Proteins extracted from two varieties of Chinese roses leaves were separated by two- dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (2-DE) with immobilized pH gradient (IPG). Many difference proteins were isolated with molecular weights ranging 10-30 kDa and pI5-6. Three proteins of high levels observed in a gel were excised and identified using peptide mass fingerprinting and MS-MS. A summary of the identified proteins and their putative functions are presented. They are identified as eIF-5A、LEA protein and Hsp17. 5. Functions of these proteins in plant tolerance to high temperature were discussed.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) in treating advanced bladder cancer. Methods A total of 22 patients with advanced bladder cancer were included in this study. The clinical data and the imaging materials were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical efficacy of TAE in treating advanced bladder cancer was evaluated. Results TAE was successfully accomplished in all the 22 patients. The preoperative and the postoperative abdominal pain scores were 4.73± 1.91 and 2.45±1.29 respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); the preoperative and the postoperative ECOG scores were 3.14±0.47 and 2.68±0.56 respectively (P<0.05); the preoperative and the postoperative hemoglobin levels were (61.4±11.8) g/L and (79.3±14.5) g/L respectively (P<0.01). Of 7 patients with urinary tract obstruction, after the treatment the obstruction disappeared in 5 and was improved in 2, although the urination was still not smooth. All patients were followed up for (7.1±3.0) months. The 6-month survival rate was 54.5% (12/22). No serious complications occurred in all patients. Conclusion TAE can not only effectively improve the hematuria and urinary tract obstruction symptoms caused by bladder cancer, but also effectively control the tumor growth, improve the quality of life and prolong the survival time as well.

Objective:To explore the methods to improve the professional core competencies of medical students in the standardized residency training. Methods:A total of 82 medical students who participated in the standardized residency training ("resident students" for short) in the same period were selected in this study, and the self-edited professional core competencies textbooks were used for regular theoretical study, and at the same time, clinical practice cases were collected for regular scenario reduction teaching. When the resident students entered the department and after 12 months of the standardized training, the professional core competencies training evaluation scale was used to evaluate and compare the scores of the resident students, and the value of the above-mentioned training model to improve the professional core competencies of the resident students was evaluated. SPSS 18.5 was performed for t test between groups. Results:After being trained by the above model, the selected students had significantly improved such competencies as communication, cooperation and problems solving ( P<0.05). Compared with the scores of resident students before and after the training, there was no significant difference in communication and cooperation with other students ( P>0.05), with low satisfactory communication with the leader ( P>0.05), but the problem-solving ability had been significantly improved ( P<0.05), while the score of which was low and it should be pay more attention to in the future training. Conclusion:In the process of standardized residency training, the application of the above-mentioned training model can significantly improve the professional core competencies of resident students, and at the same time, it's necessary to strengthen the cultivation of satisfactory communication with leaders and problem solving ability.

Objective:To discuss the computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging features of primary adrenal cortical carcinoma (PACC) and improve the imaging diagnostic level of primary adrenocortical carcinoma. Methods:The imaging features of 15 patients with biopsy or pathology confirmed PACC were retrospectively analiezed. There were 12 patients underwent CT examination, 7 patients underwent MR examination, and 4 patients underwent CT and MR exminations. Results:All of 15 PACCs were unilateral (10 on the right, 5 on the left). The maximum diameters of the lesions ranged from 4.4 to 15.1 (8.9±3.3)cm. The shape of the tumor was oval in 6 cases and irregular in 9 cases. CT findings: 1 cases showed homogeneous density and 11 cases were heterogeneous attenuation (including 2 cases with hemorrhage and 1 case with fat) on plain scan. The CT values of triple-phase of PACC ranged from 28.8 to 62.0(39.2±8.5)HU, 32.7 to 83.4(52.5±14.4)HU and 43.4 to 86.4(61.1±15.0)HU respectively. All cases showed mild (7 cases) and moderate (4 cases) gradual enhancement, only one case excluded. MRI findings: inhomogeneous mild and moderate enhancement were detected in 6 cases and homogeneneous enhancement was found in 1 case. The solid parts of PACC showed iso-signal intensity in T1WI, hyper-signal intensity in T2WI and diffusion limited in the diffusion weighted imaging (DWI). There were 14 cases of vascular shadow in 15 patients, and 3 cases of involvement and metastasis of surrounding tissues and organs. Conclusions:PACC often present as a big solitary heterogenous mass with necrotic area, hemorrhage and intratumoral vascular. The mild to moderate heterogenous gradual enhancement can be seen after the contrast.
