Delirium is defined as an acute imbalance state in the higher nervous center.It is more of ten been an accompanied syndrome,or may be a complication associated with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.Delirium occurs frequently in cancer patients,especially in terminal patients.No more attention was paid on it yet.Its clinical feature,diagnosis and treatment were described.
2.The cloning of a new liver cancer related gene and preparation of the antibody

Objective To clone a new liver cancer associated gene, and to explore the molecular basis of liver cancer genesis. Methods Using mRNA differential display polymerase chain reaction (DDPCR), we investigated the difference in mRNA expression between primary hepatocellular carcinoma and paracarcinoma liver tissue, and achieved a gene probe. The target gene expression was proved in parent tissue by Northern blot. Screening the placenta cDNA library, we got a full length cDNA of this gene. By GST fusion protein methods, we prepared the special polyantibody of C end of the gene. We identified the polyantibody and the expression of this gene by Western blot method. Results We obtained a full length cDNA of proline riched cancer associated gene, and we have prepared the specific polyantibody of this gene. Conclusion The obtaining of a novel liver cancer associated gene and successful preparation of the polyantibody pave the way for further study on gene therapy for liver cancer.
3.Talking about the problems in teaching of clinical oncology in medical university

Clinical oncology is becoming more and more important as the tumor incidence increases year by year. According to the need of clinical teaching, some important contents in teaching should be emphasized. And some ideas should be pard attention to such as chronic disease needing long-period and long period of treatment of chronic tumor diseases, necessary pathlolgical diagnosis, in despensible evidence-based medicine, multidisciplinary treatment combined with individualized treatment, caring psychological problems and pain in cancer patients, recognizing tumor research progresses by way of molecular targeted therapy. Finally, some teaching methods to raise study interest in a flexible way were put forward.
4.Effects of acute normovolemic hemodilution plus tranexamic acid on bloodloss and blood transfusion in patients with total knee replacement

Objective To observe the effects of acute normovolemic hemodilution(ANH) plus tranexamic acid on blood loss and blood transfusion in patients with total knee replacement.Methods 98 cases of patients with total knee replacement were divided into ANH group and combination group by computer randomization,49 cases in each group.ANH was performed in ANH group,and ANH plus tranexamic acid was given in combination group.The changes of hemoglobin(Hb),red blood cells deposited(Hct),platelet count(PLT) were observed before and after autologous blood transfusion in two group.The changes of prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),thrombin time(TT),fibrinogen(FIB),D-dimer were observed at preoperative and postoperative in two group.The amount of blood loss and allogeneic blood infusion,the urine volume and the postoperative flow volume were recorded in two groups.Results The average levels of Hb,Hct after autologous blood transfusion in combination group were higher than those in ANH group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The average level of D-dimer at postoperative in combination group were higher than that in ANH group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The amounts of blood loss and allogeneic blood infusion,the postoperative flow volume were lower than those in ANH group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The joint application of ANH and tranexamic acid can effectively reduce the amounts of blood loss and allogeneic blood infusion in patients with total knee replacement,and has a certain clinical value.
5.Effects of PM2.5 on reproductive hormone levels and pregnancy outcome in female rats

Objective To study the effects of PM2.5 on reproductive hormone levels and pregnancy outcome in female rats.Methods Thirty healthy 4-week old female Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the control group (normal saline), low dose of PM2.5(1.5 mg/kg) group and high dose of PM2.5 (37.5 mg/kg) group.After the blood samples were collected, the animals were exposed to PM2.5for 10 days, and then the rats were mated.On the 19th day of pregnancy, the rats were sacrificed for pregnancy outcome observation and blood samples were collected for hormone test.The blood hormone levels were detected using an ELISA kit.Results The live fetus rates in the control, low dose PM2.5 and high dose PM2.5 groups were 90.77%, 59.49% and 60.27%, respectively (P<0.05).The live fetus rates in the low dose PM2.5 and high dose PM2.5 groups were significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).PM2.5decreased the levels of E2, PROG, CG and LH (P<0.05), compared with that in the control group.Although the blood levels of FSH were not significantly different between the low dose and control groups (P>0.05), the level of FSH in the high dose group was significantly decreased (P<0.05).Conclusions PM2.5may affect pregnancy outcome through influencing the hormone levels.
6.Expression of GABA and glutamate vesicular transporter in depressed mice

Objective To study the expression of vesicular GABA transporter and vesicular glutamate transporter 1 in de‐pression .Methods Mice was divided into control group and defeat group stochastically .By social defeat model and social avoidance , the defeat group was divided into two groups:susceptible group and unsusceptible group .Synaptic proteins were extracted respec‐tively from the 3 groups .We detected the expression abundance of VGAT and VGLUT1 by Western blot .Results Compared with the control group ,in susceptible group ,the residence time in the contact area was significantly reduced ,and the residence time in the corner area was significantly increased ,with statistical difference(P<0 .05) .In the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus ,Com‐pared with the control group and the unsusceptible group ,the expression levels of VGLUT1 and VGAT were increased in the sus‐ceptible group(P<0 .05) .there were no statistically significant in VGLUT1 and VGAT leveles between control group and the un‐susceptible group(P>0 .05) .In the striatum ,although the expression levels of VGAT and VGLUT1 were increased in susceptible group ,but in unsusceptible group ,the expression of these proteins also increased significantly .Conclusion The prefrontal cortex and hippo‐campus excitability and inhibitory vesicle transport were changed in depression ,which may relate to the transcription disorder .
7.The expression levels of three T-type calcium channel receptors in inner ear of C57BL/6J mice with age.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the expression levels of three T-type calcium channel receptors (α1G; α1H; α1I) in the cochlea and spiral ganglion neurons of C57BL/6J mice with different ages.
METHOD:
Thirty cases of C57BL/6J mice were divided into three groups (6-8 W, 24-26 W, 42-44 W) according to the age. The expressions of three T-type calcium channel receptors were quantified by RT-PCR after hearing thresholds measured by ABR.
RESULT:
Three receptors were detected in the cochlea and spiral ganglion neurons of 6-8 W C57BL/6J mice. The quantitative results showed that the expression levels of α1H and α1I were highest among three receptors in spiral ganglion neurons and in the cochlea respectively. The expression levels of three receptors significantly decreased with age,especially at the age of 4244 W.
CONCLUSION
The expression of T-type calcium channel receptors reduced with age in the inner ear of C57BL/6J mice.

9.Diagnostic value of serum anti-phospholipase A2 receptor antibodies (PLA2R) in idiopathic membranous nephropathy

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value and monitoring application of anti-phospholipase A2 receptor antibodies ( PLA2R ) in patients with idiopathic membranous nephropathy ( IMN) .Methods A retrospective study was used .48 patients were diagnosed as idiopathic membranous nephropathy by puncturing kidney from January of 2013 to June of 2014 in the Hospital of Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medical University and Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University were included. 43 patients were diagnosed as non-idiopathic membranous nephropathy ( NIMN ).35 healthy volunteers were selected as control groups.Serum PLA2R were detected by indirect immunofluorescence.The intensity of antibodies fluorescence and the level of urine protein in 24 hours(24 h PRO) ,serum UREA ,serum CYSC, serum UA,GFR were compared in each groups.Measurement data was shown as mean ±standard deviation;Count data was shown as frequency or composition, t test andχ2 test were used as statistical method.Results (1) Among 48 cases with IMN,37 cases showed positive PLA2R (positive rate 77.08%).All of cases were negative in NIMN group.The sensitivity and the specificity of serum PLA2R were 77.08%and 100%.(2) Compared with control groups, the levels of UREA, CYSC and UA were found statistically significant differences in patients with IMN ( P <0.05 ) .( The levels of UREA in control groups and IMN groups respectively:4.12 ±1.25,6.02 ±2.28, t =4.446,P=0.00;UA:262 ±49,331 ±112,t =2.577,P =0.017;CYSC:0.78 ±0.21,1.16 ±0.27,t=4.63,P=0.00.) 10.Impact of obesity on long-term survival after aortic valve replacement with small prosthesis

Objective This study was designed to evaluate the effect of obesity on late survival after aortic valve replacement(AVR) in patients with implantation of small aortic prosthesis(size≤21).Methods From January 1998 through December 2008,307 patients in a single center in china underwent primary AVR with smaller prosthesis survive the 30 days of surgery.Patients were defined as normal if body mass index (BM1) < 24.0 kg/m2,as overweight if BMI 24.0-27.9 kg/m2,and as obesity if BMI≥28.0 kg/m2.Data of New York Heart Association(NYHA) Functional class,effective orifice area index (EOAI),left ventricular mass index(LVMI),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) were got at the 3rd month(M),6th M,1 st year(Y),3rd Y,5th Y,8th Y after operation respectively.Results At multivariable analysis,obesity was independent factor of later mortality [hazard ratio (HR):1.62 ; P =0.01].Obesity group and overweight group had poor survival (P <0.001)and higher proportion of NYHA Function Ⅲ/Ⅳ (P < 0.01) in long-term compared to normal group.EOAI were lower and LVMI were higher in obesity group and overweight group,but LVEF have no significant difference.Conclusion Obesity is associated with increased late mortality after AVR in patients with implantation of small aortic prosthesis.Obesity and overweight may also affect the NYHA function in long term.EOAI should be improved where possible as it may reduce late mortality and improve life quality in such patients.
