1.Diagnosis and emergency treatment of intracranial hypotension syndrome in children
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2011;18(5):400-402
Intracranial hypotension syndrome is easily underestimated by doctors and patients, but its occurrence is not infrequent.Primary intracranial hypotension is usually associated with cerebral blood vessel disturbance and infections.Secondary intracranial hypotension is usually secondary to iatrogenic and other diseases or trauma. The main manifestation of intracranial hypotension syndrome is postural headache which may be diagnosed by cerebrospinal fluid pressure measurement during lumber puncture. The headache can disappear by posture adjustment in most children,or by water intake or intravenous administration of hypotonic (0.5%)or saline in serious case.Prognosis is good and precaution is most important for all.
2.Analysis of Clinical Control of Type 2 Diabetes in 7356 Outpatients
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(09):-
Objective To study the current status of clinical control of outpatients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, and to discuss the factors influencing on disease control. Methods According to the clinical targets recommended by Asian-Pacific Type 2 Diabetes Policy Group,we calculated the success rates of blood glucose, lipid profile, blood pressure and body mass index(BMI) of patients who hospitalized in our department for more than one year(group A,n=7 356), and compared these results with the corresponding rates calculated based on the earlier database(group B,n=1 084).The success rates of metabolic indexes of patients who insisted on hospitalizing monthly(group C,(n=1 367))were calculated.Besides, the factors influencing disease control were discussed through questionnaire.(Results)There were 7356 patients in group A,and the success rates of HbA1c,blood pressure, blood lipid profile and BMI were 30%,25.8%,32.6% ~ 81.3% and 50.9%,respectively.Except for the parameter of high-density lipoprotein, the other rates were higher than the responding ones of group B.There were 1367 patients in group C, and the success rates of main metabolic indexes were higher than those of group A and B.The result of the questionnaire indicated that poor understanding of diatetes, lack of health education, and relative scarcity of diplomate were the main factors that influenced the disease control. Conclusion The disease control of most of the type 2 patients with diabetes are far from satisfaction. The application of scientific disease care system is effective for improving the disease control.
3.Exploring of the Diabetes Care Model
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(09):-
Objective To explore the new diabetes care model. Methods A new flow for diabetic outpatient to visit the doctor, a uniform system for diagnosis, treatment and follow-up,an electronic medical record system, and a long-term diabetes education which mainly delighted patients on "diabetic self-management" were established.(Results)The service quality from the medical staff were improved markedly.Database including the clinical data of 10 020 patients and 2 563 serum samples and DNA samples were built up.A set of diabetes care model that laid the foundation for clinical and research work was formed. Conclusion Long-term education for patients with diabetes mellitus constitues the basic and important part of diabetic care model. The application of computer in diabetic care is the effective means. It is necessary to establish a uniform scheme for diagnosis, treatment and follow-up for the patients, and the improvement of medical staff's professional making ensures the successful implementation of the model. The combination of clinical practice and research work propels the development of scientific management model for patients with diabetes mellitus.

Pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF), a member of the serine protease inhibitor (serpin) family, is well known for its endogenous antiangiogenic activity. The down-regulation or depletion of PEDF has been shown in many tumor tissues, and it was proved to be correlated with the prognosis of tumor. At present, the biological properties of PEDF and the mechanism of its anti-tumor activity have become a focus research, and it provides theoretical foundation to the treatment of carcinoma.

Objective To comparatively observe features of choroidal osteoma by multimodal fundus imaging methods. Methods This is a retrospective case study.Sixteen patients (16 eyes) with choroidal osteoma were enrolled in this study. The patients included 6 males (6 eyes) and 10 females (10 eyes),with an average age of (30.5±2.4) years. All patients received examination of best-corrected visual acuity, slit lamp microscope, indirect ophthalmoscopy, fundus color photography, fundus autofluorescence (AF),fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) and spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT).The tumors were classified as fresh lesion (clear boundary and rosy tumor with smooth surface) and obsolete lesions (pale and flat tumor with obvious patches). The tumor features of color fundus photography,AF,FFA and SD-OCT were comparatively observed. Results There were 5 fresh lesions and 11 obsolete lesions.Color fundus photography showed the tumor color was orange-red or yellow-white with clear boundary and retinal blood vessels on the surface of the tumor. The color of fresh lesion was rosy.In general, choroidal osteoma shown weak AF,however AF of fresh tumor was slightly stronger than the obsolete tumor, and retinal detachment region showed relatively stronger AF.FFA of fresh tumor indicated uniform intense fluorescence with clear boundary at late stage, much stronger than obsolete tumor.SD-OCT showed mesh-like reflected signal in the choroidal layer, but different from the surrounding choroidal vascular structures. Conclusions The tumor color is orange-red or yellow-white in color funds photography, which shown weak AF.FFA showed mottled hyperfluorescence in the early stage and tissue staining at the late stage.SD-OCT showed mesh-like reflected signal in the choroidal layer.

Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy 1995;0(03):-
Objective: To transfect a recombinant short hairpin RNA(shRNA)expression vector targeting Livin gene isoform(BIRC71,BIRC72)into the cervical cancer cell line(Hela cell),in an attempt to observe RNAi-mediated silen- cing on Livin gene and the induction of Hela apoptosis. Methods: Hela cells were transfected with the recombinant plas- mid pGenesil-1-BIRC71,pGenesil-1-BIRC72 and pGenesil-1-HK via Lipofectamine~(TM)2000.The expression levels of Livin was determined in Hela cells before and after transfection by fluorescence quantitative real-time PCR and Western blotting. The apoptosis rate of cells was determined by FCM 24,48 and 72h after transfection. Results: The transfection efficiency at 48h was higher than those at 24 and 72h.After transfection with pGenesil-1-BIRC71 and pGenesil-1-BIRC72,gene and protein levels of Livin were significantly reduced(P
