Objective To study the impact of depression disorder in patients after coronary stent implantation on incidence rate of in-stent restenosis (ISR) in the coronary heart disease( CHD ), and its possible pathophysiological mechanisms. Methods According to the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD-24) and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS) score,95 patients with unstable angina received coronary drug-eluting stent implantation combined with depression disorder were serve as the study group; randomly selecte 246 cases without depression due to unstable angina pectoris after coronary stent implantation as the control group in the same period. The incidence rate of ISR in these two group were observed, and serum aldosterone ( ALD), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) ,Leptin levels in two groups were compared. Results The incidence rate of ISR in study group were significantly higher than that of the control group (28/95 vs 46/246, P<0. 05). Following with the aggravation of depression disorder, the incidence rate of ISR were elevated( χ2 =8. 148, P=0.017). Serum ALD,hs-CRP and Leptin levels of study group were significantly higher than the control group 7 days later after drug-eluting stent implantation ( ALD:277.4 ± 35.9 vs 258.9 ± 60.9, t= 3. 459, P= 0. 001; hs-CRP: 12.03 ± 3.06 vs 11.10 ±2. 806, t = 2.573, P = 0.008; Leptin:5.27 t 1.07 vs 4.98 ± 0.99, t= 2.323, P= 0.021 ). Pearson correlation analysis showed that its HAMA-24 score was positively correlated with serum ALD ,hs-CRP and Leptin( r=0.291,P=0.026; r=0.350, P=0.014; r=0. 312, P=0.023) ,and SDS score was positively correlated with hs-CRP( r=0. 302, P= 0. 020). Conclusion Serum ALD, hs-CRP and Leptin levels are higher in patients after coronary stent implantation combined with depression in patients, and the incidence rate of ISR is also higher in these patients, and the rates are elevated according to the aggravation of depression disorder.

AIM: To investigate the changes of intracellular calcium ion (Ca2+) concentration in mouse H9c2 (2-1) cells transfected with or without FK506 binding protein 12.6(FKBP12.6) gene by ultrasound mediated destruction of microbubbles. METHODS: The pcDNA3.1-FKBP12.6 plasmid, mingled with albumin-coated microbubbles agents, was transfected into H9c2 (2-1) cells by ultrasound-mediated destruction of microbubbles. The H9c2 (2-1) cell growth state was investigated by inverted microscope. The changes of intracellular Ca2+ concentration was determined by laser scanning confocal microscope. The FKBP12.6 protein expression was checked by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS: As compared with control cells, the H9c2 (2-1) cells, transfected with FKBP12.6 gene, grew better, had higher gross intracellular Ca2+ concentration. CONCLUSION: FKBP12.6 gene augments Ca2+ concentration in mouse H9c2 (2-1) cells, enhances the contractibility of the myocardial cell, which may be helpful to improve the myocardial dysfunction.

Objective To identify the feasibility and the anatomical parameters of posterior transarticular pedicle screw fixation in the thoracic spine, provide a reference for clinical applications. Methods Twenty human cadaveric thoracic spine segments were dissected posteriorly and anteriorly, with care taken to expose the laminas and pedicles. The entrance point of transarticular pedicle screws was located in the 7 mm away from the above at the inferior margin of the lamina and the inside at the exterior margin, respectively. Posterior transarticular pedicle screws implantation was performed under direct visualization into T1,2,T5,6 and T9,10 Under direct abservation, the feasibility of posterior transarticular pedicle screw fixation was assessed. Then a CT was done. On the morphologic CT scan, the angle and length of the transarticular pedicle crew trajectory were measured. Results The thoracic transarticular pedicle screw trajectory were caudal tilting in the sagittal plane and lateral tilting in the axial plane with successful placement. Screws were placed across the facet joint, and from the inferior articular process of upper thoracic vertebra into the pedicle of lower thoracic vertebra. There was little difference between different number of thoracic vertebrae of the angle, but without significance. The average angles of the screws were 41.4°+3.2°caudal tilting in the sagittal plane and 2.1°±0.7° lateral tilting in the axial plane. The average trajectory lengths were (40.6±4.9)mm, and the lengths increased gradually from upper thoracic vertebra to middle and lower. There were significant differences statistically among T1,2, T5,6 and T9.10 (F=74.09, P<0.01 ). Conclusion Posterior transarticular pedicle screw fixation is feasible, and there are some directions for implantating the screws. Transarticular pedicle fixation in the thoracic spine affords an alternative to standard pedicle screw placement for thoracic stabilization.

Ventricular myocytes from hearts of the neonatal SD rats were treated with 10-7,10-6,and 10-5 mol/L simvastatin for 72 hours under high glucose condition. Compared with control group, the viability of cadiomyocyte was significantly lower in high glucose group (P<0.01 ).The activity of lactate dehydrogenase, the relative expressions of NADPH oxidase subunits p22phox,p47phox mRNA,and reactive oxygen species level in the high glucose group were higher than those of control group ( all P<0.05).lndexes mentioned above were significantly improved by simvastatin treatment in a dose-dependent manner. These results suggest that simvastatin ameliorates high glucose-induced injury of cardiomyocytes via increasing the expression of NADPH oxidase mRNA.

Objective To explore whether fluid-attenuated inversion recovery can be used to estimate the onset time of acute ischemic stroke (ALS) based on the analysis of signal strength through the fluid-attenuated inversion-recov?ery (FLAIR)and volume of interest (ROI) in ALS patients with known time of onset. Method Forty-seven AIS patients who met the inclusion criteria were recruited from Baotou Central Hospital, Department of Neurology from January 2011 to December 2012. The patients had stroke onset within 12 hours and completed MRI scan including diffusion-weighted imaging DWI, apparent diffusion and coefficient ADC FLAIR. Based on MRI findings, patients were divided into, three groups:0~180 min, 180~360 min and 360~720 min groups. Signal strength values of the DWI、FLAIR and ADC in ipsi?lateral and contralateral sides were measured. Result There was a significant difference in the FLAIR signal strength among these three groups. The FLAIR signal strength was significantly lower in 0~180 min and 180~360 min groups than in 360-720 min. FLAIR positive rate was 16.7%, 62.5%, and 70.6% in 0~180 min, 180~360 min and 360~729 min groups, respectively. Conclusion FLAIR positive rate gradually increases as the onset prolongs. Thus, lower FLAIR posi?tive rate indicates shorter onset time of AIS, which can be used to assist acute intravenous thrombolytic therapy.

Objective Compare the efifcacy and safety of drug eluting stent (DES) for treatment of in stent restenosis (ISR) and coronary de novo lesions. Methods Patients treated with DES for ISR and de novo lesions in Beijing Anzhen Hospital between October 2008 and December 2011 were followed up for 1 year. All lesions were divided into ISR and de novo group. Major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) including all-cause death, myocardial infarction (MI) and clinical target lesion revascularization (TLR) were the primary endpoints. Results The study population consisted of 204 patients in the ISR group and 494 patients in the de novo group. Baseline clinical and angiographic parameters were comparable between the two groups. The rate of diabetic was higher in the ISR group than that in the de novo group (36.6%to 27.1%, P < 0.05). The diameter of coronary artery was smaller in the ISR group than that in the de novo group (2.72±0.36 to 3.08±0.54, P<0.01). The rate of TLR in the ISR group was higher than that in the de novo group (10.7%to 17.2%, P<0.05;14.2%to 21.1%, P<0.05),contributing to higher MACE in ISR group. Conclusions DES implantation is safe and effective for treatment of ISR lesions, but the rate of TLR is higher compared to treatment of de novo lesions.
