1.Presentation and DSP Implementation of Wavelet Zero-cross Stimulation Strategy for Cochlear Implants
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(11):-
Objective To introduce the wavelet zero -cross stimulation algorithm and based on which to design and implement the cochlear implants. Methods Through DSP and ICETEK-VC5416, the WZS speech coding strategy was simulated, and also the presented WZS strategy was compared to CIS strategy by hardware implementation and computer simulation. Results The processed audio signals, output from eight channels, were synthesized and played through loudhailer and could be heard with high fidelity. Conclusion The wavelet zero-cross stimulation(WZS) strategy, which generates stimulating pulsatile series at zero-cross points in the domain of wavelet transform, can keep the temporal correlation and coherence of speech remained in stimulating pulsatile series and reflects the characteristic of temporal coding for cochlea.

3.Clinical features and aCGH analysis of one child with Phelan-McDermid syndrome
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2014;(6):579-582
Objective To analyze the clinical features and results of array-comparative genomic hybridization (array CGH, aCGH) in a Chinese girl with Phelan-McDermid syndrome. Methods The clinical symptoms of a child with Phelan-Mc-Dermid syndrome were retrospectively analyzed. Routine G-banding was performed to analyze the karyotype, and the aCGH was used to analyze subchromosomal abnormalities. Results The routine karyotype analysis showed a normal female karyotype without abnomalities in chromosome number and structure. aCGH analysis finely mapped the deletion of Chr22q13.2-qter. Phel-an-McDermid syndrome was diagnosed for this case. Conclusions Phelan-McDermid syndrome can be diagnosed by the typi-cal and detailed clinical features in combination with the laboratory examinations of subchromosomal abnormalities. aCGH is one of the most valuable methods to analyze subchromosomal abnormalities and to diagnose Phelan-McDermid syndrome.
4.Experiences in Diagnosis and Treatment of 31 Cases of Uterine Empyema
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2016;37(12):99-102
Objective To investigate the etiology, clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of female uterine empyema. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 31 patients with uterine empyema in our hospital from January 2003 to December 2015.Results Uterine empyema was caused as a result of occlusion of the cervical canal,Patients had no typical symptoms, four cases had no symptoms (12.90%),twenty-two cases had abdominal pain (70.97%),twenty-seven cases had vaginal discharge (98.09%) and twelve cases had sanguinopurulent material (38.71%),three cases of them had fever (9.70%).Gynecological ultrasound examination was an important diagnostic tool.Dilatation of cervix, discharging purulent material, antibiotics treatment, the cervical adhesions were manually broken down to establish a patent cervical lumen to accommodate a uterine Fleischl catheter, the uterus was lavaged with 0.9% Nacl solution, metronidazole, gentamicin. The above treatment got a good therapeutic effect. Conclusion Pyometra has atypical symptoms with difficult diagnosis, and develops gradually.Gynecological ultrasound examination has great clinical significance.Full dilatation of cervix, discharging purulent material are the key to the success of conservation treatment and can achieve good results.Combination of endometrial cancer or other malignant tumor patients should take surgery as soon as possible, according to the tolerance ability.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2003;9(9):541-542
ObjectiveTo investigate whether intracerebral transplantation of heterogenous neural stem cells(NSCs) may cause immunal rejection or not.MethodsNSCs derived from the brain of embryonic 16-day Wistar rat were cultured in vitro. Cerebral ischemic SD rat models were made by middle cerebral artery occlusion and NSCs were transplanted into the ipsilateral or contralateral caudate nucleus 4 days later. Rats were sacrificed at different time points after transplantation, the reaction and proliferation of mononuclear phagocytic system(MPS) and splenic follicles as well as the survival and migration of NSCs were checked.ResultsNumerous NSCs survived and migrated toward the lesion in vivo. Comparing with control group that did not receive NSCs transplantation, there was no significant infiltration of mononuclear phagocytes or proliferation of splenic follicles in NSCs transplanted rats.ConclusionsIntracerebral transplantation of heterogenous neural stem cells did not cause remarkable immunal rejection.

To evaluate the influence of different brands of syringes on performance parameters and application quality of syringe pump, we carried out matching experiment of infusion/syringe pump analyzer Rigel Multi-Flo, made by ALK Co. in Sweden, for 3 different types of syringes to measure the flow rate, occlusion alarm pressure, occlusion time and bolus volume of 26 syringe pumps. Data of quality control were analyzed with statistical method. The results demonstrated that there were significant differences in the flow rate, occlusion alarm pressure, occlusion time and bolus volume (P<0. 01) between those of common syringes and original syringes. This study points out that the health care providers should select compatible syringes for syringe pumps, which provides evidence and guidance to assure the reasonable and safe application of syringe pumps in clinical practice.

Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2003;0(01):-
Objective To explore the post-implant complications of permanent cardiac pacemakers, their reason, treatment and preventive measures. Methods The records of 516 patients receiving a permanent pacemaker were reviewed and complications of the patients were analyzed. Results There were 69 cases of complications after the permanent cardiac pacemaker implantation,5 cases(7.2%) of infection,10 cases(14.5%) of haematoma,7 cases(10.1%) of pocket rankle,10 cases(14.5%) of hemothorax and pneumothorax,10cases(14.5%) of pacemaker syndrome,7 cases(10.1%) of undersensing,2 cases(2.9%) of pacemaker mediated tachycardia,3 cases(4.4%) of battery exhaust advance,3 cases(4.4%) of arrhythmia,10cases(14.5%)of electrode displacement and 2 cases (2.9%) of electrode fracture. Conclusion Good prognosis will be resulted from deep understanding of the usual complications, increased differentiating ability, emphasized pre-operation prevention, standardized operation, strengthened follow-up as well as the education of pacemaker knowledge, early discovery and treatment of the complications.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(07):-
Objective To design and implement the implantable part of cochlear implants, i.e. multi-channel implantable neural stimulator. Methods Based on programmable logic device (PLD), the design of hardware circuit utilized hardware description language through PDM decoding and ETC controlling precept. Results The multi-channel implantable neural stimulator could provide as more as eight outputs of the channel, and the resolution of the outputs were high. Conclusion The miniature stimulator which is portable and efficient, contains perfect error correcting system, and the stimulating waveforms produced by the stimulator accord with the charge balance, current limit and charge limit.
