Objective To explore the expression changes of C/EBP homologous binding protein (CHOP)in intermittent hypoxic rats with cognitive function decline and clinical significance. Methods We randomly divided 75 adult male Wistar rats into normal group (NC group),5% intermittent hypoxia group (5% CIH group)and 10%intermittent hypoxia group (10% CIH group),with 25 rats in each. Then the three groups were further divided into 3 d,7 d,14 d,21 d and 28 d subgroups, and each time a subgroup had 5 rats. The control group was exposed to the air while 10% CIH group and 5% CIH group were exposed to CIH for eight hours from 8:00 to 1 6:00 each day. After exposure for 3 d,7 d,14 d,21 d and 28 d,the cognitive function of rats was assessed with Morris water maze, the expression of CHOP in the hippocampus was assayed qualitatively by immunohistochemical technique, and the apoptosis of neurons was detected by TUNEL method. Results ① With prolonged hypoxia, the time of escape latency obviously prolonged, the time spent crossing the target quadrant shortened (P < 0.05 ),and the apoptosis index of hippocampal neurons in the CIH groups was increased gradually compared with those in control group (P <0.05).The above-mentioned indexes changed more significantly in 5% CIH group than in 10% CIH group (P <0.05).②.The expression of CHOP protein at each time point was increased (P <0.05 ).In 10% CIH group it reached the peak at 28 d while in 5% CIH group it decreased after it peaked at 21 d.③ The expression of CHOP in the two CIH groups was positively correlated with apoptosis index and animal escape latency time, but negatively correlated with the target quadrant time. Conclusion Intermittent hypoxia, which is likely to induce the high expression of CHOP and activation of neural CHOP mediated apoptosis, causes cognitive impairment of various degrees.

Objective Both decreased glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and arterial stiffness were considered as risk factors for atherosclerosis. Previous studies have suggested the association between central arterial stiffness and the degree of GFR loss. Whether decreased GFR contributes to peripheral artery stiffness remains controversial. Moreover, data analyzed from a cohort of Chinese women are rare. Our aim was to explore the relationship between GFR and regional arterial stiffness in Chinese women. Methods In this cross-sectional study, we randomly recruited 1131 adult women residents with GFR ≥ 60 mL/min per 1.73 m2 estimated by the Chinese Modification of Diet in Renal Disease equation from three large communities. Central and peripheral arterial stiffness were estimated simultaneously by measuring carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity (PWVcf) and carotid-radial PWV (PWVcr) using a validated automatic device. Augmentation Index at heart rate 75 beats/minutes (AIx-75) was measured by pulse wave analysis as a composite parameter reflecting both large and distal arterial properties. Results The mean estimated GFR (eGFR) of the study group was 100.05 ± 23.26 mL/minute per 1.73 m2. Subjects were grouped by tertiles of eGFR level. PWVcf and AIx-75 increased ongoing from the top to the bottom eGFR tertile, while the values of PWVcr were comparable. Both univariate Pearson correlations and multiple stepwise regression analyses showed that eGFR significantly correlated to PWVcf, but not to PWVcr and AIx-75. Conclusions In Chinese women with normal to mildly impaired renal function, decreased eGFR affected carotid-to-femoral rather than carotid-to-radial stiffening. This provides rational to conduct future prospective studies to investigate predictors of atherosclerosis in this population.

Disinfection test is the main way to evaluate the disinfection effect of field disinfection and disinfection products, and the test microorganism is the basis of disinfection test, which determines the scientificity, accuracy and effectiveness of disinfection test. With the development of disinfection technology and the improvement of disease prevention and control needs, the disinfection evaluation system is constantly being improved. At the same time, not only disinfection tests are constantly updated, but also test microorganisms face new development needs and considerations. The construction of standard microbial strain system for disinfection tests in China should be further improved and promoted to ensure the independence and innovation of disinfection professional development, and to effectively promote independent innovation in disinfection-related industries in China.

Objective:To explore the characteristics of eosinophilic granulomatous polyangiitis (EGPA) and provide a basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the epidemiology, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, imaging and pathological characteristics, and treatment outcomes of 15 cases of eosinophilic granulomatous vasculitis. Results:Fifteen patients with eosinophilic granulomatous vasculitis were aged (50.7±17.2)years old, with a median time of 182.5 days from onset to diagnosis. Thirteen patients presented with respiratory symptoms as the initial diagnosis, while the other two presented with skin and nervous system damage. These patients were all accompanied by an increase in peripheral blood eosinophils, fluctuating between 10.6% and 60.94%. Thirteen patients had respiratory symptoms, mainly cough, sputum production, shortness of breath, and varied chest computed tomography (CT) findings. Histopathology or alveolar lavage fluid also showed changes in eosinophil count. Conclusions:The clinical manifestations of eosinophilic granulomatous vasculitis are diverse, often involving the respiratory system, as well as multiple systems such as the circulatory system, digestive system, nervous system, urinary system, and skin. However, due to its frequent early manifestations of wheezing, it is often misdiagnosed as refractory asthma. Improving the understanding of eosinophilic granulomatous vasculitis and improving the level of early diagnosis can help improve the prognosis of patients.

Objective:To investigate the characteristics of attention bias to aggressive information under self-threat priming in college students with different types of high self-esteem.Methods:A total of 650 college students were selected, and high self-esteem participants were selected through the Self Esteem Scale(SES).Then,43 partic-ipants were selected from different types of high self-esteem(fragile and safe)groups through the Implicit Associa-tion Test(IAT).Each group participated in Raven's Standard Progressive Matrices(SPM)with different difficulty levels to complete self-threat priming, and then completed the spatial cue experiment. When the cue was invalid, the attention bias was obtained according to the variation of the reaction time difference(RTI)between the subjects're-sponses to aggressive words and neutral words. Results:The RTI values of the fragile high self-esteem group were higher under high self-threat priming than that of the secure high self-esteem group(P<0.01).Under low self-threat priming, there was no significant difference in RTI values among different types of high self-esteem groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Fragile high self-esteem group are more likely to develop attention bias towards aggressive words under high self-threat priming than that of secure high self-esteem group.
