1.Research progress of osteopontin and ocular neovascular diseases
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2014;32(12):1140-1143
Ocular neovascularization is the primary cause of blindness in a wide range of ocular diseases. The common blinding diseases, including diabetic retinopathy,age-related macular degeneration, infectious keratitis, are all caused by neovascularization.Osteopontin (OPN) is a glycoprotein, which can promote angiogenesis and tissue repair. It is aboudantly expressed in corneal neovascularization, choroidal neovascularization and retinal neovascularization, and promotes angiogenesis. The relationship between OPN and ocular neovascularization provides a new direction in research and treatment of neovascular diseases. This paper reviewed the research progress of OPN and ocular neovascular diseases.
2.An Experimental Study on the Effect of Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose on Anterior Chamber
Acta Medicinae Universitatis Scientiae et Technologiae Huazhong 2001;30(2):168-170
The effect of hydroxyprolpyl methylcelulose (HPMC) injected into anterior chamber on filtering angle tissues was studied. Twenty-four rabbits were randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group included 40 eyes receiving HPMC which was injected into anterior chamber and the control group included 8 eyes (one served as normal control and the remaining were injected with balanced salt solution). According to the intaocular pressure (IOP) was normal or elevated ,the experimental group was further divided into group A and B. The tissul specimen of filtering angle were collected to perform pathological examination at 5 days, 3 weeks ,and 10 weeks after injection.During the early period, in groupA,the trabecular meshwork dilated slightly, the vacuoles increased in endothelial cells of inner wall of Schlemm's canal. In group B, the space of trabeculum broadened, there were accumulation of collagen and intercellular fibrosis, the vacuoles significantly increased in endothelial cells of inner wall of Schlemm's canal. But the change mentioned above all recovered to normal appearance on the later stage of long term following observationHPMC injected into anterior chamber may cause temporary elevation of IOP and pathological change of filtering angle, but the change was reversible. HPMC is not toxic or destructive to the tissues of anterior chamb angle.
3.Prevention and treatment of liver diseases by compatibility of effective traditional Chinese medicine components:re-view of research and prospect
Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2014;31(4):295-298
The compound of active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM),whose material base is relatively clear, adheres to the concept and advantages of formula compatibility of TCM.Thus,it is an important approach to modern TCMresearch. The significance of research on compound of TCMcomponents/ingredients,as well as the research ideas,is sketched out,and the current research on compound of TCMcomponents for the prevention and treatment of liver diseases is reviewed. The research strategies for TCMcomposition/compound for the prevention and treatment of liver diseases are elucidated from the following two aspects:exploring the compound of TCM components based on clinical TCM compound and studying the composition aiming at the effective components or ingredients of TCM that have been known;it is pointed out that the compatibility of effective TCM components, which provides the method and technology system for innovative drug research,is an innovative research model for inheriting and developing the TCMtheory and is one of the important approaches to modern TCM research.
4.Regulation of dopamine and glutamate release by metabotropic glutamate receptors in the basal ganglia motor circuit:implications for treatment of parkinsons disease
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
Metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluRs) are a family of G protein coupled receptors linked to modulation of ion channel functions and multiple second messengers. These receptors are widely distributed throughout the basal ganglia (BG). Studies have demonstrated that these mGluRs subtypes located at various synapses in BG could modulate the release of dopamine and glutamate which correlates with brain area, the subtype selectivity and concentration of the ligands. Metab otropic glutamate receptors have been proposed as potentially new therapeutic targets for Parkinsons disease by providing a method of pharmacologically regulating neurotransmission in the BG.
5.Effects of Gypsum on levels of cAMP, cGMP, PGE_2 in plasma and cAMP, cGMP in spleen tissue and abdominal cavity macrophages in rats with thermal injury
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(01):-
This paper showed that levels of cAMP, PGE_2 in plasma and cAMP in spleen tissue and abdominal cavity macrophages in burned rats are increased (cAMP levels in plasma of the control groups were 24.65?4.59pmol/ml; PGE_2 levels were 309.38?77.64Pg/ml. cAMP levels in plasma of burned groups were 36.58?2.74pmol/ml: PGE_2 levels were 937.50+102.91Pg/ml; P
6.Effects of gypsum on both the fever and the cyclic nucleotids levels in CSF in rabbits with fever
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of gypsum on LP-induced fever and the CSF levels of cAMP and cGMP in rabbits. It was found that gypsum could inhibit the rise of body temperature caused by LP injection, (△T of gypsum +LP group is 0.40?0.08℃, TRI_3 2.55; LP group 0.91?0.06℃, TRI_3 4.99 P
7.Treatment progress of children myopic amblyopia
International Eye Science 2015;(8):1370-1374
The treatment of myopic amblyopia and myopic anisometropic amblyopia is difficult and usually resultless and it has been the obstacle of amblyopic treatment. Corneal contact lens, corneal refractive surgery and phakic intraocular lens as new methods can significantly improve visual acuity of patients with high myopic amblopia and myopic anisometorpic ambyopia. For correcting myopia and myopic anisometropic amblyopia it provides a new method. This paper discusses the availibility and safty of above methods for the treatment of myopic amblyopia and myopic anisometropic amblyopia.

Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(24):-
Objective To observe the influence of N-acetylcysteine(NAC)on the formation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm(BF),and to study the synergism of bactericidal activities of NAC combined with levofloxacinon to the mature Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm. Methods The experiment was done in experiment centre of Xiangya Hospital.Scanning electronic microcopy(SEM)were utilized to demonstrate the effect of NAC on the formation of biofilm. Then biofilm cultured without NAC were detected by optical microscopy after being stained with AgNO3.The minimal inhibitory concentration were detected by double test tube diluted method. The mature biofilm was treated by NAC and/or different concentrations of levofloxacin for 24 hours. The influence of levofloxacin combined with NAC were examined by MTT method on the bacterial quantity in biofilms. Results Biofilm was achieved on the silicon slides in all groups 7 days after the incubation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Scanning electronic microcopy showed that the mucoid materials among bacteria was significantly reduced and the thickness of biofilm was decreased in NAC groups.Levofloxacin beyond 1 MIC could significantly decline the viable cells on biofilms(P

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(12):-
[Objective]To investigate the feasibility and efficacy of percutaneous kyphoplasty in treating severe vertebral body compression fractures in patients with osteoporosis.[Method]Data from 15 patient who suffered from severe vertebral compression fractures was retrospectively reviewed.Seventeen percutaneous kyphoplasty were performed under C arm X-ray machine guidance. The clinical effects were evaluated by observing the charges of visual analog scale, locomotor activity scale, height of vertebral bodies and the Cobb's angle.[Result]All patients were successfully treated.Visual analog scale decreased from 7.9?1.3 preoperatively to 2.5?0.8 postoperatively(P
