MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small,non-coding,single-stand RNA molecules which are composed of 21-25 ribonucleotides. They regulate gene expression at post-transcription and participate in many important biological processes including cell growth, apoptosis, viral infection and cancer development. At present, the studies on miRNAs in cervical lesion include miRNAs expression characteristic of cervical cancer and precancerous lesion, the association with HPV infection and prognosis of cervical lesion, cervical cancer development, diagnosis and therapy.
2.Application of micro-power system in the surgery of tooth extraction.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2015;33(1):1-5
Tooth extraction is a common operation in oral surgery. Traditional-extraction instruments, such as bone chisel, elevator, and bone hammer, lead to not only severe trauma but also unnecessary complications, and patients easily become nervous and apprehensive if tooth extraction is performed using these violent instruments. In recent years, with the develop- ment of minimally invasive concept and technology, various micro-power instruments have been used for tooth extraction. This innovative technology can reduce the iatrogenic trauma and complications of tooth extraction. Additionally, this technology can greatly decrease the patient's physical and mental pressure. The new equipment compensates for the deficiency of traditional tooth extraction equipment and facilitates the gradual replacement of the latter. Diverse micro-power systems have distinct strengths and weaknesses, so some auxiliary instruments are still needed during tooth extraction. This paper focuses on the various micro-power systems for tooth extraction and tries to compare the advantages and disadvantages of these systems. Selection and usage of auxiliary equipment are also introduced. Thus, this paper provides reference for the proper application of the micro-power systems in tooth extraction.

This article summarized the clinical treatment forinsomnia from manyaspects, such as treatment according to the TCM patterns differentiationof internal organs, herbal medicine, acupuncture, life-style adjustment and other common therapies.
4.A study on the ultrasonic-knife based on the maths model of a reflecting ellipsoid
Chinese Journal of Medical Physics 2001;18(1):51-53
The study was based on the maths model of waves which were reflected by a reflecting ellipsoid and whose distributing of energy in the ellipsoid. We developed an equipment by ellipsoidal focus to substitute for energy based on the research. The equipment has the characteristics of revolving therapy as the X-knife and the γ-knife which can be used in 3D therapy. We call the system ″Ultrasonic-knife″ which were used in 3D hyperthermia. The equipment simulates an source of energy by the ellipsoidal focus. The source can be put in the tumor in deep organ. It also avoids some shortcomings, just as heat is in limit area and temperature is too high in the focus. We could do an ideal conformal therapy by a reasonable treatment planning.
5.Imaging presentation of pancreatic cystic lesions
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2013;(2):151-155
Pancreatic cystic lesions are being recognized increasingly due to the development of computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.Differential diagnosis between pseudocysts and cystic tumors is the key point for pancreatic cystic lesions.Patients with pancreatic pseudocysts generally have a history of acute or chronic pancreatitis, whereas patients with cystic tumors did not have such a history. Some pancreatic cystic lesions did not have typical imaging presentations, and they were difficult to be diagnosed.Pancreatic cystic lesions could be divided into unilocular cysts, microcystic lesions, macrocystic lesions and cysts with a solid component according to the presentations under computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. This typing system is helpful for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of pancreatic cystic tumors,as well as for the guidance of therapy.
6.Prevention of re-adhesion after high dose estradiol valerate and hysteroscopy regular inspection after separation of severe intrauterine adhesions
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(18):41-43
Objective To investigate the prevention of re-adhesion after high dose estradiol valerate and hysteroscopy regular inspection after separation of severe intrauterine adhesions. Methods A total of 97 severe intrauterine adhesions patients after transcervical resection of adhesions were divided into group A,B,C:group A placed intrauterine device and oral intook progynova 1 mg/d after 2 days of surgery,3 times/d,for 3 months; group B placed intrauterine device and oral intook progynova 3 mg/d after 2 days of surgery,3 times/d,for 3 months; group C with the same treatment as group B with further hystemscopy regular inspection every month.Regular follow-up data were collected in the following 3 months to compare endometrial thickness,re-adhesion occurrence and treatment effect in different groups. Results After 3 months of treatment, endometrial thickness of group B and group C was higher than that in group A [(0.83 ± 0.23),(0.99 ± 0.28) cm vs.(0.54 ± 0.18) cm],group C was higher than group B,and there were significant differences (P< 0.05).The effective rate in group B and group C was higher than that in group A [75.00%(24/32),90.32%(28/31) vs.61.76%(21/34)],group C was higher than group B,and there were significant differences (P< 0.05).The occurrence rate of re-adhesion in group B and group C was lower than that in group A [21.88%(7/32),9.68%(3/31)vs.38.23%(13/34)],group C was higher than group B,and there were significant differences (P < 0.05).Conclusion The prevention of re-adhesion after high dose estradiol valerate and hysteroscopy regular inspection is effective and superior.
7.THE TOXICITY OF XIXIN OIL AND ITS EFFECT ON EKG OF RABBITS
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(04):-
Xixin [Asarum heterotropoides Fr. Schmidt Var mandshuricum ( Maxim ) kitag] is a Chinese drug which has a little toxicityas recorded in ancient Chinese medical books. It was demon-strated in this article that the toxicity of Xixin was caused by itsessential oil. When the mice were administered with Xixin oil and its decoction without oil in equal doses separately, the mortality rate for the oil group was 70%, whereas no death was observed in the group of decoction without oil. By synchronous recording the EKG and EEG of cerebral cortex, hippocampus and reticular formation of midbrain in the rabbits, it was revealed that the EKG underwent following changes after the administration of Xixin oil: fast wave of low amplitude→slow wave of high amplitude→slow wave of low amplit ude→burst-suppression pattern→electrical silence. EEG vanished after the electrical silence of cerebral cortex, hippocampus and midbrain reticular formation. The LD50 and ED50 of Xixin oil was calculated 27.0?0.4ml/kg and 18.3?0.8ml/kg respectively, safety coefficient 1.47, being significantly less than control drug sodium amytal.
8.Biological Characterization of the Lipopolysaccharide (Endotoxin) Extracted from Bacteroides fragilis NCTC 9343
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1985;0(06):-
In this study, biological activities of the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) extracted from Bacteroides fraglis NCTC 9343 were measured in animals. The results showed that LPS expressed typical endotoxicities, e.g. pyrogenicity in rabbits, lethality in mice and chick embryoes, ability to induce local Shwartzman reaction and coagulability for limulus emoebcyte lysate. But its biological activities were lower compared with that of Enterobacteriaceae. It is suggested that the weaker biological activities are related to the unusual chemical structure of the LPS.
9.Mediation of neurotransmitters in the cardioprotection of ischemic preconditioning
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1998;0(S1):-
Ischemic preconditioning has been defined as a tolerance of the myocardium to subsequent sustained ischemic damage after the heart was insulted one or more brief periods of ischemic stress. The cardioprotective effect of ischemic preconditioning may be mediated by endogenous cardiovascular active substances. Neurotransmitters, including catecholamines, acethylcholine, calci-tonin gene-related peptide and opioids, may be endogenous myocardial protective substances, and participate in the mediation of ischemic preconditioning. Exogenous administration of neurotrans-mitters can mimic the cardioprotective effect of ischemic preconditioning. There is interactions of some neurotransmitters with other endogenous active substances. The mechanism by which neurotransmitters are involved in the cardioprotective effect of ischemic preconditioning is thought to activate their corresponding receptors, with a subsequent triggering cellular signaling pathway, resulting in myocardial protection.
10.The Study on Content of Myosin Light Chain Phosphatase of SHR' Different Organs.
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the relationship between MLCP and hypertension pathomechanism of SHR by comparing 130 kD、38 kD、21 kD subunits in aorta, heart, kidney and brain of spontaneously hypertensive rat(SHR) and Wistar Kyoto rat(WKY).Methods The aorta, heart, kidney and brain were obtained from 10 SHRs and 10 WKY rats, and each tissue was freshly removed and weighed and rapidly frozen in liquid nitrogen, homogenized with buffer solution, total protein concentration was rectified according to the methods of Bradford, and SDS-PAGE、Western blots and chemo-luminescence were carried out to determine the content of three subunits, the results were estimated by ABS.t-Test and ANOVA were used to analyzed data. Results The contents of 130kDa,38kDa,21kDa subunits of SHR among the different organs were markedly different, the highest contents of 130kDa was located in the aorta;but the kidney had the highest contents of 38kDa subunit and 21kDa subunit was the highest in the aorta too. Conclusion The difference among the contents of 130kDa subunit、38kDa subunit and 21kDa subunit of SHR and WKY in the different organs implied that abnormity of MLCP' structure and function was associated with hypertension pathomechanism of SHR.
