Objective To explore the bioactivity and stability of the antifungal substance produced by Streptomyces NG-715 as well as to establish the assay for biological activity detection. Method Take the antifungal substance as experimental materials, and test its minimum inhibitory concentration and minimum bactericidal concentration on four fungi strains including Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Penicillium citrinum, Aspergillus niger, Rhizopus sp. Aspergillus niger was used as indicator strain to measure the biological activity and stability of the antifungal substance. Results The results showed that the MIC of the antifungal substance on four fungi strains including Saccharomyces cerevisiae,Penicillium citrinum,Aspergillus niger,Rhizopus sp were 1.25, 2.5, 3.75 and 3.75μg/mL, respectively. The MBC of the antifungal substance on four fungi strains were 2.5, 10, 17.5 and 17.5μg/mL, respectively. Linearity regress equation of the antifungal substance in Aspergillus niger was y=26.963 x-27.6,R 2=0.9991. The antifungal substance was pH-stable, heat-stable but ultravio1 et-sensible. Conclusion The results from this study will porvide useful information for the further extraction and analysis on the bioactive compound.

Objective To observe the expression of P21 and CDK6 in cervical squamous cell carcinoma,and to investigate the relationship between their expression and cervical squamous cell carcinoma.Methods The expression of CDK6 and P21 in 100 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma,20 cases of cervical CIN lesions and 20 cases of normal cervical tissues were detected by immunohistochemical ABC method,and the relationship between them and tumor differentiation,invasion depth,lymph node metastasis and clinical stage were analyzed.Results The expression rates of P21 and CDK6 in cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissues were significantly higher than those in CIN lesions and normal cervical tissues;The low expression of P21 was associated with the depth of tumor invasion,lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (P＜0.05),and was not associated with the degree of tumor differentiation (P＞0.05);The high expression of CDK6 was associated with tumor differentiation,invasion depth,lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (P＜0.05).Conclusion The abnormal expression of P21 and CDK6 may play an important role in the occurrence and development of cervical squamous cell carcinoma,and the two may have a certain significance in the prognosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.

Objective To establish the reference ranges of the spatial angles among cardiac chambers and great vessels in second and third trimester fetuses measured by spatiotemporal image correlation (STIC).Methods Volume images of 352 normal fetuses from 20 to 38 weeks of gestation were recruited in the study.An off-line analysis of acquired volume datasets was carried out with multiplanar mode.Parameters measured included angles between:(1) the 4-chamber view and the left ventricular long axis view; (2) the left ventricular long axis view and main pulmonary artery; and (3) the ductal arch and aortic arch.The relationships between above-mentioned angles and gestational age were assessed by correlation and regression analysis.Results The angle between the 4-chamber view and the left ventricular long axis view (range:55.7° - 35.7°,mean:45.7° ± 5.12°) was uncorrelated with gestational age (r = 0.03,P = 0.51).In contrast,the angle between the left ventricular long axis view and main pulmonary artery,and the angle between the ductal arch and aortic arch were correlated with gestational age (P ＜ 0.001),and the correlation coefficient was - 0.53 and 0.57 respectively.The best-fit exponential curve regression equations of the angle between the left ventricular long axis view and main pulmonary artery was:Y = 154- 4.24X +0.05X2 ,and the angle between the ductal arch and aortic arch was:Y = - 20.8 + 2.65X - 0.37X2.Conclusions The angles among cardiac chambers and great arteries of fetuses from 20 to 38 weeks of gestation can be quantitatively measured by STIC.The reference ranges provide a reliable quantitative standard to estimate the spatial relationships of the cardiac large arteries of fetuses,which may be clinically useful in prenatal screening congenital heart disease.

Objective To investigate the effect of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) combined with radiotherapy (RT) on the apoptosis of human cervical cancer HeLa cells.Methods The HeLa cells were divided into four groups treated with chemotherapy(ChT),RT,RT+ChT, and control groups.The non-cytotoxic concentration (48 h IC_(50)) of HeLa cells treated with 5-FU was determined by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) and the apoptosis rates of HeLa cells detected by flow cytometry with annexin V-FTTC and PI double labeling.The morphologic changes of the apoptosis cells were observed under fluorescence microsope.Results ChT,RT and RT+ChT treatment could induce the apoptosis of HeLa cells with the strong induction of the combined treatment (P＜0.05).Conclusion 5-FU combined with RT can obviously enhance the apoptosis of HeLa cells, which provides a reliable experimental evidence for clinical use of 5-FU combined with RT in the intervention of human cervical cancer.

AIM: To explore a new compute tomography (CT) for the localization of intraocular foreign bodies (IOFBs).METHODS: After CT ocular horizontal and ocular axial scan,the foreign bodies on the eyeball wall or retinal surface in 26eyes were localized by means of the combination of CT ocular axial scan and meridian plane reconstruction (new method),ocular horizontal scan and ocular axial scan (conventional method Ⅰ) as well as ocular horizontal scan right angle coordination (conventional method Ⅱ) separately. According to the criteria of indirect ophthalmoscope localization and direct observation during operation, the relative accuracies of corresponding points of the foreign bodies on sclera surface along meridian and latitude were measured.RESULTS: In the 26 cases, the mean relative accuracies of corresponding points of foreign bodies on sclera surface along meridian and latitude were 1.53mm、1.64mm (new method), 1.37mm、1.64mm (conventional method Ⅰ) and 2.02mm、2.55mm (conventional method Ⅱ) respectively.There was no statistical difference between the new method and the conventional method Ⅰ, whereas there was statistical difference between the new methods and the conventional method Ⅱ (along meridian: P＜0.05; along latitude:P＜0.01).CONCLUSION: Compared with the conventional methods,the new method is simpler, more visible and more potential in the clinic.

Objective To investigate the axonal lesion in chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy(CIDP).Methods Eighteen patients had undergone sural nerve biopsy.The clinical and electrophysiological distinction based on the different pathological changes were analyzed.Results Five patients with demyelination predominance which presented myelinated fiber with thin myelin.Three of them showed also mild axonal degeneration.Eight patients with axonal lesion predominance which presented Wallerian degeneration and regeneration of myelinated fibers.Three patients with mixed myelin and axon lesion of myelinated fibers and two with mild lesion.There was no significant difference between CIDP predominantly with axonal lesion and demyelination.Electrophysiological examination shows both axonal lesion and demyelination feature in some of the 2 types patients at the same time.Conclusions Axonal lesion is a common pathological change in CIDP and should not be considered as an exclusive criterion in diagnosis of the disease.Infiltration of macrophages is a common change.

Through collecting and collating the development process of traditional Chinese medicine dispensing, the development of modern Chinese medicine dispensing on the basis of experience could be promoted. "Heyaofenji", "Hehe", " Heji" in ancient Chinese medicine, herbal medicine literature and law were collected, and then things were sorted out according to traditional Chinese medicine dispensing theory, skills and legal norms. Firstly, "Tang Ye Jing Fa" is the earliest book which marks the rudiment of traditional Chinese medicine dispensing. Secondly, traditional Chinese medicine dispensing theory formed in "Shen Nong's herbal classic". Thirdly, Zhang Zhongjing's "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" marked the formation of Chinese medicine dispensing skills. Lastly, Provisions in Tang Dynasty law marks the development of traditional Chinese medicine dispensing.
