1.Combination of radiotherapy and chemotherapy in locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer

The main methods to treat locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer are radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The combination of radiotherapy and chemotherapy includes sequential chemoradiotherapy and concurrent chemoradiotherapy. The effectiveness of concurrent chemoradiotherapy is superior to that of sequential chemoradiotherapy, but the toxicity of concurrent chemoradiotherapy increases as well. 2.Effect of Meridian-thumbing Therapy on Flexion Deformity on Knees of Children with Cerebral Palsy

Objective To observe the effect of meridian-thumbing therapy on flexion deformity on knees of children with cerebral palsy(CP).Methods The therapy of thumbing the points from Chengfu to Chengshan of the meridian of Foot Taiyang Bladder was used for 40 CP children with flexion deformity on knees.Results After three months treatment,the positive flexion of knee joint in 40 children improved significantly than before(P<0.001).Conclusion The therapy of meridian-thumbing has obvious effect on flexion deformity on knees of CP children.

4.Clinical, electromyography and genetic features of hereditary neuropathy with liability to pressure palsies phenotype in children (report of 1 case)

Objective To explore the clinical , EMG and genetic characteristics of children with hereditary neuropathy with liability to pressure palsies phenotype (HNPP).Methods One case of HNPP diagnosed by gene were reported, and combined with the literature , the clinical, electromyography and genetic characteristics were summarized.Results Female patient, 11 years and 8 months, left foot could not be dorsal flexion and numbness appeared after the movement in 10 d before admission ,EMG showed multiple peripheral nerve injury .Patient's father and uncle were very similar to the history .Genetic examination showed 1363.2 kb heterozygous deletion on the chr17:14095421 -15458636, and the diagnosis was HNPP .Conclusions When limb weakness happened in children after slight stretch or compression , perform EMG examination as early as possible .Children with extensive peripheral nerve damage , limited limb paralysis , and a similar family history , should pay attention to HNPP , and gene examination should be given .
5.Effect of Baofukang suppository and policresulen in the treatment of cervical erosion

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Baofukang suppository and policresulen in the treat-ment of cervical erosion,and to observe and analyze the safety,thus to provide the basis for clinical treatment.Methods 268 patients with cervical erosion were selected,they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,134 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Baofukang suppository on the basis of conventional treatment.The observation group received Baofukang suppository and policresulen treatment.To assess the treatment effect of the two groups,and the wound healing time,improvement of the symptoms or signs and the vaginal adverse reactions were observed.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 88.81% (119 /134),which was higher than that of the control group 79.85% (107 /134),the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =9.87, P <0.05).The wound healing time of the observation group was (23.31 ±1.78)d,which was shorter than that of the control group (27.58 ±1.96)d,the difference was statistically significant (t =11.20,P <0.05).The incidence rates of lumbosacral pain,leucorrhea and purulent secretions of the observation group after treatment were 9.70%(13 /134),5.94% (8 /134)and 3.73% (13 /134),which were lower than those in the control group after treatment [14.93%(20 /134),12.69% (17 /134)and 11.94% (16 /134)],and after treatment two groups were lower than those before treatment,there were statistically significant differences (χ2 =9.96,9.81,10.12,all P <0.05).After treatment,the contact bleeding of the observation group and the control group were 0.00% (0 /134)and 1.49%(2 /134),which were lower than those before treatment,the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =11.30,10.06, all P <0.05).The incidence rate of vagina adverse reaction of the observation groups was 17.16% (23 /134),that of the control group was 17.91% (24 /134),there was no statistically significant difference (P >0.05).Conclusion Baofukang suppository combined with policresulen has better clinical curative effect in the treatment of cervical ero-sion,which can shorten the wound healing time,reduce symptoms or signs of patients,and has high security.

7.Effects of preconditioning with emulsified isoflurane on Inflammatory response to myocardial ischemiareperfusion injury in rats

Objective To investigate the effects of preconditioning with emulsified isoflurane(eISO)on inflammatory response to myocardial ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)injury in rats.Methods Forty SD rats of both sexes weighing 250-280 g were randomly allocated into 4 groups(n =10 each):groupⅠ sham operation(S);group Ⅱ myocardial I/R + normal saline(NS); group Ⅲ I/R + eISO and group Ⅳ I/R + 30% intralipid(Ⅱ.)(vehicle for eISO).Myocardial ischemia was induced by occlusion of anterior descending branch of left coronary artery for 30 min followed by 180 min reperfusion.NS,30% intralipid and elSO 2 ml/kg were infused iv over 30 min at 30 min before myocardial ischemia in groups Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ respectively.The animals were killed at the end of 180 min repeffusion.Their hearts were removed for determination of infarct size and myocardial NF-κB p65 and ICAM-1 expression(by immuno-histochemistry)and plasma concentration of TNF-t(by radioimmunoassay).Results Myocardial I/R induced myocardial infarct and significantly increased plasina TNF-a concentration and myocardial ICAM-1 and NF-κB p65 expression in gro up Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ as compared with'sham operation group (Ⅰ).Plasma TNF-a concentration and myocardial ICAM-1 and NF-kB p65 expression were significantly lower in group Ⅲ(eISO)than in group Ⅱ and Ⅳ.Conclusion Down-regulation of myocardial NF-kB and ICAM-1 expression and inhihition of inflammatoy response are involved in the mechanism by which preconditioning with iv elso protects against myocardial I/R injury.

9.Research advances on colon cancer stem cells

Colon cancer stem cells(Co-CSCs)are a small fraction of subgroup cells,which show the capabilities of self-renewal,proliferation and differentiation in colon cancer.Co-CSCs are tumorgenic,and they play an important role in the genesis development and metastasis of tumor.These studies of Co-CSCs may help developing effective targets and novel strategies for clinical tumor therapy.
10.Clinical and evidence-based study of coagulopathy after traumatic brain injury
