Journal of Endocrine Surgery 2012;06(4):257-259
Objective To investigate the related risk factors of hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy (HDCP).Methods Data of 1265 cases of pregnant women were retrospectively analyzed, and the risk factors of HDCP were analyzed statistically. Results Among the total 1265 pregnant women,HDCP occurred in 124 cases, with an incidence of 9.8%.The incidence of HDCP was 14.6% (37/254),11.3% (94/829) and 11.2% ( 101/903 ) respectively in women >35 years, women living in rural areas, and women without prenatal screening, which was significantly higher than that in women < 35 years, women living in urban areas, and women receiving prenatal screening. The difference had statistical significance( P <0.05 ).Primipara and women who had abortion history also had higher incidence of HDCP than multipara and women without abortion history, however, the difference had no statistical significance ( P >0.05 ).Additionally, logistic regression analysis showed that age, location and prenatal examination were associated with incidence of HDCP.Conclusions Old age, rural residence and lack of prenatal screening were the risk factors of HDCP.In order to prevent HDCP,prenatal screening should be popularized for pregnant women, especially women in rural areas.More attention should be paid to the pregnant women who are over 35 years, living in rural area and lacking of prenatal screening.
2.Alteration of coagulogram in women with polycystic ovary syndrome
Journal of Endocrine Surgery 2014;(2):159-162
Objective To evaluate the alteration of coagulogram in patients with polycystic ovary syn -drome(PCOS).Methods Coagulogram was compared between 48 patients with PCOS and 42 healthy women. Pre-and post-therapy coagulogram were also compared and the correlation of coagulogram alternation and endocrine indicators were analyzed in PCOS patients .Results The mean age of the 48 PCOS patients was 27.6 ±4.2. Compared to the healthy women , PCOS patients presented higher body mass index , testosterone , insulin and fast-ing blood glucose levels ( P<0.05 ) .Refer to the coagulogram , PCOS patients showed shorter prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time , lower international normalized ratio of prothrombin time ratio , and the activity of thrombin(P<0.05), longer thrombin time and lower fibrinogen , D Dimer and fibrin degradation prod-uct levels(P<0.05).After three circles of treatment, the above indicators of coagulogram were recovered (P<0.05).Moreover, the alteration of international normalized ratio was associated with fasting blood glucose and in-sulin significantly(P<0.05).The alteration of D Dimer and fibrin degradation product were associated with fast-ing blood glucose, insulin and testosterone significantly (P<0.05).Conclusions PCOS patients showed relative hypercoagulatory and hypofibrinolytic status which may be induced by hyperglycemia , hyperinsulinemia and hyper androgenemia. Thus, coagulogram should be monitored and interfered in PCOS patients to prevent thrombosis .
3.A multi-factor analysis on the prevalence of lesion of hip joint in patients with ankylosing spondylitis
Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2010;14(11):756-758
Objective To analyze the multiple factors for ankylosing spondylitis(AS)patients developing hip joint disease. Methods One hundred and two patients with AS complicated with hip joint damage (group A)were compared with 54 patients with AS without hip joint disease(group B). A univariate and multivariate unconditional-Logistic regression analysis was carried. Results The mean age at the time of disease onset was(17±8)years old in group A and(24±7)years in group B(P<0.05). The course of disease onset was(5±4)years old in group A and(11±5)years in group B(P<0.05). The childhood of disease onset was 37.3% in group A and 20.4% in group B(P<0.05). The patients who had hip pain at the disease onset was 38.2% in group A and 25.9% in group B(P<0.05).The incidence of peripheral arthritis was 39.2% and 20.4%(P<0.05)in patients of group A and group B respectively. Laboratory and X-ray findings showed that ESR, CRP, IgG and IgM levels were higher in group A than those in group B. SASP and thalidomide dosage taken in group A was lower than that in group B(P<0.01), the dosage of prednisone taken was higher in group A than in group B. A multivariate unconditional logistic regression analysis showed 5 factors, including the younger age of the time of disease onset, the short disease duration, the childhood of disease onset and hip joint involvement at the onset were associated with the occurrence of hip joint involvement. Conclusion The younger age, childhood and hip joint involvement at the time of disease onset, short disease duration may be the risk factors and SASP may be the protecting factor for patients developing hip joint lesion. More cases and factors analysis may be helpful to predict hip joint lesion in AS and to reduce the prevalence of disability.

7.PERIODICITY OF NEURONAL DISCHARGE IN VENTROMEDIAL HYPOTHALAMIC NUCLEUS OF RAT
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(04):-
Unit discharges of neurons of the hypothalamic ventromedial nucleus region (HVM) and its surrounding structures including paraventricular nucleus, anterior hypothalamic area, and hypolhalamic dorsomcdial nucleus, were recorded in the ureth-ane-anesthetized and flaxidel-immobilized rats. In HVM,8 of 82 units showed periodical fluctuations in discharge rate, which could be categorized into two types: (1) With alternating active and silent phases 5 (2) with gradually waxing and waning phases. The duration of cach cycle varied from 1 to 5 minutes in different neurons. The periodicity disappeared after intraperitoneal injection of nembutal, while the average discharge rate was raised somewhat. This result suggested that the depressing pha-s of periodical activity of the HVM neuron might probably result from the inhibitory action in certain neuronal circuit, rather than from the intrinsic property of the recorded neurons. The effect of picrotoxin was contradictory. No periodical activity was noted in the 47 recorded neurons outside of the HVM.
