Objective: To analyze the constitution of hospitalization expenses and provide evidence for controlling unreasonable increase of medical costs. Methods: To compare the medical expense constitution of cerebral infarction patients with and without medical insurance; interview the doctors, patients and the medical insurance managers of medical insurance, analyze the influencing factors of the expense through combining the result of interview and quantitative data. Results: The patients with medical insurance spent higher expense than their counterparts, the per capita cost of medical insurance increase by year. Through analyzing the constitution of hospitalization cost, medicine fee and examination cost are the major medical costs. Conclusion: The costs of patients with medical insurance have over-treatment problem, which could be controlled by changing payment method and strengthening management.

Objective To investigate the relationship between interleukin (IL)-17 and IL-10 in psoriasis. Methods The expression of IL-17 and IL-10 was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in 32 patients with psoriasis (psoriasis group) and 30 normal controls (control group). The correlation of IL-17 and IL-10 was analyzed. Results The expression of IL-17 in psoriasis group was higher than that in control group[(57.59 ± 11.99) ng/L vs.(33.27 ± 6.49) ng/L] (t =9.84,P < 0.01).The expression of IL-10 in psoriasis group was lower than that in control group [(25.38 ± 4.32) ng/L vs.(32.01 ± 5.54) ng/L] (t =5.27,P< 0.01).There was negative correlation between IL-17 and IL-10 in patients with psoriasis (r =-0.70,P < 0.01).Conclusion The pathogenesis of psoriasis may be related to imbalance of IL-17 and IL-10.

The stratum corneum barrier and the other issues in transdermal drug delivery system have attracted more and more at-tention, and the novel liposomes as the drug delivery vehicles effectively solve the problems. The novel liposomes can significantly im-prove transdermal drug penetration, therefore, can enhance efficacy and shows high application value and development prospects. In the paper, combined with some domestic and foreign current researches, the classification, penetration mechanisms and application of the novel liposomes were reviewed.

Objective To investigate the effect of tripterygium glycosides (TG) contained serurn on the pathological boneforming related inflammatory markers and miR-21.Methods Previous isolated and cultured AS fibroblasts were stimulated using IL-1 of 1ng/ml for 24h,different concentrations of blank serum (5%,10%,and 15%) and TG contained serum (5%,10%,and 15%) were added for 48h.PGE-2,IL-17,IL-22,IL-23,CCL19 and CCL21 proteins were examined by Western blot. The osteogenesis marker BMP and microRNA-21 mRNAs were tested. Results 48 h after intervention, the expressions of inflammatory markers were obviously inhibited by TG contained serum;the boncforming related inflammatory markers, expressions of BMP-2 and miR-2t were all inhibited in a dose-dependent manner. Conclusions TG could inhibit the expressions of boneforming related inflammatory markers,BMP-2 and miR-21,thus providing theoretical basis to treat AS pathological boneforming.

AIM: To investigate the effect of ambroxol on pulmonary and vascular injury in chronically hypoxic rats. METHODS: 36 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: normal control, chronically intermittent hypoxia(CIH) and ambroxol precaution group(AP).The CIH and AP groups were made into the chronically hypoxic models .The mean pulmonary artery pressure(PAPM) and the levels of plasma superoxide dismutase (SOD) and plasma nitric oxide (NO),lipid peroxide(LPO) were determined. The levels of the lung homogenates SOD, LPO, NO and the changes in pulmonary vascular structure were also examined. RESULTS: The levels of plasma and lung homogenates SOD,NO in CIH group were respectively significantly lower than that of normal control and AP group ( P

Objective:To review the application of microemulsions as vehicles in transdermal delivery systems. Methods:Based on the recently published papers, the research on the application of microemulsions was classified and summarized. Results: Microe-mulsions is extensively applied as drug vehicles due to the ability of solubilization, drug permeation enhancement and efficacy improve-ment. Conclusion:Microemulsions as promising vehicles for transdermal delivery show a good application prospect.

Objective To understand the clinical features of patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) complicated by cytomegalovirus (CMV)viremia. Methods The clinical data of 249 cases of HIV/AIDS patients hospitalized in Beijing Ditan Hospital from Oct 2008 to Nov 2009 were analyzed retrospectively,in which 43 HIV/AIDS patients were diagnosed with CMV viremia. The symptoms and signs, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)tests, and pathological detections by bronchoscope, gastroscope and fibercoloscope were collected. The database was set up using Excel software. The association between cellular immunity and CMV DNA level was determined by SPSS12.0 software. Results Forty-three patients (17.3%)were diagnosed with CMV viremia by positive results of CMV pp65 antigen and CMV DNA tests; 14 patients manifested retinal bleeding or infiltration and 4 patients displayed retinal fibrosis; 1 patient was diagnosed with CMV pneumonitis by pathological results of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.Low level of CD4+ T lymphocytes and CMV DNA levels were positively correlated. Conclusions CMV pp65 antigen and CMV DNA should be detected in HIV/AIDS patients with CD4+ T lymphocytes less than 100 × 106/L and anti-CMV treatment should be given according to the results.Ophthalmologic examination and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid pathological detection are effective methods in diagnose of CMV retinitis and pneumonitis.

AIM: To investigate the effects of chronic hy poxia and antagonistic effects of aminophylline on airway inflammation and oxida tive lung damage in rats. METHODS: Thirty-four male Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups: normal control group (n=10); hypoxia group (n=12); aminop hlline-treated group (n=12). The last two groups were both exposed to hypoxi a 7 hours per day for 21 days. The third group was treated with aminophlline (1 00 mg?kg -1?d -1) before exposed to hypoxia. The level of tumor ne c rosis factor (TNF) -?, interleukin (IL)-10, lipid peroxide (LPO) and the activi ty of superoxide dismutase (SOD) were determined in blood and homogenates of lung tissue. RESULTS: Compared to the control group, the levels of TNF-?, IL -10 and LPO were significantly increased (P

Objective To analyze and study the diagnosis of large granular lymphocyte leukemia(LGLL).Methods To report and discuss six cases weth LGLL we have found. Results 2 of T-LGLL and lof NK-LGLL had indolent process, mainly presenting with anemia and splenomegaly and good response to treatment, while; 1 of T-LGLL and 2 of NK-LGLL had aggressive process, their clinical characters are obviously general symptom, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, these disease develop quickly and have bad prognosis. The immunophenotype of indolent LGLL is distinct from aggressive cases. Conclusion As a group of heterogeneous disease, its diagnosis should be based on clinical manifestation and immunophenotype and differentiated it carefully.
