2. Establishment of androgen-independent human prostate cancer cell line model LNCaP-AI
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;29(1):59-62
Objective: To establish an androgen-independent human prostate cancer cell line model LNCaP-AI. Methods: LNCaP cells were cultured in absence of hormone for a long-term to establish LNCaP cell line LNCaP-AI, which can live without hormone. MTT, immunofluorescence and RT-PCR techniques were used to study the proliferation activity of LNCaP-AI cells and expression and secretion level of PSA by LNCaP-AI cells in absence of hormone. Results: After cultured for 3 months, LNCaP cells gradually became accustomed to the non-hormone condition, showing the characteristics of androgen-independent LNCaP-AI cell line. LNCaP-AI cells rapidly proliferated under the non-hormone condition and secreted PSA. However, PSA mRNA expression level in LNCaP-AI cells was 44% that of the LNCaP cells under hormone condition. Conclusion: Androgen-independent LNCaP-AI cell line may simulate the development of androgen-independence in prostate cancer cells and is an ideal model of androgen-independent prostate cancer cell line.

Objective To discuss the clinical application of multi-slice spiral CT angiography (MSCTA) in acute spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage .Methods 41 cases of acute spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage diagnosed with CT (including subarachniod cavity hemorrhage 29, intra-cerebral hematomas 12)were examined with MSCTA,the techniques of volume rendring (VR) and maximum intensity projection(MIP)were used. 7 cases of intracranial aneurysm closed by titanic clamp , 2 cases of cerebral arteriovenous malformation(AVM) and one case of AVM treated by intra-zest aneurysm excision, the post-operative MSCTA examination were received. Results 11 cases of intra-cerebral aneurysm, 4 cases of cerebral AVM and 1 case of AVM with intra-zest aneurysm were found among the 41 cases of acute spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage. MSCTA clearly demonstrated the size, neck and artery of aneurysms as well as the location, size ,zest shape, artery and vein of AVM. Pre-operative MSCTA findings of 7 cases of intracranial aneurysm clapped by titanic clap ,2 cases of cerebral AVM and 1 case of AVM treated by intra-zest aneurysm excision were confirmed with the operative findings.Post-operative MSCTA showed that the clamp location was normal; arteries were passable; zests of AVM were excised. Conclusion MSCTA is a non-injured, rapid and effective way to find the cause of acute spontaneous intracranial hemorrhage. It also has clinical application of post-operatiove assessment for intracranial aneurysm and cerebral AVM.
5.Pathogeneses of erectile dysfunction after rectal cancer treatment.
National Journal of Andrology 2014;20(6):558-561
Rectal cancer is a common malignancy in the alimentary tract with an increasing incidence, the current treatments of which include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and integrated comprehensive options. Sexual dysfunction, especially erectile dysfunction (ED), is one of the commonest complications in men after rectal cancer treatment and is generally attributed to the damage to the pelvic autonomic nerves. However, recent studies show that ED after rectal cancer treatment is a complex pathophysiological process associated with neurogenic, vasculogenic, and psychological factors. This article reviews the pathogeneses of ED after rectal cancer treatment in order to provide some theoretical evidence for its prevention and treatment.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2016;32(6):756-759,760
Gastric cancer has a high incidence and accounts for a notable proportion of global cancer mortality. The pathogenesis of gastric cancer is complex involving multiple genetic and epige-netic alterations factors. In recent years, studies have also dem-onstrated the aberrant regulation of miRNAs in a variety of tumor pathological processes including the gastric cancer through af-fecting cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis.miRNA also plays important roles in gastric cancer growing, invasion, metastasis, and drug resistance of gastric cancers, which might become new biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets in the future. This paper summarizes several important miRNAs in-volved in gastric cancer and also discusses their function.

Objective To investigate Shuxuening injection combined with deproteinized extract of calf blood on serum IGF-1, IL-1 and ICAM-1 level in patients with cerebral infarction recovery stage. Methods 120 patients with cerebral infarction were collected.According to the different drug treatment, 60 cases in each group were given corresponding drug treatment, on the basis of control group, the calf blood extract injection was given in experimental group. After the end of treatment, all patients blood rheology, IGF-1, IL-1 and ICAM-1 levels were tested. Results Compared with control group, the indexes of the patients in experimental group improved more significantly, whole blood viscosity, red blood cell pressure volume, platelet aggregation rate decreased significantly(P<0.05); serum IGF-1 levels in experimental group decreased significantly(P<0.05).The levels of serum IL-1, ICAM-1 in experimental group decreased significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion Shuxuening injection combined with deproteinized extract of calf blood can significantly reduce serum IGF-1, IL-1 and ICAM-1 levels in patients with cerebral infarction recovery stage, improve blood flow, reduce blood viscosity.

Objective To evaluate the safety and possibility of coronary intervention in uremic patients on dialysis. Methods Three uremic patients with unstable angina pectoris were treated successfully with percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty and stenting. In order to minimize the adverse effect on kidney due to contrast, non-ionic and low osmolar contrast medium was used and coronary angiography and intervention therapy were performed separately. Further protection of the renal function was effected by more frequent dialysis and increasing fluid administration. Results Coronary contrary shows the stenosis of multiple vessels in one patient, unique vessel lesion in two patients. One to four stents were placed. Clinical follow-up period of 12-18 months after procedure, angina pectoris disappeared in all three patients and no deterioration of renal function was noted. Conclusion It is possible to perform coronary angiography and stenting in uremic patients on hemodialysis successfully and safely, provided due attention was paid to the choice of contrast medium and protective measures for renal function.

Objective To discuss the indication, technique, effect, and safety of endoscopic treatment of SMT in gastrointestinal tract. Methods Endoscopic therapy was performed in 94 patients with gastrointestinal diagnosed by endoscopy. 22 cases underwent EMR; 61 cases were treated with ESD; MBM was exercised on 7 cases; and nylon endoloop ligature were carried out on 4 cases. Results Complete resection was achieved on 86 cases, and 1 case was excised partially. 1 patient with SMT was transferred to open surgery. Lumps of 4 SMT cases treated by nylon endoloop ligature were found disappeared at subsequent visit after a month. All patients were followed up for one year, and no recurrence was found. Conclusions Gastrointestinal SMT can be completely resected by EMR, ESD and MBM. Nylon endoloop ligature can be used for the treatment of SMT in position difficult to deal with. Endoscopic therapy is relatively safe, effective, and minimal invasion for SMT.

Sudden visual loss is a group of diseases of retina, with emotional factors being an important pathogeny. On the basis of summarizing the relationship between the psychological features of the sudden visual loss and seven emotional factors, we explore the application of the seven emotional factors in sudden visual loss, in order to treat a disease by looking into both its body and mind and enhance its therapeutic effects.
