The gating mechanical kinetical of ion channels has been modeled as a Markov process. In these models it is assumed that the channel protein has a small number of discrete conformational states and kinetic rate constants connecting these states are constant, the transition rate constants among the states is independent both of time and of the previous channel activity. It is assumed in Liebovitch's fractal model that the channel exists in an infinite number of energy states, consequently, transitions from one conductance state to another would be governed by a continuum of rate constants. In this paper, a statistical comparison is presented of Markov and fractal models of ion channel gating, the analysis is based on single-channel data from ion channel voltage-dependence K+ single channel of neuron cell and simulation data from three-states Markov model.

Objective To observe and evaluate the clinical effect of pure hemodialysis (HD﹚, hemodialysis combined with hemoperfusion (HD+HP﹚, hemodialysis combined with hemodiafiltration (HDF﹚ on onuremic patients. Methods All 90 patients with uremic in our hospital from January 2011 to May 2014 were randomly divided into HD group, (HD+HP﹚ group,HDF group according to the treatment methods, 30 cases in each group. After two months, the skin itching symptoms and blood toxin levels before and after treatment in each group of were compared. Results Before treatment,Pi, Scr and BUN levels were not significantly different between groups(P>0.05﹚. After treatment the Pi, Scr and BUN levels were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05﹚. No significant differences between groups(P>0.05﹚. Before treatment, three groups of PTH, β2-MG and Cys C level had no significant difference (P>0.05﹚.After treatment, three groups of PTH,β2-MG and Cys C levels were significantly decreased than before treat-ment(P<0.05﹚.Multiple comparisons between groups showed that the indexes of the level of (HD+HP﹚group was lower than that of the other two groups (P<0.05﹚.(HD+HP﹚ group,HDF group of skin pruritus symptom improvement rate were higher than those in HD group (P<0.05﹚,but (HD+HP﹚groups, HDF groups had no significant difference (P>0.05﹚. Conclusion Scavenging effects of HD,(HD+HP﹚and HDF to the small molecules are roughly the same, but scavenging effect of(HD+HP﹚and HDF for large, middle molecular substances are better than those of HD,so (HD+HP﹚ has the best effect.

Objective:
To evaluate the quality of Pneumoconiosis Network Direct Report in Sichuan Province in 2006-2016.
Methods:
download all the pneumoconiosis report cards from the Network Direct Report system. Screen out cards based on the diagnosis time that is between January 1st 2006 and December 31st 2016. Using R 3.4.0 software to analysis the number of missing or repeated cards, time-logical error rates, timeliness, reporting year, reporting intervals to evaluate the quality of Pneumoconiosis Network Direct Report and location distribution.
Results:
there are 38 855 pieces of Pneumoconiosis report card in total in 2006-2016. 352 pieces of cards were reported twice. 224 cards were missing. 229 cards have time-logical error. The rate of timely reporting for 2006-2016 years was 66.41% (2 5453/38 326) , 67.14% (24 658/36 726) for new cases, 58.87% (783/1 330) for promoting cases and 4.44% (12/270) for deaths. 87.38% (33 490/38 326) patients was reported in the same year. 10 days was needed to finish one report, confirming-filling cost much more time than filling-report (9.865/49.019) .
Conclusion
the records of pneumoconiosis report cards are much more complete, logical errors are less, and the timeliness was a little bit higher than the average level in China. But it also should be improved. The death cases are difficult to report. It takes longer to diagnose and fill in cards. Improving the timeliness rate can significantly improve the quality of network direct reporting.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the significance of NADPH quinine oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1) protein overexpression on prognostic evaluation of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).
METHODSNQO1 protein was detected in 162 of HNSCC, 45 cases of adjacent nontumor tissues and 26 samples of normal head and neck epithelia using EnVision immunohistochemical. Correlation between NQO1 overexpression and patients prognosis was also analyzed.
RESULTSThe positive rate and strongly positive rate of NQO1 protein were 84.0% (136/162) and 69.8% (113/162) in HNSCC, respectively, and both of which were significantly higher than either those in adjacent nontumor tissues and normal head and neck epithelia (both P < 0.01). NQO1 expression was significantly correlated with the clinical stage, pT and chemoradiotherapy of HNSCC (P < 0.01). Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that overall survival and disease-free survival rates were significantly higher in HNSCC patients with high level NQO1 expression than that those with low level of NQO1 expression (Log-rank = 6.625 , P = 0.010;Log-rank = 6.234 , P = 0.013). Additional analysis by Cox proportional hazard regression model showed that high level of NQO1 expression was an independent hazard predictor for overall survival of patients with HNSCC (Wald = 6.626, P = 0.008).
CONCLUSIONSNQO1 expression level is closely correlated with the progression and prognosis of patients with HNSCC. High level of NQO1 expression may be used as an important indicator for patients with poor prognostic HNSCC.

Stem cells hold great promise for regenerative medicine because of their ability to self-renew and to differentiate into various cell types. Although embryonic stem cells (BSC) have greater differentiation potential than adult stem cells, the former is lagging in reaching clinical applications because of ethical concerns and governmental restrictions. Bone marrow stem cells (BMSC) are the best-studied adult stem cells (ASC) and have the potential to treat a wide variety of diseases, including erectile dysfunction (ED) and male infertility. More recently discovered adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ADSC) are virtually identical to bone marrow stem cells in differentiation and therapeutic potential, but are easier and safer to obtain, can be harvested in larger quantities, and have the associated benefit of reducing obesity. Therefore, ADSC appear to be a better choice for future clinical applications. We have previously shown that ESC could restore the erectile function of neurogenic ED in rats, and we now have evidence that ADSC could do so as well. We are also investigating whether ADSC can differentiate into Leydig, Sertoli and male germ cells. The eventual goal is to use ADSC to treat male infertility and testosterone deficiency.
