1.Therapeutic Observation of Electroacupuncture for Functional Constipation
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(3):214-217
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of electroacupuncture in treating functional constipation. Method Sixty patients with functional constipation were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 in each group. The treatment group was intervened by electroacupuncture, while the control group was by sham-electroacupuncture. The Clinic Constipation Score (CCS), therapeutic efficacy index, plasma NOS, and plasma 5-HT were observed before and after intervention.Result The CCS was changed significantly after intervention in both groups (P<0.05). After intervention, there was a significant difference in comparing the CCS between the two groups (P<0.05). The total effective rate was 93.3% in the treatment group versus 66.7% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The NOS and 5-HT contents were changed significantly after intervention in both groups (P<0.05). After intervention, there were significant differences in comparing the NOS and 5-HT contents between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture is an effective approach in treating functional constipation, and it can improve NOS and 5-HT contents in gastrointestinal tract.
2.Iatrogenic anemia in intensive care unit
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2012;19(2):124-127
Acute and chronic anemias are frequently seen in patients of ICU.Besides the underlying diseases, anemia can also be induced by the examination and treatment. In this paper, the reasons of iatrogenic anemia were analyzed. On the base of the essential diagnosis and treatment,it is helpful to improve the prognosis of ICU patients by strengthening the administration of blood collection. The risk of iatrogenic anemia could be minimized by making a reasonable project of blood transfusion.
3.Antifungal agents and treatment options in children with invasive fungal disease
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2016;23(9):589-594
Invasive fungal disease( IFD)in children can be life-threatening. Because of no differenti-al clinical manifestations, the early treatment is difficult. In this paper, according to the relevant literatures and clinical practices in recent years,we reviewed the commonly used antifungal drugs and the choices of treat-ment of invasive fungal disease in children.
4.Clinical progress of early enteral nutrition in critically ill children
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2015;22(2):86-89
Most crit call y ill children have severe stress, the metabolic changes are speic fic and com-plex.Enternal nutritio n and early enternal nutrition can maintenance the nutrition metabolism andp rotect the intestinal mucosal bar ier na d digestive fnu ction. It also improve the perufs ion of tissue, regulate the immune, and significantly reduce the infection and the incidence of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, reduce the occurrence of infection,so as to improve the rp ognosi .It has broad prospects for cliniacl application.Early enteral nutrition is the focus of this ap per,in order to provide some reference for the treatment of critci ally ill chli dren.
5.Definition and common etiology of acute liver failure in children
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2012;(6):557-559
Acute liver failure (ALF)in children is life-threatening clinical syndrome. There is an obvious difference between children and adults in the definition of ALF.The etiologies of ALF in children are related to virus infection, inherited metabolic diseases and drug intoxication. But in the infants, the etiological factors are significantly different to the elder children in ALF.The definition and etiology of ALF in children are reviewed in the paper.
6.Environmental control and nosocomial infections in pediatric intensive care unit
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2012;19(4):333-336
Nosocomial infections take a tremendous impact to patients and curative activities in PICU.The occuring and developing of nosocomial infections are in close relation to the different internal and external environments of the patients. The incidence rate of nosocomial infections can be effectively reduced by the control of environmental factors in timely and reasonably. This paper reviewed the related internal and external environment factors and control measures in PICU nosocomial infections.

Chinese Journal of Pancreatology 2015;15(1):10-13
Objective To investigate operation time on biliary duct stone with acute gallstone pancreatitis. Methods The clinical data of 44 patients with acute gallstone pancreatitis who were admitted to Department of General Surgery,Taicang First People's Hospital for surgical management from January 2011 to December 2013 were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were divided into early surgery group and delayed surgery group according to the timing.Early surgery group was defined as the patients whose symptoms of pancreatitis were basically disappeared after conservative treatment and surgery was performed within two weeks, while delayed surgery group was defined as the patients who underwent surgery after two weeks. Results Of the 44 acute gallstone pancreatitis cases,18 patients were males, and 26 were females, with median age of 54 years old (range 26-83 years old).Forty-two cases were mild acute pancreatitis and the other two cases were severe acute pancreatitis.Preoperative imaging indicated both cholecystolithiasis and choledocholithiasis in 5 patients, cholecystolithiasis alone in 39 patients. The 5 patients underwent cholecystectomy and choledocholithotomy with T-tube drainage.Among these 5 cases, one patient with concomitant acute suppurative cholangitis had an emergency surgery, two patients with Ranson score ≤3 had early surgery, and two patients with Ranson score ≥4 had delayed surgery, and all the patients were cured and discharged.Thirty-nine cases with cholecystolithiasis alone were treated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Among the 39 patients,25 patients underwent early laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and the other 14 patients underwent delayed surgery, and all the patients were cured and discharged. When compared with delayed group, the average age and Ranson score of early group were lower [(46 ± 12) yrs vs (64 ± 11) yrs and (1.0 ± 0.5) vs (1.5 ± 0.8)],and the median hospital length of stay and the cost were significantly less in the early group than those in the delayed group [(14.0 ± 2.8) d vs (18.1 ± 3.3) d and (17 899 ± 3461) Yuan vs (23 710 ± 3230) Yuan],and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).Nevertheless,there was no difference between the operation time and recovery time. There was no conversion to open surgery or post-operative complication in the two groups. Conclusions For severe acute pancreatitis, the delayed operation is recommended when the symptom of pancreatitis is completely improved after conservative management, while for mild acute pancreatitis, early surgery does not increase operation difficulty and complication, and it can decrease the length of hospital stays and costs.

Objective To explore the accuracy rate of CO2 injection method and conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the staging diagnosis for stage Ⅰ carcinoma of endometrium. Methods Preoperative staging diagnosis for stage Ⅰ carcinoma of endometrium was done, and the method of injecting CO2 gas into the uterine lumen by catheter was applied for pelvic MRI scan in 38 cases of stage Ⅰ carcinoma of endometrium. The pathological staging result was treated as the gold standard to compare the accuracy rate of CO2 injection method with conventional scan method (43 cases). Results For conventional MRI scan group, the accuracy rate of staging diagnosis in stage Ⅰ carcinoma of endometrium was 81.3 % (35/43),including stage Ⅰ A 75.0 %(6/8),stage Ⅰ B 83.9 %(26/31),stage Ⅰ c 75.0 %(3/4).For CO2 injection group, the accuracy rate was 89.4 %(34/38),including stage Ⅰ A 85.7 %(6/7),stage Ⅰ B 88.9 %(16/18),stage Ⅰ c 84.6 % (12/13).There was a statistical difference between the accuracy rates of two methods (x2=7.81,P < 0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional scan method, the CO2 injection method with better simplicity, safety and application value, could be more accurate to determine the location of endometrial cancer and the degree of myometrial infiltration.
