The distribution of journals, cooperated papers, authors and their affiliated institutions, fund-supported papers, and subjects in 305 papers published in 17 core journals of stomatology since their establishment with their citation frequencies ≤40 were analyzed in an attempt to provide reference for the editorial departments of journals in their topic selection , manuscripts review and solicitation .

Objective To investigate the correlation between MRI characteristics and tumor pathologic manifestitions of ovarian tumors.Methods 38 cases of benign ovarian tumor with clinic and MRI data were enrolled in this study.The correlation between the results of postoperative pathology and MRI characteristics was analyzed.Results 38 cases showed as ovarian tumor by MRI was diagnosed as ovarian tumor by pathology.So the accuracy of qualitative diagnosis was 100%;48 lesions were detected by surgery and pathology, of which one case had 3 lesions.The detection rate was 87.5%(42/48).Conclusion MRI is a relatively reliable method for the localization and qualitative diagnosis of ovarian tumor,which provides the guidance for surgery.

Objective To study the clinical characteristics and relative risk factors of hypertensive inpatients aged over 80 years.Methods From February 2003 to May 2012,336 hypertensive inpatients aged over 80 years were enrolled in the study.Medical history and family history including height,weight,blood pressure,fasting glucose,total cholesterol,triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,creatinine,urea nitrogen,uric acid and urine protein levels were recorded and analyzed statistically.Results The elderly hypertensive inpatients over 80 years old had systolic hypertension with widening pulse pressure and the decline in glomerular filtration rate.The incidence of dyslipidemia,atrial fibrillation,microalbuminuria,coronary heart disease,cerebrovascular disease were 56.5 ％ (190/336),13.4 ％(45/336),15.8％ (53/336),41.4％ (139/336) and 24.1％ (81/336),respectively.Whereas there was no significant sex difference (P＞0.05).A significant difference was found in the incidence of left vetricular hypertrophy between males (10.4％,25/240) and females (22.9％,22/96) (x2 =8.91,P＜0.01).The prevalence of diabetes in males (46.3％,111/240) was significantly higher than in females (28.1％,27/96) (x2=9.38,P＜0.01).From the 336 patients in the study,311 (92.6％)were treated by antihypertensive agents.The antihypertensive drugs included diuretics (37 patients,11.9％),calcium channel blocker (182 patients,58.5％),angiotensin receptor antagonists (89 patients,28.6％),angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (68 patients,21.9％),β-blockers (92 patients,29.6％),α-blockers (31 patients,10.0％),either alone (109 patients,35.0％) or in combination (202 patients,65.0％).96 (30.9％) patients were medically treated for dyslipidemia (drugs including statins).151 (48.6％) patients were treated with antiplatelet drugs.Conclusions The elderly hypertensive inpatients,over 80 years old,were accompanied by multiple risk factors and target organ damage,and most of them was treated with antihypertensive agents in combination.

Objective To investigate the relationship between human leptin receptor(LEPR)gene G3057A polymorphism and type 2 diabetes complicated with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods 216 cases of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes(104 cases complicated with NAFLD)and 108 cases of normal glucose tolerances(NGT)were recruited.Hemi-nested PCR-RFLP and PCR direct sequence analysis were conducted to detect the polymorphisms of LEPR G3057A polymorphism.The plasma leptin and insulin levels were measured by ELISA kit.Plasma lipid and glucose metabolic parameters were measured routinely.Liver ultrasound scanning Was carried out among all subjects.Results Type 2 diabetic patients complicated with NAFLD had higher plasma alanine aminotransferase(ALT),triglycerides(TG),low density lipaprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),leptin levels and lower plasma insulin levels than those cages without NAFLD and NGT.The variant frequency at nucleotide 3057 G to A transversion Was 76.0% in type 2 diabetic patients complicated with NAFLD,which Was also significant higher than those cases without NAFLD(62.1%)or NGT cases(53.2%)(x2=14.63,P＜0.01).Conclusions The polymorphism of LEPR gene 3057 probably contributes to the onset of NAFLD in type 2 diabetes by regulating lipid metabolism and affecting insulin sensitivity.

Objective To study the clonal heterogeneity in differentiation potential of immortalized mesenchymal stem cells in vitro and in rive.Methods The monoclonal cell lines were performed with limiting dilution cloning,and were induced to adipocytic,asteogenic and neuronal differentiation in vitro.After transplanted the monoclonal cell lines into SCID mice,the xenotransplants were removed and evaluated by immunohistochemistry.Results From the parental HMSC-TERT,32 single-cell derived clones were established,of which the differentiation properties varied considerably in vitro.The cells grow in different plating densities during expansion in culture:HMSC-TERT-2 expressed more strongly in LCA,GFAP and vimemin;HMSC-TERT-C19 expressed more strongly in keratinose than HMSC-TERT-2,HMSC-IERT-20,and MSC-H;HMSC-TERT-C2 expressed more strongly in actin than HMSC-TERT-2.Conclusions The HMSC-TERT monoclone cells are heterogeneity in differentiation petential in vitro and in vivo,suggesting that standard in vitro culture and in vivo inoculate procedure phy an important role in the clinical application of stem cells.

BACKGROUND: As unspecific antagonist of opiate receptor, naloxone is widely used for multiple diseases which are related with abnormal release of endogenous opium. At present, researches suggest that large dosage of naloxone is used at early period can decrease death rate of patients with acute craniocerebral injury and promote neural functional recovery.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of naloxone on improving the nervous function of rats with acute craniocerebral injury and to analyze effectively.DESIGN: Randomized grouping design based on the experimental animal.SETTING: Beijing Neurosurgical Institute.MATERIALS: Totally 250 SD rats were divided randomly into 0.3, 1.0,3.0, 9.0 mg/kg naloxone group, positive control group and negative control group.METHODS: Craniocerebral injured model was established with Feenly free fall struck, and the medicine was given 30 minutes after injury. The rats of the first four experimental group were injected transpeniponeally with naloxone hydrochloride by 0.3 mg/kg, 1.0 mg/kg, 3.0 mg/kg and 9.0 mg/kg respectively once a day; meanwhile, the control groups were given 2 mg citicoline sodium for injection and 0.5 mL normal saline per rat respectively. The longest time was 14 days.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: MNSS neural functional score was used every day. The brain edemas of 8 rats in each group were measured with wet-dry weight methods on the second and the fourth day after head trauma.RESULTS: Among 250 rats, 172 entered the final analysis. The nervous function of rats in naloxone groups was better than the two control groups (P ＜ 0.01), and that in 1, 3 and 9 mg/kg naloxone group were better than 0.3 mg/kg group (P ＜ 0.05), but there were no significant differences a mong the three naloxone groups (P ＞ 0.05). The brain edemas of rats in naloxone groups were lighter than that in the control groups (P ＜ 0.05), and that of 1, 3 and 9 mg/kg groups were lighter than 0.3 mg/kg (P ＜ 0.05), but there were no significant differences among these three groups (P ＞ 0.05).CONCLUSION: Naloxone can decrease the brain edemas of rats with traumatic brain injury, promote the nervous function recovery, and the treatment effect changes with the dosage during some range.Therefore, the experiment illustrates that naloxone can decrease the brain edemas of experimental brain injury in SD rats and improve the nervous function, but the effect of naloxone is associated with the dosages in some range.

Objective To investigate the effect of an ACE inhibitor ,perindopril ,on the expression of SR‐A in renal tubuloint‐erstitium of diabetic rats .Methods Diabetes was induced in male Sprague‐Dawley rats by injection with streptozotocin .The rats were then randomly divided into 3 groups:normal control group;untreated diabetes mellitus group and diabetes mellitus group trea‐ted with perindopril .After a 24‐week treatment ,tubulointerstitial injury index was assessed with Masson′s trichrome sections .The expression of SR‐A mRNA was detected by RT‐PCR and the expression of SR‐A protein in renal tubulointerstitium was detected by immunohistochemistry .Results The tubulointerstitial injury index ,the expression of SR‐A mRNA were significantly higher in the diabetes group than those in normal control group .Perindopril treatment not only attenuated the tubulointerstitial injury ,but also reduced the overexpression of SR‐A mRNA in diabetic rats .The expression of SR‐A protein was most obvious in renal tubulointer‐stitium in diabetic rats ,which was obviously attenuated by perindopril treatment(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The findings of the this study indicate that perindopril may have renoprotective effects on diabetic nephropathy via inhibiting the expression of SR‐A in re‐nal tubulointerstitium .

The rats were assigned to blank control group, classical induction group, and drynaria total flavonoid group. Whole bone marrow culture method was applied to isolate and purify rats bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). Akaline phosphatase activity, calcium nodes, TGF-β1 and BMP-2 secretion in the process of bone mesenchymal stem cells osteogenic differentiation were detected. The results showed that compared to the blank group and classical group, drynaria total flavonoid promoted osteogenic differentiation accompanied with increased TGF-β1 and BMP-2 secretion (all P＜0. 05). Drynaria total flavonoid may promote osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs via upregulating TGF-β1 and BMP-2 expressions, and play an active role in the treatment of osteoporosis.

The job burnout level and psychological status of 109 medical staff in Shennongjia forest region were investigated, and the Chinese maslach burnout inventory (CMBI) and symptom check list-90(SCL- 90) were adopted in the survey. The survey revealed that 69.7% (76/109) of the subjects had job burnout, including 53.2% (58/109) had slight burnout, 12. 8% (14/109) moderate burnout and 3. 7%(4/109) severe burnout. The single-factor detection rates of job burnout were 56.9% (62/109) for diminished personal accomplishment, 17.4% (19/109) for depersonalization, and 15.6% (17/109) for emotional exhaustion. Both the interpersonal sensitivity factor score and the positive symptom average score of SCL-90 were significant lower than those of Chinese norm ( P ＜ 0. 01 ), the total average score and the other factor scores of the subjects had no significant differences from those of Chinese norm ( P ＞ 0. 05 ). The results suggest that the majority of medical staff in the study region have experienced the job burnout, the main manifestation is the feeling of diminished personal accomplishment, on the other hand the psychological status of the subjects is similar with those in the general population.
