1.Advance in the impact of mesenchymal stem cells on tumor growth
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2008;17(5):398-400
Mesenchymal stem cells is another adult stem cells in bone marrow apart from hematopoietic stem cells.Because of their strong self-renewal capacity and the potential of multi-lineage differentiation.mesenehymal stem cells are used more and more in the treatment of malignant diseases, such as hematological malignant diseases and extensively applied in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. However, the exact role of mesenehymal stem cells on tumor is not completely clear. This review is about the impact of mesenchymal stem cells on tumor growth and the related mechanism.

Objective To investigate the effect of p38MAPK on the RANTES expression after unilateral ureteral obstruction. Methods Twenty-two rats were randomly assigned to shame operation group (normal group) and operation group after unilateral ureteral obstruction.Renal tissues were examined by light microscopy at 8 h、24 h and 72 h after operation,Immunhistochemistry was applied to measure the expression of RANTES,RT-PCR,Western blot was performed to determine mRNA,protein, respectively. Results Compared with shame opeartion group, the mRNA and protein levels of RANTES in renal interstitum of operation group remarkly increased (P<0.05),and also stimulated the phosphorylation of p38MAPK.Conclusion The overexpression of RANTES in UUO rats by p38MAPK signal transduction pathway.

Targeting drug delivery system (TDDS) is one of the most concerned research fields in cancer treatment because it can bind selectively and react with the target diseased sites at the cellular or sub-cellular level, making distribution and release of drugs in a controlled manner, thus enhance therapeutic effects and reduce toxic and side-effects on normal cells. Polyamidoamine dendrimer (PAMAMD) is a kind of newly developed polymer in nanometer degree. Hyper-branched, monodispersity, three-dimensional structure and host-guest entrapment ability make it used as drug carrier, gene delivery system and imaging agent. Various targeting ligands, which have high affinity to specific organs, tissues or cells in human body, can be linked to surface functional groups of PAMAMD. And drugs and theoretical gene are carried by encapsulation or chemical conjugation. Finally, PAMAMD targeting drug delivery system can carry drugs and theoretical gene to diseased sites and then release them for targeted therapy. The PAMAMD-based conjugates have small size, ligh permeability and retention effect (EPR), low toxicity and so on. The research progress of PAMAMD modified by different ligands in targeting drug delivery system is reviewed, and research direction of the PAMAMD targeting delivery system in the future is also suggested.
6.Treatment of Cranialfacial Fibrous Dysplasia
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(07):-
Objective To discuss the treatment of cranialfacial fibrous dysplasia. Methods The treatment of 10 cases of cranialfacial fibrous dysplasia was analyzed. Results The cosmetic deformity was corrected in all the cases. No new symptom of nervous system occurred. Conclusion It is important to carry out the correct surgical plan according to patients' age,location,mono-or poly-ostotic form of fibrous dysplasia, presence or absence of functional limitations, and aesthetic problem.

9.Combined Probe for Determining Canal Filing Cutting Path.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(5):1009-1012
In order to help a surgeon to determine a proper canal filing cutting path in a hip replacement operation conveniently, this paper presents a kind of probe with combined structure. Firstly, the doctor can use this kind of combined probe to choose canal filing cutting path. Then, the doctor can use computer to guide the surgeon to file femoral cavity along the selected canal filing cutting path. Through hip replacement corpse experiments, filing effects and used time of using combined probe group and separate control group were analyzed. The experiment results showed that the methods introduced in this paper could lower the difficulty of hip replacement operations, improve the implantation of hip stem prostheses further, and reduce the incidence of surgical complications.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(5):975-982
Ultrasound diffraction tomography (UDT) possesses the characteristics of high resolution, sensitive to dense tissue, and has high application value in clinics. To suppress the artifact and improve the quality of reconstructed image, classical interpolation method needs to be improved by increasing the number of projections and channels, which will increase the scanning time and the complexity of the imaging system. In this study, we tried to accurately reconstruct the object from limited projection based on compressed sensing. Firstly, we illuminated the object from random angles with limited number of projections. Then we obtained spatial frequency samples through Fourier diffraction theory. Secondly, we formulated the inverse problem of UDT by exploring the sparsity of the object. Thirdly, we solved the inverse problem by conjugate gradient method to reconstruct the object. We accurately reconstructed the object using the proposed method. Not only can the proposed method save scanning time to reduce the distortion by respiratory movement, but also can reduce cost and complexity of the system. Compared to the interpolation method, our method can reduce the reconstruction error and improve the structural similarity.
