Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2014;30(21):6-8
Objective To conduct prospective randomized controlled clinical observation on patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma under chemotherapy and radiotherapy using inhaling therapy with recombinant human interleukin 11,and the preventing and curing effect of recombinant human interleukin 11 on radiation-induced pharyngitis is evaluated. Methods 161 cases of newly diagnosed patients with head and neck cancer were selected under the principle of informed consent and these 161 cases were divided into the observation group (87 cases) and the control group (74 cases) based on randomization principle. In the observation group, when the dose reached 20Gy,then recombinant human interleukin-11 inhaling therapy was applied `ll the end of radiotherapy, for the control group, conventional treatment was applied in the event of radioactive throat.RTOG criteria were used during the observation in patients with the occurrence and treatment of radioactive pharyngitis. Results When compared with the control group, the average time for radioactivity to appear was prolonged, the severity decreased and the healing time was shortened in the observation group, those data were statistically significant. Conclusions Recombinant human interleukin-11 inhaling therapy can prevent and cure inhalation of radioactive pharyngitis and this therapy is better than conventional treatment. It's worthy of further study and clinical application.
3.The level and clinical significance of serum anti-lysosomal associated membrane protein-2 antibody in patients with ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis
Chinese Journal of Nephrology 2014;30(7):494-498
Objective To investigate the relationship of the serum anti-lysosome associated membrane protein 2 (LAMP-2) antibody levels and anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA)-associated glomerulonephritis. Methods Thirty-three patients with new onset ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis and thirty healthy controls were enrolled.ANCA detection was performed using indirect immunofluorescence (IIF).Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect myeloperoxidase (MPO),proteinase-3 (PR3) and other ANCA-associated antibodies including LAMP-2.The cut-off value of the serum anti-LAMP-2 antibody was determined by a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Results The serum levels of anti-LAMP-2 antibody in new onset ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis patients were significantly higher than remission stage ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis patients and healthy controls (P < 0.05).The serum levels of anti-LAMP-2 antibody showed no visible difference between the remission ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis patients and healthy controls (P > 0.05).The levels of anti-LAMP-2 antibody showed a strong positive correlation with ESR,Scr,BUN,proteinuria, crescent proportion and Birmingham vasculitis activity score (BVAS) and a negative correlation with Ccr,Hb and Alb.Conclusions Anti-LAMP-2 antibody is correlated with the activity of ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis and the severity of renal damage. It may be a useful indicator on the activity of ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis.

6.New methods to detect autophagic flux.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2016;51(1):45-51
Autophagy is a crucial biological process of eukaryotes, which is involved in cell growth, survival and energy metabolism, while the premise of the autophagy function is activated autophagic flux. It has been confirmed that impaired autophagic flux promotes pathogenesis of many chronic inflammatory diseases, especially cancer, neurodegenerative disease and tissue fibrosis, therefore the analysis of autophagic flux state is important for revealing autophagy function and the mechanism of autophagy related diseases. Given that autophagy is a dynamic process with multiple steps, it is very hard to observe the real state of autophagic flux. Summarized here is the novel concept and current approach to detect autophagic flux. This knowledge is crucial for the researching of the biological function of autophagy, and may provide some strategies for developing autophagy-related drug.
