1.Advance in the impact of mesenchymal stem cells on tumor growth
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2008;17(5):398-400
Mesenchymal stem cells is another adult stem cells in bone marrow apart from hematopoietic stem cells.Because of their strong self-renewal capacity and the potential of multi-lineage differentiation.mesenehymal stem cells are used more and more in the treatment of malignant diseases, such as hematological malignant diseases and extensively applied in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. However, the exact role of mesenehymal stem cells on tumor is not completely clear. This review is about the impact of mesenchymal stem cells on tumor growth and the related mechanism.

Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2006;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the effect of p38MAPK on the RANTES expression after unilateral ureteral obstruction. Methods Twenty-two rats were randomly assigned to shame operation group (normal group) and operation group after unilateral ureteral obstruction.Renal tissues were examined by light microscopy at 8 h、24 h and 72 h after operation,Immunhistochemistry was applied to measure the expression of RANTES,RT-PCR,Western blot was performed to determine mRNA,protein, respectively. Results Compared with shame opeartion group, the mRNA and protein levels of RANTES in renal interstitum of operation group remarkly increased (P<0.05),and also stimulated the phosphorylation of p38MAPK.Conclusion The overexpression of RANTES in UUO rats by p38MAPK signal transduction pathway.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(02):-
Objective To construct an eukaryotic expression plasmid containing gene coding for the hemagglutinin-neuraminidase(HN)of newcastle disease virus(NDV)oncolytic strain Italien, and then to express the protein in eukaryotic cell.Method The HN cDNA was synthesized from viral RNA by RT-PCR,and the eukaryotic expression vector of HN gene(named pcDNA3.1-HN)was constructed. The vector pcDNA3.1-HN was transfected into CHO-K1 cell by liposome, and G418 was used to select stable clones expressing HN gene. The expression of HN protein was visualized by Western blot and Immunofluorescence microscopy. Results Restriction analysis and DNA sequencing proved that HN gene was correctly cloned into expression vector.Western blot analysis and immunofluorescence showed that the HN was expressed in CHO-K1 cells. Conclusion The HN cDNA of NDV was successfully cloned into eukaryotic vector which showed good expression of HN protein in CHO-K1 cells.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(24):-
[Objective]To study the clinical manifestation, early diagnosis and surgical outcomes of traumatic thoracic disc herniation.[Method]Eleven patients of traumatic thoracic disc herniation were selected from June 2000 to June 2005.There were 8 males and 3 females with an average age of 23.96 years old(ranged,15-38 years old). The average time from traumatism to diagnosis were 4.1 months(range,2 days to 8 months). After early clinical diagnosis, discectomy through posterolateral transpedicular approach were carried out for all 11 patients.[Result]All 11 patients were followed up for an average time of 2.6 years(range,1.1~3.8 years).According to Otani's classification criterion, the results were excellent in 7cases,good in 3 cases, fair in I cases,no poor case and failure case. The excellent and good results were obtained in 90.91% of the patients.[Conclusion]The incidence of traumatic thoracic disc herniation is rather low,and this disease has no representative symptom and sign.Early diagnosis and operative treatment is a very effective guarantee to curative effect for traumatic thoracic disc herniation.
