints of Rheum palmatum Planted in Kangding Area
China Pharmacy 2007;0(33):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the HPLC fingerprints of Rheum palmatum planted in Kangding area.METHODS:The samples were separated on a Shim-pack ODS(150 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m)with column temperature kept at 30 ℃;the mobile phase consisted of 0.1% H3PO4 methanol-0.1% H3PO4 aqueous solution by linear gradient elution with a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1 and detection wavelength of 280 nm.RESULTS:The HPLC fingerprints of Rheum palmatum planted in Kangding area had been established in which 56 common peaks were noted.Similarity of ten batches crude medicines was calculated, and a common template was set up.CONCLUSION:The established method is simple and feasible and by which the general quality of Rheum palmatum planted in Kangding area can be reflected.
2.Preparation of Metoprolol Succinate Sustained-Release Tablet and Its Content Determination
Herald of Medicine 2016;35(8):870-874
Objective To establish a method of preparing metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablet and its content determination. Methods The formulation was optimized through the orthogonal design test by using release rate of the drug as an indicator. The different batches of metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablets were determined by HPLC. Results The tablets could release drug steadily and slowly as designed, which was similar to imported tablets. The linear range of metoprolol succinate was 10-70 μg?mL-1( r=0.999 8) . Conclusion The releasing rate of metoprolol succinate sustained-release tablet prepared in optimum condition can meet the requirement. This preparation technology is simple, the assay method is rapid, sensitive and reproducible.
3.Tumor microenvironment and neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(4):272-274
Recently many studies have focused on the roles that tumor microenvironment plays in the occurrence and development of tumors, and the therapeutic effects of adjuvant chemotherapy and neoadjuvant chemotherapy.Recent researches show that tumor microenvironment has an obvious impact on the therapeutic effects of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, which mainly includes cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAF),stromal cell derived factor-1 (SDF-1) and collagens.

AIM:To research the effect of safflower in renal intertistial fibrosis by GFR and renal biopsypathology with Sprague-Dnwley(SD) rat model.METHODS:All rats were distributed into 6 groups.Group A was normal control, group B received sham operation, group C was vehicle control, group D received vehicle, group E received safflower(10(g?kg~(-1)) body(wt?d~(-1))),and group F received enalapril((12.5)(mg?kg~(-1)) body(wt?d~(-1))).Rats underwent reversible left renal vein obstruction for 6 d,after which the obstruction was relieved.Renal function was determined by measuring GFR with inulin clearances. Both renal tubular epithelial cells(RTECs) and fibronection deposition for renal interstitial fibrosis were identified by immunohistochemistry. The positive and negative areas of per slice was determined by a motic medical 6.0 graphical analytical system.Atrophic tubules were determined by measuring the tubule diameter.10 fields per slice were analyzed at ?400 magnification.RESULTS:Return of glomerular filtration rate(GFR) was seen in group E and goup F,which was significantly better than group D(P

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(13):-
Objective To synthesize soybean isoflavones, and their 7-alkaline analogues and to evaluate their uterotrophic activities and anti-uterotrophic activities preliminarily. Methods The target molecules were synthesized by multi-step from resorcinol and p-substituted phenylacetic acid as the starting material. Their uterotrophic activities and anti-uterotrophic activities were evaluated by female mouse at the concentration of 1.1?10 -2 ?mol/ml and 1.85?10 -3 ?mol/ml. Results Twenty-two compounds were synthesized, among which 4 intermediates and 12 isoflavones are new compounds. Conclusion All the target molecules except for 6a show weak uterotrophic activities and high anti-uterotrophic activities.

Objective To investigate the protective effect and mechanism of betaxolol on optic nerves after experimental retinal ischemia-reperfused injury. Methods Retinal ischemia was induced in SD rats by increasing intraocular pressure through intracameral infusion. Sixty-eight rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: normal control (eight rats), 0.25% betaxolol treatment (thirty rats) and saline control group (thirty rats). The latter two groups were subdivided into group 1 day, 3 and 7 days after reperfusion, respectively, with 10 rats in each group. Betaxolol and normal saline was applied to the right eyes of the rats in the treatment group and to the ones in normal saline control group, respectively. The amplitude of b-wave of electron retinograph (ERG) was observed and the histological and ultrastructural changes were detected by light and electron microscopy. The expression of neural nitrogen oxide synthase (nNOS) was detected by immunohistochemistry. The content of malonyldialdehyde (MDA) and the superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity were measured by spectrophotometer. Results [WTBZ]Began from the first day after reperfusion, in saline control group, the amplitudes of ERG b-wave reduced continuously, the histopathological damages of retina were aggravating, the expression of nNOS increased, MDA level increased and SOD level decreased persistently, which significantly differed from the normal control group (P0.01). Conclusion Betaxolol, by reducing intracellular overfreight of Ca~(2+),inhibiting production of NO and elevating the ability of anti-oxidation in rat retina, can protect retinal neurons from ischemia-reperfused injury.
