3.Influence of nursing interventoin on complications of elderly patients with lower extremity bone fracture
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(9):31-32
Objective To discuss influence of nursing intervention on complications of elderly patients with lower extremity bone fracture. Methods 105 elderly patients with lower extremity bone fracture were randomly divided into the nursing intervention group and random nursing group with 52 patients in each group. χ2 test and t test were used to compare the nursing effect in the two groups. Results The incidence rate of complication and average hospitalization time in the nursing intervention group were evidently lower than those of the random nursing group. Conclusions Nursing intervention has profound significance on rehabilitation of elderly patients with lower extremity bone fractures.
4.Case Analysis of Ethical Issues Involving in Subject Recruitment
Chinese Medical Ethics 2016;29(4):645-648
A major task in clinical trials and researches is subject recruitment, however there probably exist ethical issues in the process of recruitment, such as the selection of subjects, recruitment methods, document de-scription,reward and compensation. This paper is to discuss the relevant ethical elements through cases analysis. It put forward that only obeying ethical codes, implementing informed consent, and playing the function of ethics com-mittee, the rights and interests of subjects can be protected.

Chinese Journal of Pancreatology 2009;9(4):256-258
Objective To investigate the tolerance of chemotherapy based on gemcitabine and cisplatin in elderly patients (> 70 years old) with advanced pancreatic cancer. Methods Retrospective analysis in 34 elderly patients with advanced pancreatic cancer between January 2004 and January 2009 was performed. Results 6 patients had partial remission (PR) and 16 patients had stable diaease (SD). The clinical benefit response (CBR) rate was 64.7%. 18 patients reduced their analgesics dose exceeding 50% , as well as pain intensity descended exceeding 35% , 22 patients had the weight increased more than 7% and had improved general well-being. The incidence rate of nausea and vomiting was 38. 2% (13/34) , 4 patients had worsened liver function and aggravated skin and sclera stained yellow. Incidence of Ⅲ- Ⅳ myelosuppressive was 34. 6% , and there were decrease in the number of white blood cell, hemoglobin, platelets to some extent, the rate of thrombocytopenia was 28. 3% (12/34) , blood routine normalized after using G-CSF. There was no occurrence of peripheral neurotoxicity or chemotherapy-related death. Conclusions Chemotherapy of gemcitabine in combination with cisplatin was tolerable for elderly patients with advanced pancreatic cancer who were in good condition of behavior.

Chinese Journal of Neonatology 2016;11(5):370-374
Objective To assess the effects of caffeine use in apnea of prematurity (AOP) in the early stage (caffeine was used within 3 days after birth) versus late stage (caffeine was used 4 to 10 days after birth ) . Methods Medline, Science Direct, Elsevier, Embase, CBMdisc and Wanfang databases were retrieved to incorporate studies that met the inclusion criteria. The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of the databases to November, 2015. References that were in line with the inclusion criteria were selected and relevant conference data were collected by manual retrieval. Two researchers conducted meta-analysis using software RevMan 5. 2 after independent data selection, information extraction and quality evaluation according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results One randomized controlled trial and four retrospective cohort studies were included. A total of 59 288 patients were involved. Meta-analysis suggested that, compared with caffeine use in the late stage, the early stage group showed significant lower incidence ( P < 0. 05 ) of mortality, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, intraventricular hemorrhage, periventricular leukomalacia, retinopathy of prematurity and surgical intervention of patent ductus arteriosus. No significant difference (OR = 0. 98, 95% CI 0. 72 - 1. 33, P = 0. 881) was observed between the 2 groups in terms of the incidence of necrotic enterocolitis. Conclusions Patients with AOP should start caffeine treatment as early as possible, which significantly decreases mortality rate and the occurrence of other complications with little adverse reactions and good clinical tolerance.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2016;15(7):31-33
Objective To evaluate the effect of initiative bladder function training on uroschesis and urinary tract infections after caesarean section. Methods Toally 200 puerperas with caesarean section and indwelling catheter were divided into observation group and control group, 100 cases in each group. The control group was given passive bladder function training, and the observation group was given initiative bladder function training. The two groups were compared in terms of postoperative infections in the urinary tract, time for first micturition, residual urine volume and micturition effect. Result After intervention, the rate of urinary tract infections in the observation group was lower than that of the control one , the time for and effect of first micturition were shorter and better than those of in the control group, the residual urine volume was shorter (P<0.05). Conclusion The initiative bladder function training by exercising abdominal muscle combined with levator ani muscle exercise can effectively promote the recovery of bladder function and reduce uroschesis and the rate of postoperative urinary tract infections.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(12):-
Extract of Caragana sinica iv (100mg/kg, 200mg/kg ) significantly decreased the viscosity of wliole blood, plasma viscosity and whole blood reductive viscosity in rabbiLs. It also decreased fibrinogen cotent in plasma, and shortened platelet eletrophoresis time. In addition, extract of C. sinica significantly inhibited platelet adhesiveness.
