2.Antibiotics Clinical Usage in General Hospital
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(06):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate the usage of antibiotics for improving the management and proper clinical utilization. METHODS The data of 781 inpatients had been analyzed by field survey in our hospital in July 27,2005.The data were analyzed by computer. RESULTS The rate of antibiotic usage was 56.98%,and the rate of preventive antibiotic usage was 20.74%.Cephalosporins were the first, quinolones were the next and then penicillins in the antibiotics usage.Only 33.57% infectious patients were made bacteria culture and antibiotics drug sensitive test. Most antibiotics were used according to clinical experience. CONCLUSIONS Most of the doctors can use antibiotics properly. The strengthening control and rational antibiotics usage in prevention are the key means to decrease the numbers of irrational application.
3.Epigenetics and nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2014;41(5):335-337
The etiology of nasopharyngeal carcinoma is still not very clear.Epigenetics is proved to play an important role in the occurrence and development of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).Detection of epigenetics can serve as molecular index of NPC,and it is advantageous to the prognosis and disease of NPC.Different intervention measures in the epigenetics can be used as a new treatment of NPC,as well as the development of new NPC radiotherapy sensitization agent and new drugs.Study of epigenetics changes in nasopharyngeal carcinoma provides a new idea for the diagnosis and treatment in NPC and so on.
4.Th1/Th2 Cell and Tumor Recurrence
Chinese Journal of Bases and Clinics in General Surgery 2003;0(04):-
Objective To review the relationship between T helper cell 1/T helper cell 2 (Th1/Th2) shift and tumor recurrence. Methods Literatures on Th1/Th2 shift and tumor recurrence were collected and reviewed. Results Th1/Th2 shift can be detected in the host after therapy of the tumor. Tumor cells escape from host immune surveillance by altering Th1/Th2, which could lead to tumor recurrence. Conclusion Th1/Th2 shift is related to tumor recurrence after therapy. Impelling the reverse of Th2 to Th1 and renewing the balance of T helper cells come out to be a new way for tumor therapy.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of the transdermal acupoint stimulation treatment on intractable hiccups of patient with blood disease. [Methods]The 57 inpatients with intractable hiccups induced by chemotherapy or corticosteroids were randomly divided into two groups, percutaneous acupoint electric stimulation group and control group with Ritalin injecting in zusani, from January 2010 to December 2013. Clincal effect and adverse reaction were compared and analyzed after treatment. [Result]There was no significant difference on the clinical effect between two groups, while the adverse reaction in percutaneous acupoint electric stimulation therapy group was relatively mild.[Conclusion] Percutaneous acupoint electric stimulation is an effective method for the treatment of intractable hiccups, which should be popularized in clinical practice.

Objective To investigate serum levels of interleukin(IL)-22 in typeⅠhypersensitivity disease patients with monosensitization and polysensitization, inhaled allergens and food allergens, and explore the correlation between IL-22 levels and allergens. Methods A total of 100 patients with typeⅠhypersensitivity disease and 30 normal controls were recruited in this study.Western blot and enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay were used to detect 19 types of allergens′ specific IgE antibody and IL-22 concentrations, respectively. Results Serum level of IL-22 was positive correlated with the number of sensitized allergens(r=0.318,P=0.001).The levels of IL-22 in polysensitization patients, monosensitization patients and normal controls were 24.52(20.41,29.27),22.02(15.25,25.59),18.06(16.02,23.04)pg/mL respectively.IL-22 in polysensitization patients(n=42) were higher than those in monosensitization patients(n=58) and normal controls(U=867.500 and 229.000,P<0.05,respectively).Compared with the normal controls, the IL-22 level was also higher in monosensitization patients(U=608.000),the difference was significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference on IL-22 between inhaled allergens patients(n=34) and food allergens patients(n=24)(t=0.082,P>0.05).Conclusion Serum level of IL-22 increases in type Ⅰhypersensitivity disease patients, was is positive correlated with the number of sensitized allergens.

Objective To investigate the protective effect and mechanism of Astragaloside Ⅳ (AS-Ⅳ) on hypoxia/re-oxygenation induced by RAW264.7 murine macrophages. Methods The hypoxia/re- oxygenation induced RAW264.7 murine macrophages served as a model of I/R injury. The cells were divided into the control group, the model group, and the AS-Ⅳ group. The cell morphological changes of each group were observed directly under inverted microscope. Inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), cluster of differentiation 206 (CD206), and peroxisome proliferator activated receptor-γ (PPAR-γ) were separately examined by RT-PCR, Western blot analysis and immunofluorescence staining. Results Compared with the model group, the numbers of cell in AS-Ⅳ group significantly increased , and the cell physiological status were much better. Compared with the model group, the iNOS immunofluorescence semi quantitative (0.62 ± 0.02 vs. 1.32 ± 0.09), the expression of mRNA (1.51 ± 0.07 vs. 3.46 ± 0.39), and protein (2.30 ± 0.14 vs. 5.16 ± 0.49) significantly reduced in AS-Ⅳ group (P<0.01). The CD206 immunofluorescence semi quantitative (1.01 ± 0.03 vs.0.61 ± 0.01), the expression of mRNA (0.91 ± 0.03 vs.0.51 ± 0.01), and protein (0.61 ± 0.04 vs.0.19 ± 0.01) significantly reduced in AS-Ⅳ group (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the PPAR-γ immunofluorescence semi quantitative (0.60 ± 0.14 vs. 0.34 ± 0.03), mRNA (2.00 ± 0.14 vs.1.04 ± 0.03), andprotein (0.67 ± 0.05 vs.0.19 ± 0.01) significantly increased (P<0.01). Conclusions The AS-Ⅳ could attenuate ischemia-reperfusion injury by altering macrophages phenotype through upregulation PPAR-γ.

ObjectiveTo efficiently detect somsatosensory evoked potential (SEP) using field programmable gate array (FPGA) real-time system, fixed-point algorithm based adaptive noise canceller (ANC) was designed to improve signal to noise ratio (SNR). MethodsWith the optimization of important parameters that influence the performance of fixed-point algorithm ANC, the performance was compared to that of floating-point algorithm ANC which was isolated from the effect of quantization error. Results In the simulation study, the outputs of fixed-point-based ANC showed a little higher distortion from real SEP signals than that of floating-point algorithm ANC. In the optimal selection of μ value, fixed-point algorithm ANC could get as good results as floating-point algorithm. Conclusion With appropriate parameter values, fixed-point algorithm ANC is able to improve SNR of SEP as well as that of fixed-point algorithm ANC.
