Objective:
To investigate the status and influencing factors of substance-induced psychotic disorders in residents over 18 years old in Hebei Province, and to provide evidence for the prevention and control of substance-induced psychotic disorders.
Methods:
Using multi-stage stratified random sampling method, the permanent residents aged 18 years and over were selected from urban and rural areas in Hebei Province. The demographic data was collected, the 12-Item General Health Questionnaire ( GHQ-12 ) and eight risk factors about mental disorder questionnaire were used to find out mental disorders. The multivariate logistic regression model was conducted to analyze the influencing factor for substance-induced psychotic disorders.
Results:
A total of 23 675 questionnaires were sent out, 20 884 were valid ( 88.20% ).The weighted lifetime prevalence rates of substance-induced psychotic disorders, alcohol-related disorders, sedatives/hypnotics/anti-anxiety disorders and other substance-induced psychotic disorders were 6.20%, 5.93%, 0.24% and 0.04%, respectively. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age ( 35-<45, OR=1.582, 95%CI: 1.091-2.292; 45-<60, OR=2.185, 95%CI: 1.524-3.132; ≥60, OR=2.061, 95%CI: 1.422-2.986 ), males ( OR=10.832, 95%CI: 8.265-14.196 ), urban area (OR=1.431, 95%CI: 1.202-1.703 ), non-poor family ( OR=2.291, 95%CI: 1.652-3.177 ), physical diseases ( OR=2.028, 95%CI: 1.678-2.452 ) and genetic history ( OR=1.574, 95%CI:1.181-2.098 ) were the influencing factors for substance-induced psychotic disorders.
Conclusion
The lifetime prevalence of substance-induced psychotic disorders among residents aged 18 years and over in Hebei Province is 6.20%, which is mainly related to age, gender, region, family economic situation, physical disease history and genetic history.

Objective To explore the classification and risk factors of nocturia in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods The 120 males aged 60 years old and over were enrolled who were first diagnosed as BPH or had ceased the BPH medication for at least 3 months. The patients were divided into six groups according to the nocturnal voiding episodes estimated according to the international prostate symptom score (IPSS). All 120 males were inquired about general information and medical histories. The time and volume of intake and voided urine were recorded for 72 hours. The indexes of prostate and bladder function in all cases were also examined and recorded. Results The incidence of nocturia in our study was 79.2%, the incidence of nocturnal polyuria and overactive bladder were 3.3% and 10.8%, respectively. The quality of life was affected by the duration between the time of patients' going to bed and the first time getting up at night. After excluding the cases of nocturnal polyuria and overactive bladder, statistical analysis indicated that the age, and residual urine volume of the bladder were positively associated with nocturia frequencies (NF), the nocturnal voiding volume negatively with NF, while the prostate volume and peak flow rate were not associated with NF. Drinking volume in 24-hours affected the nocturia (P<0. 01). Conclusions Nocturia is a common complaint in elderly males with BPH and significantly affects the quality of life. The age and the storing function of bladder are more important factors as compared with prostate hyperplasia itself.

Objective To study the influence of the distance of displaced fragment on the union of diaphysis fracture. Methods A wedge-shaped bone fragment was taken from central radial of the right forelimb of 120 New Zealand white rabbits for estabhshment of experimental animal model. The bone fragment was fixed to the main bone with two Kirschner wires, with certain space between bone fragment and the main bone. Then, the rabbits were divided into five groups, ie, Group A (in situ fixation),Group B (the space was 1/5 diameter of the radial shaft), Group C (the space was 2/5 diameter of the radial shaft), Group D (the space was 3/5 diameter of the radial shaft), Group E (the space was 4/5 diameter of the radial shaft). The animals were killed at 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks after operation. X-ray photos were taken to observe the fracture healing and the improved Gary X-ray used for scoring. HE staining after tissue section was employed to observe the histomorphological changes of fracture healing. Immunohistochemical method was used to determine expression of BMP-2. Results X-ray findings showed insignificant statistical difference between Group A and Group B, delayed union in Groups C and D and nonunion of bone absorption in Group E. Morphological observation showed same change in fracture site in Groups A and B lout significant late in emergence, formation and remodeling of the callus in the other groups compared with Group A, mainly with delayed fracture union or nonunion. There was no statistical difference in expression of BMP-2 between Group B and Group A (P > 0. 05), but there was statistical significance in Groups C, D and E compared with Group A at 2 weeks (P <0.01). There was statistical difference between Group E and Group A at 4 weeks (P <0. 01) but no statistical difference at 6 and 8 weeks between either two groups (P > 0. 05). Conclusions The distance of displaced fragment will influence fracture healing. The larger distance of the displaced fragment will beget more obvious influence on fracture healing. When the distance is more than 2/5 diameter of the bone shaft, the fracture will present union disorder.

Objective:To explore the effect of health education based on theory of planned behavior combined with stepped care model on negative emotion, psychological flexibility and quality of life in patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Methods:From October 2020 to December 2021, 108 chemotherapy patients who underwent lung cancer surgery in Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical College and had anxiety or depression that scores was greater than 7 in any dimension of the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) were selected as the study subjects. The study subjects were divided into observation group ( n=46) and control group ( n=48) by random digits table method. Routine care was implemented in the control group. The observation group implemented health education based on the theory of planned behavior combined with stepped care model intervention. The HADS scale was used every 4 weeks to assess negative emotion in both groups. In observation, patients with negative emotion relief stop the next stage of nursing intervention, and patients without relief continue the next stage of higher intensity nursing intervention. Results:Before the intervention, there were no significant difference in the scores of negative emotion, psychological flexibility and quality of life between the two groups ( P>0.05). After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of negative emotion and the total score in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences had statistical significance ( t=4.86, 3.19 and 4.53, all P<0.05). After the intervention the scores of psychological flexibility and quality of life dimensions and the total score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences had statistical significance (t values were -6.01--2.89, all P<0.05). After the intervention, there was no significant difference in the remission rate of negative emotions between the clinical observation stage of the observation group and the concurrent control group ( P>0.05). The remission rates of guided self-help, problem-solving therapy, psychological or drug therapy and total negative emotions in the observation group were 38.46%(15/39), 33.33%(8/24), 6/16 and 78.26%(36/46), respectively, which were higher than those in the control group, and the differences had statistical significance ( χ2 values were 7.04 - 13.80, all P<0.05). Conclusions:Health education based on the theory of planned behavior combined with stepped care model can effectively alleviate the negative emotions of lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and improve psychological flexibility and quality of life.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the protective effect of sesamin against cadmium chloride (CdCl2)-induced cardiotoxicity in rats.
METHODSFifty male Wistar rats were randomly assigned to five groups: control group, CdCl2 group, and low-, middle-, and high-dose sesamin groups. The control group was given normal saline. The CdCl2 group and sesamin groups were intraperitoneally injected with CdCl2 (5 mg/kg×2 d), and the low-, middle-, and high-dose sesamin groups were given 20, 40, and 80 mg/kg sesamin, respectively. All treatments lasted for four weeks. ECG was measured by a physiological recorder, and serum myocardial enzyme levels were determined by biochemical assay. The heart was weighed, and heart tissues were used in histopathological examination and determination of malondialdehyde (MDA) level.
RESULTSCompared with the control group, the CdCl2 group showed significantly higher levels of serum CK and CK-MB, an increased heart coefficient, significant ST-segment elevation, and higher level of MDA in myocardial tissue (P < 0.05). Histopathological analysis showed edema of myocardial tissues and cells, myocardial fibers disorder, karyopyknosis, and uneven or deep staining of nuclear chromatin. Different doses of sesamin relieved the myocardial pathological changes induced by CdCl2, and high-dose sesamin was the most effective. The middle- and high-dose sesamin groups showed significantly reduced serum CK and CK-MB levels compared with the CdCl2 group (P < 0.05). The heart coefficient of the high-dose sesamin group (0.19±0.01%) was significantly lower than that of the CdCl2 group (0.21±0.01%) (P < 0.05). Myocardial MDA levels of the three sesamin groups (42.32±4.65, 36.71±5.34, and 33.12±4.62 nmol/mg pro, respectively) were all significantly lower than that of the CdCl2 group (55.87±3.65 nmol/mg pro) (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSesamin can relieve myocardial injury induced by CdCl2, and one possible mechanism is the enhancement of antioxidant capacity of myocardial tissue.
