2.Erythrocyte membrane Na-pumping K~+-pNPPase activity and red cell deformability in diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(06):-
The activity of erythrocyte membrane Na-pumping K~+-activated pera-nitro-phenylphosphatase (K~+-pNPPase) and red cell deformability (RCD) were stndied in 50adult patients with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM). RCD was expressedas red blood cell filtration index (RBC-IF). In comparison with the healthy subject, theactivity of erythrocyte membrane Na-pumping K~+-pNPPase was significantly decreased, and RBC-IF was significantly increased. The above-mentioned changes were more severein NIDDM with retinopathy than those without. There was a very close negative corre-lation between Na-pumping K~+-pNPPase and RBC-IF. These results indicated that thedecrease of erythrocyte membrane Na-pumping K~+-pNPPase activity might be an importantfactor fot the decrease of RCD.
3.Effects of isoproterenol on myocardial fibrosis and related cytokines in rats
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2004;0(10):-
AIM:To study the effects of isoproterenol (Iso) on cardiac fibrosis and related cytokines in rats. METHODS:20 SD rats were divided into control and Iso group in random, with 10 rats each group. After injected Iso, cardiac histology was observed and cardiac function, collagen volume fraction (CVF), content of collagen protein and the concentrations of Angiotensin Ⅱ (Angll) and nitrogen monoxide (NO) were measured in the two groups. RESULTS:Compared with control group, microscopic examination showed that fibrosis increased in Iso group. Iso did decrease cardiac function and NO levels and increase CVF, content of collagen protein and AngII levels. Left ventricular pressure maximal rate of rise (+ dp/dt_(max)) and left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP) were not significantly different from that of control group. CONCLUSIONS:Iso can induce myocardial fibrosis and change levels of related cytokines in rats.

0.998. The detection limits were in the range of 16-40 ng/L(S/N=3). The quantitative detection limits were in the range of 45-105 ng/L(S/N=10) with recovery percentages ranging from 87.6% to 106% and the relative standard deviations was lower than 3%. Conclusion The method was proved to be satisfactory in precision, accuracy and sensitivity and applicable to the daily test of estrogens in water.

Aim To investigate whether Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent kinase Ⅱ(CaMKⅡ)contribute to tumor necrosis factor ?(TNF-?)-induced cardiomyocyte hypertrophy. Methods The protein content was assayed with Lowry's method. The cardiomyocytes volumes were measured by computer photograph analysis system. The protein synthesis was assayed with[3H]-lencine incorporation method.[Ca2+]i transient was measured by Till image system by cell-loading Fura-2/AM.The expression of CaMKⅡ?B was determined by Western blot. Results ① TNF-? significantly induced the increase of protein content,[3H]-leucine incorporation and cell size; These responses were significantly suppressed by KN93,a selective CaMKⅡ inhibitor.② TNF-? increased the amplitude of the spontaneous Ca2+ transients in cultured ventricular myocytes from the neonatal rat;CaMKⅡ inhibitor KN93 can suppress the elevation induced by TNF-?.③ TNF-? significantly increased the expression of CaMKⅡ?B.Concluslon CaMKⅡ signal pathway are involved in TNF-?-induced cardiomyocyte hypertrophy in rats.

Objective To analyze the problems of treating plague by TCM and find out the characteristics of clinical research of contemporary plague by the analysis of clinical research literature on the treatment of plague by TCM. Methods Differential treatment methods of one kind of plague in the literature as the main source of the data and the information that the pathogenesis-symptom-location of disease-nature of disease-prescriptions-drugs were taken to build the data base of the syndrome differentiation and treatment of certain kind of plague. Results Analyzed with literatures, the characteristics of plague clinical research showed: Different pathogenesis characteristics and evolution of plague were caused by diff① erent evils. ②Contemporary plague was named by western disease name. A new model which disease differentiation combined with syndrome differentiation has been formed. ③The diversification of administration promoted the treatment of emergent communicable disease with Chinese medicine. Conclusion The plague research lacked such research literature which could both reflect individualized diagnosis and embody the clinical rules. Traditional Chinese medicine theory could be researched and enriched by finding out the pathogenesis characteristics and evolution rule of the new plague and thus guide the clinical practice. It was effective to control and treat mergent communicable disease with TCM.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(03):-
Objective To establish a stable transplanted model of Vx 2 carcinoma in rabbit from three different transplanted methods, and analyze the DSA (digital substraction angiography) features of the implanted tumors. Methods 60 white rabbits of New Zealand were divided into 3 groups at random, 20 for each group. In the first group, Vx 2 carcinoma cells (about 5?10 7 )were infused via hepatic artery into the rabbit liver. For the second group, Vx 2 carcinoma cells (about 5?10 7 ) were inplanted into the left lobe of the liver via laparotomic route and in the 3rd group with the same route as the 2nd group, a piece of tumor tissue (contained about 10 6 10 8 carcinoma cells) were implanted into the left lobe of the liver. And then a comparative observation was performed in 3 groups included:1. the successful rate of implanted tumors; 2. the volume change and the growth rate of implanted tumors; 3. the biological features of implanted tumors in histopathology and electronic microscope photographs and DSA features of implanted tumors. Results The successful rates of transplanted tumors in the three groups were 7/20, 10/20 and 19/20 respectively. The successful rate of the 3rd group was the highest of the 3( P

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2001;0(06):-
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of collagenase chemolysis after 1,2,3 years and analyse the relationship between the therapeutic effect and image features. Probing the image features for the indication, 1 254 patients with integral data who received collagenase chemolysis procedure were followed. Methods According to standard unification diagnostic criteria and therapeutic method, 1 254 patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation who had intergral data and received collagenase chemolysis from January 1996 to January 1999 in our department were followed up (by visit, letter or telephone call etc). The therapeutic effects of collagenase chemolysis after 1,2,3 years were evaluated with unified therapeutic effect criteria. Results For the simple lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, 1 year effective rate was 93.1%, 2 year effective rate 90.3% and 3 year effective rate 90.9%. Conclusions The simple lumbar intervertebral disc herniation is the absolute indication of collagenase chemolysis, but those combined with other factors dosen't adapt to collagenase chemolysis.
