Aim To understand the information absorbency of Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin, analyze the theoretical sources of its’ published articles and the trend of Pharmacological research , and find out the characteristics of literature request of the scientists working in the field of Pharmacological research. Method The citation analysis is used to analyze the references cited in 847 articles in Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin from 2001~2003. Result Citation rate is 85.24%, and 11.02 citations per article. Main types of citations are journals(94.88%) and books(4.90%). The Price Index is 42.72%, the self-citation rate is 3.81%. The references from the high-ranked 30 journals are the 30.14% of all the references. Conclusion The articles in Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin concern the lots of journals in the biomedicine, most citation are from the English journals, and the half-cited life is longer than other journals, citation ratio should be improved.

6. Data envelopment analysis-based evaluation of pharmacy efficiencies of military hospitals
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2010;30(5):553-557
Objective: To evaluate the relative efficiency of pharmacies in military hospitals, ao as to provide evidence for rational allocation in medicinals resources in hospitals. Metbods: Data envelopment analysis (DEA) was used to evaluate relative efficiencies of 71 pharmacies in military hospitals (also as decision making units, DMUs). The input factors included pharmacy personnela, equipment, areas of pharmacies, and development funds; the output factors included drug charge, clinical pharmaceutical service, pharmaceutical information service, academic achievements and research activities. Decomposition of the pharmacy efficiencies under different economic conditions was performed to evaluate the scale efficiency (SE) , the resource disposal efficiency (DE) and the technical efficiency (TE). Pearson correlation analysis and chi-square teat were used for statistic analysis. Results: DEA results showed that the relative efficiency of the 28 pharmacies was 1, they were DEA effective; the relative efficiency of the 43 DMUs was less than 1 ,indicating the presence of efficiency loss. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that hospital grade, bed number, clinical time of pharmacists, HR flow-in rate, proportions of pharmacists with undergraduate or graduate diploma ,bed utilization rate, etc. were correlated with the 5 output factors. Five multiple linear regression equation were established. We also found that the distribution of pharmacies of SE, DE, and TE non- efficiency were significantly different between hospitals of different grades; the distribution of pharmacies of DE, and TE non-efficiency were significantly different between hospitals located in different regions. Pearson correlation analysis showed that the DEA efficiency of pharmacies was correlated with hospital grade, not with the area or the city where the hospitals located. Conclusioa: The grades of military hospitals and the subsequent effective allocation of resources and technologies may be the key factor to increase the efficiencies of pharmacies.
7. Effects of miRNA-136 overexpression on S100 calcium binding protein A6 contents, proliferation and apoptosis in HCT116 cells
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2012;33(9):940-945
Obejective To investigate the effect of exogenous microRNA 136(mir136) on contents of S100 calcium binding protein A6 (S100A6) and proliferation in human colon cancer cell line HCT116 through constructing a eukaryotic expression vector of mir136 (pcDNA-mir136) and cationic liposome-mediated transfection. Methods Human genomic DNA was extracted from HEK293 cells and the DNA fragment containing mir136 precursor sequence was amplified by PCR and cloned into pcDNA to construct pcDNA-mir136. The plasmid was transfected into HCT116 cells via cationic liposome. The content of mir136 was determined by Real-time PCR, S100A6 protein was examined by Western blotting analysis, and apoptosis was detected by Flow Cytometry at 48 h after transfection. The proliferation ability of the tumor cells was examined by CCK-8 at 24 and 48 hours after transfection. Results The eukaryotic expression vector of mir136 was successfully constructed and transfected into HCT116 cells. Expression of mir136 was significantly higher in the transfected group than that in the untransfected group (P<0.01) and the content of S100A6 protein was significantly lower than that of the untransfected group (P<0.05) 48 h after transfection. Meanwhile, cell proliferation activity of the transfected group was significantly lower than that of the untransfected group (P<0.05) and cell apoptosis was significantly increased compared with the untransfected group (P<0.01).Conclusion Mir136 may inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis of HCT116 cells by inhibiting the expression of S100A6 gene.

Objective:To repair unilateral incomplete cleft lip with Noordhoof's incomplete cheiloplasty. To analyze the properties of the technique and to emphasize the key points of the operation design and manipulation. Methods:52 cases of unilateral incomplete cleft lip were received Noordhoff treatment. The characterization of operative method, results and attention were analyzed. Results: 51 cases are totally healed successfully except 1 case is healed successfully by re-operation for losing balance onto the floor. Conclusion: With Noordhoof's surgical technique for unilateral incomplete cleft lip, parenchyma of the lip is utilized mostly, the nosewing outboard incision is avoided. The shape of vermilion is more satisfactory.

Objective: This study aims to investigate the correlation between the expression of FoxP3, TGF-β1, and epitheli-al-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer and to determine the clinical significance of FoxP3. Methods: The expression of FoxP3, TGF-β1, E-Cadherin, N-Cadherin, Vimentin, and Fibronectin protein were detected in the cancer cells of 74 cases with breast carcinoma via immunohistochemistry. The correlation of FoxP3 protein with clinico-pathologic features of breast carcinoma and the re-lationships among the expressions of FoxP3, TGF-β1, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) were analyzed. Results:The ex-pression rates of FoxP3, TGF-β1, and EMT are 36.5%(27/74), 39.2%(29/74), and 40.5%(30/74), respectively. The FoxP3 protein ex-pression in breast cancer is correlated with lymph node metastasis (P<0.05) but not with other clinico-pathological features (P>0.05). The expression of FoxP3 is also correlated with the expression of TGF-β1. Furthermore, TGF-β1 can induce EMT (P<0.05). Conclu-sion:The expression of FoxP3 is correlated with lymph node metastasis and EMT in breast cancer. Therefore, FoxP3 may be a marker for predicting metastasis.

Objective To investigate the association of single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)in regulated upon activation normal T cell expressed and secreted (RANTES) gene C-28G(RANTES C-28G),RANTES A-403G and Eotaxin-3 gene C +77T(Eotaxin-3 C+77T) with asthma in Han ethnic children. Methods The buccal mucosa swabs of 192 Han ethnic children with asthma (asthma group) were collected, and polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) was employed to detect the SNP loci of RANTES A-403G,C-28G and Eotaxin-3 C+77T.Besides,another 192 healthy subjects (aged 18 to 22 years) without sibship with those in asthma group were served as controls.Genotype and genotypic distribution between these two groups were analysed. Results There was no significant differences in genotype and genotypic distribution of SNP loci of RANTES A-403G and RANTES C-28G between asthma group and control group (P>0.05),while there were significant differences in genotypic distribution of Eotaxin-3 C+77T between these two groups. The frequency of Eotaxin-3 C+77T T/T genotype in asthma group was significantly higher than that in control group (32.3% vs 12.5%,OR=3.44,P=0.000). Conclusion Eotaxin-3 C+77T may be the asthma susceptible SNP loci for Han ethnic children, and Eotaxin-3 C+77T T/T is significantly related with the development of childhood asthma
