Objective This study aims to investigate the association of apoB/apoA-1 ratio with insulin resistance (IR) in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) . Methods A total of 224 patients with NAFLD and 166 healthy subjects were enrolled as NAFLD group and control group. Weight, height and blood pressure were recorded. Serum levels of fasting blood glucose (FPG), insulin (Fins), lipids, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) were measured. Homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) indices were calculated. Results Compared with control group, NAFLD group had higher apoB/apoA-1 ratio (0.76 ± 0.28 vs 0.61 ± 0.26) and HOMA-IR (2.43 ± 1.68 vs 1.86 ± 1.61) . Spearman correlation analysis showed that in NAFLD group, HOMA-IR positively correlated with age, body mass index (BMI), triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c), apoB/apoA-1 ratio (r =0.34, P < 0. 05) and HbA1c, and negatively correlated with high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c) . Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that apoB/apoA-1 ratio was still associated with HOMA-IR in NAFLD group after adjustment for age and BMI. Conclusion The apoB/apoA-1 ratio is closely associated with IR in patients with NAFLD. ApoB/apoA-1 ratio may play a role in the development of IR in NAFLD.

Objective To explore the value of MR T2 mapping imaging in evaluation of the effection of Zhitong-Jiangu recipes in treatment of cartilage injury in osteoarthritis. Methods The models of osteoarthritis in the knee of New Zealand white rabbits were made with intra-articular injection of papain.Totally 48 New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into normal control group, model control group, glucosamine hydrochloride treatment group and Zhitong-Jiangu recipes treatment group.MR T2 mapping was performed on the knee and the content of MMP-1 in articular cartilage was analyzed with immunohistochemistry 4 weeks after treatment. The differences of T2 value and MMP-1 content of articular cartilage among the four groups were compared. The correlation among the different intervention methods,MMP-1 content of articular cartilage and the T2 value of articular cartilage were analyzed. Results T2 value of articular cartilage in the model control group was significantly higher than that in the other three groups (all P<0.01),and there was no significant difference of T2 value among the other three groups. The MMP-1 content of articular cartilage in glucosamine hydrochloride treatment group and Zhitong-Jiangu recipes treatment group was lower than that in model control group (both P<0.05),and was higher than that in normal control group (both P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups. The relationship between MMP-1 content and T2 value of articular cartilage was nonlinear. With the increase of MMP-1 content,T2 value first increased slowly and then increased rapidly (P<0.05).Conclusion MR T2 mapping imaging is helpful to evaluating the efficacy of Zhitong-Jiangu recipes in treatment of cartilage injury in osteoarthritis in rabbit models. The relationship between MMP-1 content and T2 value of articular cartilage may be nonlinear.

Objective To analyze and compare the clinical efficacy of CalliSpheres drug-eluting micro-spheres and blank microspheres in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer by bronchial arterial chemoembolization. Methods Fifty patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who had failed or relapsed after radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeting and immunotherapy were collected and treated with super-selective bronchial artery chemoembolization.A retrospective analysis was conducted to compare the tumor response rate and survival between CalliSpheres drug-eluting and blank microspheres. Results The PR,ORR and DCR in the drug-eluted microsphere group were higher than those in the blank microsphere group, and there was a statistical difference in DCR between the two groups 1 month after surgery(χ2 = 4.08,P = 0.04).PD in the drug-eluted microsphere group was lower than that in the blank microsphere group. The CEA,CYF and SCC in the drug-eluted microsphere group after surgery were lower than those in the blank microsphere group, and the CEA,CYF and SCC in the two groups after surgery were lower than those before surgery, and there were statistical differences in CEA and CYF 1 month after surgery between the two groups. The PFS and OS in drug-eluted microsphere group were higher than those in blank microsphere group. Conclusion CalliSpheres drug-eluting microspheres could improve the effective rate of tumor treatment and prolong the survival time more effectively than the blank micro-spheres via arterial chemoembolization, providing reliable clinical practice basis for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.

Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma(GRR) has the function of replenishing vital energy and can lighten the body and prolong the life when taken for a long time, which is suitable for the development of anti-aging products, so this paper intends to sort out the progress of anti-aging research on GRR. After combing, the results of modern studies have shown that a variety of components in GRR have anti-aging effect, which can prolong the lifespan of aging animal models, as well as delay the aging of various systems. The anti-aging mechanisms mainly include anti-cellular senescence, anti-oxidative stress, inhibiting telomere shortening, maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis and so on. The anti-aging ingredients of GRR involved in the researches mainly include ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Rb1, in addition, ginsenoside Rg3, ginsenoside Rd, ginsenoside Rg2, ginsenoside Re, ginsenoside Rb2, oligosaccharides of GRR, polysaccharides of GRR, water extract of GRR, total saponins of Panax ginseng stems and leaves are also included. Therefore, under current background of population aging, the in-depth development of GRR and its transformation into anti-aging products are of great significance for delaying senility and improving the health conditions of aging population.
