International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2009;31(2):171-173
The study of traditional Chinese medicine and its complex prescription gradually adopted the methods of serum pharmacology, which has become a new researching thought and a gained more attention. In this article, the background of relevant researches, methodological discussions, analysis of the advantages and problems of serum pharmacology were reviewed. The serum pharmacology, for its unique value, will certainly has a brilliant prospect in its application to the research of traditional Chinese medicine and its complex prescription.

Bejing Chaoyang Hospital provided medical service support as a designated hospital for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. In the course, the hospital is benefited in terms of its management system building, guarantee of medical service quality, effective connection within the service system,real-time improvement of medical service quality, comprehensive information management and development of the emergency treatment system. These experiences are being converted into part of the permanent mechanism, rendering profound influence on medical service support for large-scale activities in the future.

Objective:To investigate affection of ureaplasma urealyticum (UU) infection on the production of calculus of the urinary and reproductive system in male rat. Methods:Sprogue-dawley(SD) rats were infected with UU4 (serotype 4) through repeated natural sexual intercourses for 8 weeks. The urinary and reproductive system were detected . Results:Twelve point five percents of rate infected with UU had soft calculus in urinary tracts, while 27.5 percents of rate infected with UU had soft or hard calculus. Conclusion: Infection with UU may lead to the production of calculus in urinary and reproductive system in male rats

Objective To acquire NF-?B p65 TAD(transcription activation domain) and construct its eukaryotic expression vector and express it in endothelial cells. Methods Human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) were cultured and total RNA was extracted. The p65 TAD gene was amplified by RT-PCR.After sequencing, the p65 TAD gene was inserted into the eukaryotic expression vector pEGFP-N1 with the green fluorescence protein, named pEGFP-N1-p65 TAD.pEGFP-N1-p65 TAD was transfected into HUVECs and its expression was observed under fluorescence microscope and analyzed by Western blotting. Results p65 TAD(288-548) was cloned successfully. The constructed plasmid including p65 TAD gene was identical to the designed.p65 TAD gene was expressed successfully in HUVECs.Conclusion The construction of eukaryotic expression vector including p65 TAD gene and its expression in HUVECs are very successful.

Objective To investigate the adverse reactions and survival rate of low dose of Oxaliplatin combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in treatment of elderly patients with primary hepatic carcinoma. Methods A total of 84 patients with primary liver cancer were enrolled and randomly divided into low dose group and high dose group.Patients received 40 mg/m2 and 80 mg/m2 of Oxaliplatin respectively, and adverse reactions and survival rate were compared between the two groups. Results Incidence of nausea and vomiting was obviously lower and the number of patients with pain scale above 6 was significantly smaller in low dose group than in high dose group, with statistically significant differences (11.9% vs.21.4% and 28.6% vs.78.6%,x2 =9.910,20.056,both P < 0.05).White blood cell count was significantly higher and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) was significantly lower in low dose group than in high dose group after treatment (t =13.447,6.774,both P<0.05).1 year and 3 year survival rate was 69.05% and 30.95% in low dose group and 61.9% and 21.43% in high dose group, respectively, with no statistically significant difference (x2 =0.474 and 0.985,P=0.491 and 0.321).Conclusions Low dose of Oxaliplatin combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization in the treatment of elderly patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma is worth to be promoted in clinical application because it does not affect the patient survival rate and the toxic effects of the chemotherapy are very little.

Objective To explore the effect of propofol and etomidate on anesthesia induction in pediatric surgery, and to provide evidence for the future use of anesthesia in pediatric surgery.Methods120 cases of pediatric surgery patients were prospectively selected pediatric in our hospital from May 2013 to January 2015 as the research object, randomly divided into 2 group respectively, control group and observation group, 60 cases in each group;the control group anesthesia was induced with etomidate, observation group anesthesia was induced with propofol, and the anesthetic effect were observed in the two groups, recovery and adverse reaction in the induction period of anesthesia.ResultsThe patients in the observation group anesthesia satisfaction scores were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05) and the observation group;the recovery time and the time of leaving room were significantly shorter than the control group (P<0.05);in the observation group, respiratory depression, restlessness, throat and bronchial spasm, adverse reactions such as nausea and vomiting were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionPropofol is more suitable for pediatric surgery than etomidate, and anesthesia effect is remarkable, fast recovery, worthy of clinical application and promotion.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(08):-
Objective To explore the cognitive function, feature of P 300 event-related potentials and the relationship of them in children with epilepsy. Methods Auditory P 300 was measured by oddball paradigm and intelligence quotient was tested by WSIC-RC in 38 children with epilepsy. Results 1. The rates of FIQ less than normal IQ were 65.8 %, impaired intelligence 28.9 % in patient group. 2.The latencies and the amplitudes of P 300 were significantly delayed and decreased respectively in both patient groups (P
10.INFLUENCES OF FUNGUS MYCENAE SP.ON ACTIVITIES OF SOME ENZYMES AND EXTRACELLULAR PH OF PROTOCORMS OF DENDROBIUM CANDIDUM
Microbiology 1992;0(02):-
An elicitor from fungus Mycenae sp. enhanced the extracellular pH of protocorms of Dendrobium candidum in two stages and also inspired the activities of PAL, POD and LOX. The different elicitors were different in enhancing the pH. The activities of PAL and POD ascended twice after elicitors were applied. The protocorms treated twice by elicitor had the higher PAL activity.
