Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2016;40(12):939-941
Objective]Summary of Professor Liu Hongqi in treating the spleen kidney two deficiency, deficiency of Qi and blood type, kidney deficiency and blood type of threatened abortion experience. [Method]Reading a lot of literatures, combined with the clinical common disease type, respectively, from the basic pathogenesis, basic treatment, and motion etc. summarize professor of treatment of this disease, and 1 case was attached.[Result]Professor Liu Hongqi believes that the clinical syndromes of this disease were spleen and kidney two empty, deficiency of Qi and blood and blood deficiency of the kidney, the incidence of kidney and spleen, closely related. Professor summed up the kidney and spleen during the long clinical course, Yiqi Yangxue Bushen tocolysis and clearing heat, cooling blood to stop bleeding method, were used on prescription Ma ginseng tocolysis particles, the Liangdi Antai Granuales added and subtracting tocolysis, collaborative western medicine, with emotion, achieved a significant effect. Case accurate, fully reflected the clinical experience of Professor Liu Hongqi in the treatment of threatened abortion. [Conclusion]Professor Liu Hongqi's superb skills, rigorous prescription testimonies, have unique insights for the treatment of this disease, the successful experience is worthy of clinical promotion.

AIM: To investigate the expression of soluble guanylate cyclase protein and its mRNA in rat pulmonary artery after exposure to hypoxia and hypercapnia. METHODS: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly split into 4 group, which were hypoxic hypercapnic (HH 1 week, HH 2 weeks, HH 4 weeks) group and control group, to copy pulmonary hypertensive animal model. The expression of sGC? 1 and ? 1 subunits protein of medial and small pulmonary artery was performed by immunohistochemistry with a polycolonal antibody. In situ hybridization was performed on the rat lung tissue using sGC oligonuclear probe to assay the expression of sGC? 1 subunit mRNA. RESULTS: The sGC? 1 and ? 1 subunits protein and sGC? 1 subunit mRNA were faint staining in the pulmonary small and medium artery in HH1 week, HH 2 weeks and HH 4 weeks groups compared with control group (all P

AIM: To clarify the role of nitric oxide (NO) system in development of chronic hypoxic hypercapnic pulmonary hepertension. METHODS: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into control group and hypoxic hypercapnic group. NO content of plasma was determined, constitutive nitric oxide synthase (cNOS) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) were examined using the technique of immunohistochemistry, expression of cNOS mRNA and iNOS mRNA of arteriole were detected by in situ hybridization. RESULTS: Plasma NO concentration, cNOS activity and cNOS mRNA expression in arteriole of chronic hypoxic hypecapnic group were significantly lower than that of control group ( P

ObjectiveTo explore the relationship of body fat distribution with serum lipid and its potentially predictive value for dyslipidemia.MethodsA total of 784 Beijing rural residents were enrolled in this study using a cluster sampling method. The body height, weight, waist circumference (WC),hip circumference, body composition,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( HDL-C ),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( LDL-C),total cholesterol ( TC),and triglycerides (TG) were measured. The body mass index (BMI) and waist to hip ratio (WHR) were calculated.ResultsThe age-adjusted partial correlation analysis showed that WC had the best correlation with HDL-C ( r =- 0.310) and LDL-C ( r =0.204 ),while WHR with TC ( r =0.151 ) and TG ( r =0.271 ).Subgroup analysis with different BMI,WC,WHR,and trunk fat mass (TFM) showed that WC,WHR,and TFM sensitively reflected the changes of body lipids, whereas BMI,WC,WHR,and TFM sensitively reflected the low HDL,high TG,and risk of dyslipidemia.Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis showed that the predictive curves of WC,WHR,BMI,and TFM were above the reference line, and the areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves of WHR (0.684,0.630),WC (0.667,0.616),and TFM (0.661,0.604) showed high tendencies than BMI (0.629,0.597) for both male and female subjects, although no statistically significant differences were found ( all P > 0.05 ).ConclusionsCompared with BMI,the body fat distribution indicators including WHR,WC,and TFM have higher predictive values in evaluating the risk of dyslipidemia. When the maximum Youden index for predicting the risk of dyslipidemia is applied, the ideal cutoff points was 24 kg/m2 for BMI,0.91 for WHR,85cm for WC,7.5kg for TFM in males, and 25 kg/m2,0.91,87cm,and 9.5 kg,respectively,in females.

Objective To characterize emotional memory impairment in untreated patients with Parkinson' s disease (PD) in the early stages of the disease. Methods Emotional memory tasks using standardized sets of emotional pictures including positive, neutral and negative valence were tested in 33 untreated patients with PD in the early stages and 31 healthy controls matched with age, sex, and education. Results Compared with the healthy adults (13.4 ± 1.4), PD patients had significant loss of negative valence picture memorizing ( 8. 9 ± 1.0; t = - 14. 87, P < 0. 01 ).There was no significant difference between PD patients and normal controls in positive ( 11.8 ± 1.0 vs 12. 4 ± 2. 2 , t = - 0. 95 ) and neutral (7.9 ± 1.4 vs 8.2 ± 1.3, t = - 0. 89) valence picture memorizing ( both P > 0. 05 ). ConclusionThe emotional memory for negative valence pictures is impaired but the emotional memory for positive and neutral is relatively spared in early PD patients without treatment.

Objective To explore the characteristics of event-based prospective memory (EBPM) and time-based prospective memory (TBPM) impairments in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). Methods EBPM and TBPM were examined in 87 PD patients and 85 healthy controls. And both of them were divided into two groups: aged group (≥60 years old) and non-aged group (<60 years old). Results (1) The scores of EBPM were significantly lower in aged PD patients and non-aged PD patients than in age-matched control groups [(2. 5±0. 4) vs. (5.8± 1.3),(3.9±2.4) vs. (6.3±1.5), both P<0. 01]. There were no significant differences in the scores of EBPM between aged PD patients or non-aged PD patients and their age-matched control groups [(3.6±0.5) vs. (3.8±0.8), (4.8±0.9) vs. (4.9±0.9), both P>0.05]. (2)The Hoehn-Yahr grade in PD patients was significantly correlated with scores of EBPM, but not with scores of TBPM.Conclusions The patients with PD have an impairment in EBPM, but not in TBPM. The impairment of EBPM may be related to the disease severity of PD.
