Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(5):482-482
Objective To observe the effect of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and acupuncture on intractable facial paralysis. Methods 60 cases with intractable facial paralysis were divided into the acupuncture group and PNF and acupuncture group ( 30 cases respectively). They were assessed with the Portmann's Simple Scale after treatment. Results The score of the Portmann's Simple Scale in PNF and acupuncture group was higher than that in the acupuncture group (P<0.05).Conclusion PNF is synergistic to the effect of acupuncture on intractable facial paralysis.
2.Comparative Study of Thymosin α1 Combining Anti-coagulation Medication and Simple Anti-coagulation Medication for Treating the Patients With Deep Venous Thrombosis Formation
Chinese Circulation Journal 2015;(6):556-558
Objective: To compare the therapeutic effect of thymosin α1 combining anti-coagulation medication and simple anti-coagulation mediation in treating the patients with deep venous thrombosis (DVT) formation. Methods: A total of 92 patients with lower extremity vascular ultrasound conifrmed diagnosis of DVT were studied. The patients were randomly divided into 2 groups for treatment: Combination group, the patients received thymosin α1 combining anti-coagulation medication,n=45 and Simple group, the patients received only anti-coagulation medication,n=47. The changes of their deep venous thrombosis condition after treatment were compared between 2 groups. Results: By 4 weeks treatment, the proportion of completely dissolved thrombus in Combination group and in Simple group were 67 branches (49.26%) and 54 branches (37.24%); the thrombus progression and recurrence condition were 6 branches (4.41%) and 16 branches (11.03%), allP<0.05. Conclusion: Thymosin α1 combining anti-coagulation medication has the better effect than simple anti-coagulation medication for treating DVT patients.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2017;38(5):679-683
Objective To observe the effects of dexmedetomidine (DEX) on the expressions of TNF-α, IL-1β and apoptosis-related proteins in rat mesenteric artery. Methods Male SD rats of SPF grade were sacrificed and the mesenteric artery was separated under the stereo-microscope.We established an experimental model of vascular injury induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and randomly divided the injured vessels into dexmedetomidine treatment group and control group.DEX treatment group was divided into 10-8, 10-7, and 10-6 mol/L subgroups according to the different concentrations of DEX.RNA and total protein was extracted in each group. The mRNA expressions of TNF-α, IL-1β and CaSR were detected by RT-PCR and the protein expression of TNF-α, Caspase-3 and AMPK were tested by Western blot. Results DEX (10-8, 10-7, and 10-6mol/L) obviously reduced vascular inflammatory reaction induced by lipopolysaccharide, reduced the mRNA and protein expressions of TNF-α as well as mRNA expression of IL-1β.Caspase 3 protein expression significantly lowered in blood vessels in DEX group compared with LPS group.DEX had no obvious effect on lipopolysaccharide-induced vascular AMPK and CaSR mRNA or protein expressions. Conclusion DEX obviously deceased the expressions of inflammation-related proteins, suggesting that DEX has anti-inflammatory effects.
